Apartment in Vilamoura, Central Algarve, Portugal - Lovely Setting Within A 10 Minute Walk To The Beach

This delightful ground floor apartment has a bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge diner with satellite TV, DVD and sofa bed. There is a shaded terrace over-looking the gardens and a communal adult plus baby pool in the grounds.

Relaxing week in the Algarve

We chose to book this apartment from a final selection of about 4 others in Vilamoura. We are so glad we did as this one was in the perfect location for us. We wanted to be near the lively Marina area but not too near (5 mins walk) and be close to a supermarket (2 less than 5 mins walk).

As we were self catering an added bonus was a small private bakers just 30 metres opposite our apartment which also had a tea/coffee shop attached. This was our first stop every day and was a very special place indeed, and cheap.

Vilamoura beaches are just 10 mins walk away and the whole area is flat as opposed to Alberfuira which is very hilly. Our apartment was big for 2 people and is set up I guess to accomodate young families of 3/4 as a lovely 'L' shaped sofa bed in lounge and baby cots and high chairs etc. available. On arrival we were impressed by the inherent security facilities, key opening, gated etc. and the patio door and bedroom window both having electrically operated roller shutters. Closing these at night gave coplete blackouts so helped with sleeping and any road noise was minimal. Having a seperate proper fully fitted kitchen, washing machine etc. was great. The bedroom has an air con unit which cools through into the lounge if required.

We sat on the South facing veranda enjoying the lovely well maintained gardens and swimming pool.Being a ground floor apartment this is very handy for access to pool and the coffee shop. All in all we were extremely pleased with our choice and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Faro airport 25 minutes drive, transfers can be arranged as a car is not essential for this property.


In Vilamoura approximately 20 minutes to Loule by car and 10 minutes to Quarteira by car.

Further Details:

Superb location for all amenities as the supermarket and bank are a 2 minute walk. Vilamoura Marina provides all the restaurants, bars, shops and is a 5 minute walk from the property.
