Villa in Moraira, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Peaceful, secluded garden. Villa has aircon in all 3 bedrooms & lounge solar heated pool and wifi

Casa Feliz was built for a Spanish architect in 1985. The villa has a well maintained garden with numerous patio areas, swimming pool, car port and off-road parking for 3/4 cars. The 1st floor comprises of a typically covered Spanish terrace (naya) with views over the swimming pool and garden, a comfortable lounge/diner with satellite TV, air con & optional WIFI, modern fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with aircon and en-suite bathroom, 2nd double bedroom, with aircon and family shower room. The ground floor consists of a self contained air conditioned apartment with French doors opening on to the garden and consists of a double bedroom, kitchenette, wc and shower. The downstairs apartment does not have any internal access to the rooms above, but is ideal for couples, grandparents, etc who may like some privacy or could also be used for older off-spring who do not require supervision. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and aircons & if required also benefits from central heating

We all had a very enjoyable stay and as this was our 10th year in various villas at various locations, yours was outstanding in both location and quality. We had a fantastic time - The villa was beautiful very clean and comfy, like home from home. This is the 10th time we have visited Moriara as it's such a lovely place but this villa has been the best we have stayed in.

The pool is amazing so warm and inviting. We will be back in 2015 for sure. Thank you for making the villa so comfy and home from home.

6 Weeks in Paradise

This is the second year we have stayed for 6 weeks in Casa Feliz and we have already booked for 2015. We have been visiting Moraira for the past 5 years and this is the best villa we have stayed in. The location in perfect, on a quiet street, only a short stroll to all the many amenities (restaurants, bars beaches and shops). The villa is well maintained with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday.

We feel 'at home' there and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The solar heated pool makes it possible to swim as early as March.

Blissful Holiday

This was our second stay at Casa Feliz, and we fell in love with it all over again. A great location if you don't want to drive. The accommodation was spotless and more than ample for the two of us in the main part of the villa. And the outside space and solar-heated pool are fabulous and very private. Lovely evenings and early mornings spent sitting on the naya. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Chris and Ingrid, for all your kind efforts to make our holiday enjoyable.

Peaceful setting, plenty of space, secluded garden, views from Naya, location to beautiful Moraira, individual design but a home from home.

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 80 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Moraira at 0.5 Miles Nearest Ferry : Denia at 20 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Moraira at 3 Kilometres Nearest Train : Teulada at 10 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : AP7 at 10 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Moraira at 0.5 Miles Nearest Ski : at 150 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Moraira at 0.5 Miles Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

There are 3 Blue Flag sandy beaches within Moraira, 2 of which are within a ten minute stroll, the 3rd (El Portet) is a 5 minute drive away. There are numerous coves and small beaches between Moraira and Calpe.

Travel:

The villa is roughly a 50 minute, door to door, drive from Alicante airport and 80 minutes from Valencia airport. Apart from the journey to and from the airport a car is not essential but is desirable. If you wish to come for an extended stay it might be worth considering driving. It takes 18 hours with an overnight stay in France.

Distances:

There are a variety of large and small towns e.g. Javea, Altea, Calpe or Benidorm. The kids would love the theme park at Terra Mitica, a water park at Aqualandia and Mundomar Sea Life Park in Benidorm (30 minute drive). Places of interest include Eagles Nest.

Further Details:

The area is ideal for families as Moraira is quite small, very clean and the Spanish are extremely friendly. There are an interesting assortment of shops, restaurants and tapas bars. The town of Moraira was originally a fishing village and has kept its charm, with a village community feel, it has a pretty marina near the fish market and an old fort. There is small fun fair open most of the year for younger children and a nearby go-carting track. Moraira is a family destination with clean, shallow, Blue Flag beaches with a lifeguard station on the main beach.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking with the balance to be paid at least 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A security deposit of £200 is required at the time of paying the balance, with the deposit being returned within one week of departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is a Saturday (during July and August), arrival after 4 pm, cases can be dropped of after 2 pm, with departure before 10 am. Every attempt is made to be as flexible as possible so please contact the owners for altenative arrangements

Notes on prices:
If you do not get an email response within 12 hours please call on our mobile number. All prices quoted are in GBP, but payable in £ or Euro and are based on 7 nights accommodation.
Discounts: A 20% discount is offered on the 2nd and subsequent week for bookings of 2 weeks or more. Prices do include all reasonable use of the air conditioning units, all we ask is they are not left on with windows and/or doors open, when nobody is in the villa, etc. WIFI is an optional extra at £12 per week

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: A newly installed boiler ensures a good, powerful supply of hot water. New air conditioning units have been installed in 3 bedrooms and a larger AC unit in the lounge. A solar heating system has been fitted to the pool to make the most of swimming during the beautiful Spring and Autumn days, however, because it is solar we cannot quarantee the water temperature. Solar heating is not effective between Dec and March. We make no charge for this benefit but as stated we cannot guarantee the water temperature, either. Outside: There is a spacious, well maintained garden with seating areas on the terraces and around the swimming pool area. The property is accessed by double ornate iron lockable gates.There is secure parking for 2/3 cars, plus a covered car port. There is a 8m x 4m Roman style private pool which is maintained weekly. The pool has steps leading into it, with the shallow end being 4 feet deep increasing to approx. 6 feet deep. The pool patio area also benefits from a movable large parasol. The covered terrace (Naya) has a wrought-iron gate which can be used to contain toddlers, the terrace overlooks the garden and pool and has a table and chairs for Alfresco dining. There is a further eating and built in BBQ area under a large parasol providing welcome shade. Utility Room: The utility room houses the washing machine and a new gas boiler. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are included and changed weekly. Cot sheets and beach/pool towels are not included. The villa is cleaned before arrival and after departure. Other: All bedrooms have air conditioning units and for those that dislike air conditioning ther are ceiling fans, there are mosquito nets and Rejas over the windows to allow windows to be left open at night. The villa also has central heating.
