The apartment benefits from a large, private terrace which boasts panoramic views of the local area, Mediterranean and the Mar Menor seas.

About the Owner
Andrew and Sarah Kay lives on their farm in north Nottinghamshire.. They run their own companies and have three children two girls and a boy who are now all in their twenties and employed, living and working in Stamford, London and Nottingham. Andrew has two Labradors and Sarah two border collies along with a few sheep ducks chickens and three cats.
The whole family are very sporty and have all played in several tennis tournaments in La Manga Club.
Andrew and Sarah even managing to win the mixed doubles one year...
They love La Manga so much that they decided to buy there in 2005,and have decided to rent out their lovely appartment Los Olivos 4c...

Lovely La Manga
Having visited Los Olivos La Manga before we were excited to be going back but to a different apartment, we were by no means disappointed the apartment had everything we needed as a family of young adults & middle age adults, it was very spacious which gave us all our own space & not on top of each other it is very bright and airy too. After spending time by the lovely pool we enjoyed lunch on the very large balcony & enjoyed the amazing views. The bars & restaurants are just a short walk away where you can enjoy your evenings, "La Finca" restaurant gets 10/10. The whole holiday got 10/10 from my family & can't wait to go back.
Perfect for everyone
We stayed here with friends and it suited us all perfectly and exceeded our expectations. The men were more than content playing golf all day, relaxing by the pool in the afternoon and cooking on the barbecue on our terrace for the evening. The girls meanwhile enjoyed the sun filled huge terrace overlooking the Strip during the day, relaxing at the pools and exploring the cute restaurants at lunch. An occasional game of tennis gave us an excuse to carry on relaxing!
The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were luxuriously sized. Plenty of space indoors for us all too should we have wanted to spend more time inside. The location of the apartment was fantastic. We had lots of choices of pools within 5 minutes (or less) walk from the apartment - we could choose the most quiet one! The nearest pool actually has an indoor pool too. Would love to come again.
Lovely Los Olivos!
My family and I spent a wonderful sunny week at this beautiful resort and Los Olivos exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family. It is close (five minute walk) to the pools, tennis courts and good quality restaurants where the seafood is fresh and delicious! The apartment itself is very well taken care of, clean and with excellent facilities. For our family of four it felt spacious, and we particularly enjoyed evening drinks on the balcony - the view over La Manga is absolutely stunning! Thank you for a lovely stay - we'll be back!
La Manga club
Having returned in early October 2013 from La Manga, after enjoying a fantastic holiday in Los Olivios we feel a more realistic review would be appropriate. The apartment was surprisingly large, with a very well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were bigger than average and the bathrooms clean and spacious. The dining, sitting room was excellent, with plenty of seating to accommodate family and friends. This area led on to a spectacular balcony, which has to have one of the best views of the strip I have seen. Due to the unusual high temperatures we benefited from an efficient air conditioning system during the night and the amazing swimming pool during the day which was so close to the apartment and which we had to ourselves for the entire week. Incredible! Having just read the review by Hugo, I can only pose the question, was he staying in the same apartment as us? I doubt it, maybe he picked up the wrong keys!
We took our twin 2 year old boys and grandparents to La Manga, for a bit of autumn sun. We found the place very clean and tidy on arrival, and was surprised how well equipped if was. The kitchen had everything you'd need, and the big TV, DVD and Sky box was a great bonus. The rooms are all of a good size, and the bathrooms were also fine. The balcony is great with loads of space to eat and longe, with an amazing view. We found the resort great for us and the kids, with Several pools with 1 min walk, as well as bars, restaurants and shops within 5 mins. Great tennis and golf setup for those who wish, whilst the resort beach was very secluded. Recommend to all ages.
The best feature of this property is the view from the balcony. The soft furnishings are more tired looking than in the photos. On arrival we switched the air-conditioning on causing water to flow from the unit through the bathroom ceiling, forcing us to turn the air-conditioning off. We reported this immediately, but the air-conditioning unit was not fixed or replaced during our two week stay so we had no air-conditioning during a very hot two weeks. . We have been in contact with the owner since our return, but his response was that these things happen in life.
I would recommend staying in the Los Olivos complex as it occupies a very central location in La Manga Club, close to the tennis centre and restaurants, but I would select a different apartment if I returned next year!

This location is ideal and is very central giving walking access to many of the sports facilities and the many fine restaurants. LO4c.. is on the top row and therefore has the best views with the Mar Menor and Mediterranean in the distance.There is close access to a lovely private outdoor pool with adjacent indoor pool and jacuzzi . It is the ideal location to chill and relax with access to many sports if required .”

La Manga Club is home to one of the best tennis centres in Europe. It boasts 28 courts (most are floodlit), with a choice of surfaces. The excellent Tennis Academy has fully qualified coaches who teach courses or individual lessons for adults and children of all abilities. The tennis centre also hosts a squash court, gym and the facility to play bowls.
Other activities available on La Manga Club include a kids club (0-12 years), dance, horse riding, cricket, rugby, football and mountain biking. Water sports are available nearby.
There is also a luxurious spa at La Manga Club which boasts a 25 metre indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi along with a range of beauty treatments.
The nearest beach (La Cala) is less than a mile away (the terrain is steep and therefore travel by car is recommended). There are lots of beaches in the local area including the beautiful, long, sandy beaches at Calblanque (10 mins drive) and further beaches along La Manga Strip.
La Manga Club is serviced by airlines that fly into both Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante airports. Murcia (San Javier) airport is a 30 minute drive away and Alicante airport is just over an hours drive away.
While a lot of visitors never feel the need to leave La Manga Club, there are lots of places to visit should you decide to have a change of scenery. In the apartment you will find a book full of information about local places of interest. This includes the village of Los Belones which is approximately 5-10 minutes by car and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The town of Cartagena is a short drive away (less than 30 minutes by car) and has a variety of historical attractions to enjoy along with some fantastic shops. Cabo de Palos, a very charming fishing village, is approximately 15-minutes by car and boasts a harbour, excellent fish restaurants and a large Sunday morning market.

Changeover day is Saturday to Saturday during the Summer months but we are more flexible during the low and mid season. Your accommodation can be accessed from 4pm on your arrival day and we ask that you vacate by 10am on your departure day.
Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week, in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of air-conditioning, linen, towels and cleaning of the property after your stay. If your booking is longer than 10-days a mid-stay laundry change is included in the price. The property is managed by a local company who along with cleaning and maintenance provide a 24-hour emergency call-out service. Additional services such as cot hire, pre-stay shopping and airport-transfers can be provided at an additional cost.
A 10 % deposit is required to secure the booking of this property. The balance is then due 10 weeks prior to departure, you will be contacted when this is due. Once the balance has been paid directions to the apartment will be provided along with details of how to access the key to the property.

“The property is on the top row, but car parking and access is still on the same level; parking is only twenty metres from the door. Quality towels and sheets are available throughout as chosen for our private use. These are better than many of the rent only premises in LO. A large flat screen television has been added with a substantial choice of channels.”
