Tastefully furnished newly decorated 2 bedroom house on a quiet complex with free wifi. Very central to all holiday necessities, beaches, bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping, water parks and aquarium. Very large supermarkets few mins drive away for all your self catering needs. 15 mins by car to Ayia Napa and WaterWorld - Europe's largest themed Water Park! There are also many beautiful beaches in this area (voted cleanest and safest Med beaches year on year). Protaras, Fig Tree Bay, Nissi Beach, Macronissos, Pernera etc. All have restaurants and cafes for snacks, meals or just drinks. A short walk and you are in the heart of Paralmni town with its wonderful churches and children's play park, in the town square there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. If you don't want to drive then a short walk to the end of the street and you can hop on a bus which will take you to all the local beaches and resorts all the way to Protaras, Penerna or Ayia Nappa for just 2 euros.

About The Owner

Hi we are Tony and Sally from West Yorkshire, England, we have 2 children and spend most of our holidays over in Cyprus. We love the country and have made many good friends here over the years.

The Owner purchased this house in 2008

Why The Owner chose Paralimni

After falling in love with the area we decided to buy an apartment first off plan. Then after spending loads of time in Paralimni we knew this was where we wanted to retire, however because at present we can only come over for holidays we have decided to let it out. The people on the complex and in the town are so friendly and we have made lots of lasting friendships. I'm sure that once you have experienced the wonderful Cypriot hospitality you will come back year after year.

What makes this house unique

We love the outdoor life style, so its great to get up in a morning and enjoy breakfast on the front terrace and catch up with the locals. Then on an evening we enjoy dinner on the rear terrace where its more private and relaxing. The pool is great and very quiet with sunbeds, if you just prefer to relax and sunbathe. A short walk and you are in the town centre which offers loads of bars and restaurants for everyone, if you prefer pizza hut, KFC then you can get all this in the town or if you prefer a more traditional Cypriot meal then there are some wonderful tavernas.

If you prefer a more lively evening then you can hop on a local bus (which are very modern with air con) and for only a couple of euros you can go to Kapparis, Penerna, Protaras, or even Ayia Nappa to dance the night away

Hi Sally and Tony

Just wanted to send a quick email to let you know we had a fantastic holiday and the Town House was beautiful. The complex was very clean and tidy and the pool was a great size and very clean. There was everything we needed in the Town House for us to be able to self cater. The fridge/freezer is massive, and great for doing a big shop and holding our beer!!!

There was plenty of room for Me, Gary and Lewis and really enjoyed the outside patio areas. Lewis especially enjoyed the PS2!!!!

We hired a car for the duration of our stay and managed to get about and visit some very nice places. It's just a shame that we didn't stay longer so that we could visit more places further afield.

We most certainly will be coming back as we enjoyed the stay so much. Hope you enjoyed your holiday,Thanks again.

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning units in all rooms, children are very welcome and if required there is a cot for our guests use, a highchair can also be supplied, if requested at time of booking. Please note, we do not accept bookings for all male or all female parties, the villa is for family accommodation, or for mature adults. If any booking is made and not disclosed for such parties, we have the right to refuse access on arrival and no refund will be given. There is a no smoking and no pet policy inside the property. Outside: The house has 2 patio areas, 1 at the front and a larger one at the back, table and chairs are on both areas. There are plenty of seating areas around the communal pool with sun loungers, outdoor showers and indoor showers and changing rooms below the pool area. Utility Room: There is a washing machine and there is a iron/ironing board and airer all at your disposal. Also outside a washing line. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen, towels (bath and beach) provided, (less for you to pack!) The house will be clean upon your arrival. Cleaning, mid stay, can be arranged on request for a minimal charge. Extra linen/bath towels available. Other: On the back terrace there is a shed which has a several inflatables for the pool, flip flops, beach balls and snorkels for the beach.

Two weeks home from home with SUN

Very airy lovely breeze blowing through just to keep you cool, if it's too hot aircon if you are desperate with no extra charge, everything you need to self cater, plenty of outside space, in and out the shade with seating areas umbrella and sun beds and two toilets which is always handy, tv if you can't do without it, radio, selection of dvd's and games, pool too, great central location so not far from anything even two local shops at the bottom of the street, would recommend car hire to really make the most of your holiday great communication from Sally and Tony the owners

Nice townhouse - larger than expected

We arrived at the house following owners instructions with no trouble at all, parked our hire car right infront of the property on the drive.Once inside I was surprised how large it was from the description,everything was neat,tidy and very clean.In fact I commented to the owner it was one of the cleanest places we have ever rented in the past years-everything in house as advertised .The pool is literally 20 - 25 steps away from the house and whilst we were there we only saw a couple of people using it - the pool, along with the surrounding area was spotless and very well looked after.Small childrens park in front of house.

Very easy to walk into Paralimini (older/centre of it) it took us about 10minutes at a slow stroll -all flat roads- where you find shops,bars,restaurants.Recommend a restaurant in what was the Old Town Hall,had a great meal,reasonable price,owners very friendly.There are a couple of supermarkets near the property but will need transport to get to the large ones -Carrefor, Metro,Lidls,M&S.There is a bus stop near the property - we used a car but did see the buses frequently.Bus does a circular route taking in Protarus,Ayia Napa,Cape Grecco,Paralimini for 3 Euros (informed by neighbours) but we drove all the time,no trouble finding parking anywhere.The property is very well located for getting out and about in the car for access to all the main roads to take you around that end of the Island and further afield.We had only one issue with the property regarding the low water pressure which we e-mailed the owner about who replied immediately saying this had always been an issue but would ask the couple who take care of the property to come in and have a look.This they did, but it seems the local water pressure was down because of the very dry year they had had - however the water was hot if not very forceful and it didn't spoil our stay one bit.You will need transport to get to the beaches which are lovely but very busy - reccomend a trip to Potomas nearby which is a small fishing village with a Fish Restaurant(visited by locals) and a small beach.Carry on walking around and find your own personal mini beach/cove along the coastline, it is very quiet there unlike Protarus beaches. A visit to the Aquarium is good as it gets you out of the heat,there is also a mini zoo and childrens play area in the grounds and it is all flat walking.Thank you Sally for letting us rent your Cyprus home, had a great holiday, went too quickly.

Coast/Beach:

There are many beautiful beaches in this area (voted cleanest & safest Med beaches 2006). Fig Tree Bay, Nissi Beach, Macronissos, Pernera etc. All have restaurants and cafes for snacks, meals or just drinks. The nearest beach is in Pernera which you can get to by either car or bus, along the front there are beach side restaurants where you can use the sunbeds for free if you prefer rather than paying for sunbeds on the beach.

Travel:

Larnaca International Airport is approx. 45 mins by car/taxi which are both available at the airport. Car hire is not essential although it is recommended. (We have our own parking space or we can arrange your airport transfers if you prefer).

Taxi services in the area are cheap and buses are frequent and very cheap you can hop on a bus for approx 2 euros or 3 euros return and they go as far as Ayia Nappa, but if you want to explore further into the Island hiring a car is your best option.

Distances:

Paralimni town centre (shopping, M&S, banks etc) is approx 5 mins walk. Waterworld Waterpark in Ayia Nappa is the biggest water themed park in Europe, is approx 10 mins by car. Watersports (paragliding, jet-skis, banana-boat, flying fish, etc) are available on many of the beaches, the nearest being Skoutari by Malama Village, 5 mins by car or approx 25 mins walk. Bus service also available at the end of the street.

Further Details:

Cyprus' climate is perfect, the summers are long and hot and the winters are mild. Cypriot people are welcoming and helpful. The whole island is very accessible by car and has loads going on. It is a 10 min drive to one of the best beaches in Cyprus, the famous Fig Tree Bay, a glorious stretch of golden sands. Whilst the gentle surf and crystal clear waters here are ideal for children there is also numerous water sports on offer including paragliding, jet skis, water skiing, speed boat hire and boat trips. For those a little bit more adventurous there is excellent Scuba diving around the rocky coves of the nearby Cape Greco peninsula. From the annual watersports events at the beautiful Cape Greko (only 15 mins drive away), to the many historical sites dotted all around the island. You can even go skiing in the Troodos Mountains, which is only 90 mins drive away. The bustling resort of Ayia Napa with its famous beaches and fantastic restaurants and large waterpark again is only 15 mins drive away. There are also many golf courses dotted are the island. One is located in Larnaca (40 mins drive) and another is proposed for the future just outside of Protaras. Cyprus is a fabulous place to explore it has a wealth of fascinating history and archaeological treasures and hiring a car to take in the sights is highly recommended.

Booking Notes:
At time of booking a £100 refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, this will be refunded after you have departed the house providing there are no breakages.
The balance is payable 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
Cancellation refunds are as follows:
Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge.
4 - 8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded.
Less than 4 weeks - no refund.

Changeover Day:
The townhouse is fully flexible on changeover days and length of stays, however, check out time is 10am and check in time is 3pm, if you wish to stay later on your departure day this can be arranged at an additional cost.

Notes on prices:
All prices are per week and in UK pounds. We require a £100.00 deposit to secure the booking this will be held until after departure once the house has been cleaned and checked for damage/breakages.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
