Our luxury self catering apartments Aalin Thie, in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking countryside on the outskirts of Douglas, afford you every comfort you could wish for. Contemporary decor and furnishings with many additional extras including the underfloor heating and Panasonic Etherea air conditioning with Ion Plus air filtration, which is ideal for hay fever or allergy sufferers. Outside we offer a garden. Patio and barbecue where you can dine al fresco or simply enjoy a glass of wine on the swing bench and watch the setting sun.

Oak panelled doors, warm Mediterranean marble and our Expresso coffee machine all add a continental flavour to the one bed apartment. The open plan lounge has a comfy corner unit sofa bed, plasma TV with full Sky access, DVD, iPod docking station and original Manx works of art. The light oak dining suite accommodates up to four people and a matching sideboard is home to books, games and local information. Our bedrooms have king size zip and link beds.

Please note that the booking fee is an Owners Direct additional charge or commission to the rental cost we charge and is an additional cost for you. We already pay a significant fee to Owners Direct for the listing. Therefore when you make a reservation this way you are charged a comission. As with all IOM registered Tourist accommodation The Owners are required to have liability insurance in place

David & Susan have been running holiday properties for 20 years. Aalin Thie has been designed with the benefit of all their experience to bring a first to the Isle of Man.

The apartments are the first to be air conditioned with underfloor heating in the Isle of Man. An array of entertainment with sky world and wi fi. Great location and safe private parking.

David has a private tax practice and Susan is a Nurse

They have two Children James and Rebecca. They also have a holiday villa in Kyrenia Cyprus which they visit each year.

The service we received was brilliant. The apartment was first class, everything you could ever wish for. The apartment is within minutes drive from the ferry terminal, we found this great - no long drive looking for it! We got the biggest wow factor going through the door and what we liked the least was leaving it behind!



We found the apartment to be like new, very clean, well equipped, and well sited for access to Douglas and to main roads for island touring. The owners were helpful, giving ideas on places to visit and where to eat. Any questions we had about appliance operation were answered quickly and concisely.

I/we wouldn't hesitate to recommend aalin Thie to friends and will most certainly reserve it again (in approximately five years) for another stay.

Peaceful, spacious and comfortable apartment

Located at the top of Beechwood Rise on the outskirts of Douglas, the apartment was beautifully presented. It was clean, spacious and well-maintained with all mod cons. We appreciated the quality of the accommodation, including the shower cubicle with its digital control panel. It was a bit like being in Dr Who's Tardis!

The location was perfect for getting out and exploring the island. We went everywhere from Point of Ayre to The Calf of Man. We recommend The Manx Museum in Douglas as a means of getting to know some of the island's rich history. There is also a smashing little art gallery there that creatively reflects The Isle of Man in various guises.

Big thanks to the owners - David & Susan for hosting us and for allowing us to stay a couple of extra nights because of the Liverpool ferry being out of action. It was a great holiday made extra special because of where we were staying - a home away from home.

Fantastic holiday

We spent a fantastic week at the apartment, when we arrived we were greets and shown around the apartment and how to use all the "mod cons"

I was gobsmacked at how new everything was and the standard and presentation was exceptional!

After our trip we even had milk in the fridge to get a cuppie.

David and sue went to great lengths to ensure our comfort, and the apartment really did have everything you would need.

I tried to take the fancy shower home but it wouldn't fit in my suitcase, with massage jets and a sauna facility not to mention a seat! You really are spoilt!

We worked out the bus routes very quickly, and a lovely 10 minute walk had you at the bus stop and local shops.

We will return, I could find no faults everything was well thought through to ensure a trouble free stay.
