Luxury Villa El Castillo is set in the tranquil area of Costa Nova in Javea with fabulous views across a cluster of pine trees. The bright and spacious lounge, dining area and master bedroom have doors leading onto the spacious terrace where spectacular views can be enjoyed. The garden has a built in barbecue and external kitchen fully equiped on the lower large terrace and a beautiful private swimming pool. Kitchen with a family room and double doors leading out to a open terrace (Naya). Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and doors leading out to main terrace. Separate bathroom/WC and shower. The hallway opens out into the dining area and patio doors open out onto the open terrace (Naya). Internal stairs to a further small hallway. Double bedroom with en-suite shower facilities. Twin bedroom. Separate bath and shower room and WC. Free Internet WIFI + TV SAT (french and UK) DVD + bedlinen and towels provided.

About Jean

We live in in Belgium where we have 2 children. We are in early forty with jobs in teaching and finance. We like to travel the world but still love Spain the best (climate, food and culture). We have made many friends in Javea since our first arrival in 1992 and have really fallen in love with the country.

Why Jean chose Jávea

It is our villa and the confort is like our home in Belgium - The area is very quiet in a residential are - a lot of spaces for the kids in garden - completely closed and secured. Have a good stay in our villa.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is designed as a family home in a quiet residential area whilst being only five minutes by car to all the activities of a lively beach resort. The pool is beautifull with very confortable sun beds for 6 people. Full privacy! There is a shady naya for alfresco dining with view to the green zone (pine trees) and the pool. This villa has been equipped as our own house and offers a new external kitchen with bar close to the pool. 3 sun umbrellas are available as well as a nice pergola with sofas for 9 people.

"I am definitely rebooking for next year. I took my daughter and her boyfriend and we all thoroughly enjoyed the villa, which was well equipped and had everything to suit our needs. My daughter connected her Ipad on the WIFI from the pool and she stayed connected with friends. We spent most of ours days in the pool and lazing around the garden and using the garden lounge. We cooked with the BBQ the fishes coming from the local port. The owner recommended a lot of great and affordable restaurant in the Javea bay - Excellent stay - Ireland Family

Notes on accommodation: Teenagers are welcome - 40" TV (new one), DVD, and instant messaging to their friends back home with the WIFI internet 24/7 (for free), please bring your own laptop. Small DVD library and some board games are at your disposal. Sun beds round the pool, books and paperbacks to read for the adults. Outside: Private pool (10X5) - from 1m to 1m70. Large terrace with built in BBQ, new external kitchen with bar close to the pool and all furniture for outside. Ping Pong Table and trampoline also available in the garden. Utility Room: Swimming pool maintained on weekly basis - washing machine is available in the villa. There are also items for use in the pool and a beach umbrella, chairs and luxury lounge beds for pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are included in the price as well as WIFI internet. The cleaning of the house at the end of the stay is EUR 150. Other: Central heating as well as pool heating on request paid locally. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and kitchen/dining area. WIFI is available for free including 40" flat TV Sat and DVD player.

Great place to stay

The villa was perfect for our family (2 small children aged 6yrs and 3yrs). The villa was:

- clean and tidy on arrival

- well stocked with kitchen equipment (cooking utensils, coffee machines, etc)

- had a heated pool (extra cost)...the children played for hours on end and was worth the money (we visited in April).

In addition the owner was very responsive to questions, etc. We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

Spacious villa with heated private pool

Spacious villa, quite well equipped, definitely the owner’s home from home. Master bedroom lovely with very comfortable bed. Proper house with good room sizes. A little dated perhaps, but clean and comfortable. Outside area private and spacious. Pool lovely and heated at extra cost, which we needed at the end of March and was well worth the money.

In a quiet residential area, a car is a must as only the Indian restaurant is within walking distance. Older teenagers needed to leave the villa and be driven to more lively areas much more often than their parents would have liked! Would be perfect for families with younger kids who want to chill by the pool. Local caretaker is very friendly and sorted out the few niggles we had quickly.

One suggestion: A welcome pack of milk, bread, coffee, tea, sugar would have been a useful addition, as flight delays meant we arrived after all the shops had shut - and l’m certain other people have had a similar experience!

A couple of warnings: There are a lot of stairs. We also didn’t use the roof terrace, as it was quite windy and exposed. This area would be unsuitable for younger children and anyone afraid of heights.

All communication with the owner was excellent. Instructions on how to find it were good. Local support was quick and helpful.

Good value for money, too.

We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Great Villa, Great Value

It's a bit out of town, but the area is so quiet, also great for late night star gazing due to the lack of light pollution. Every conceivable item you could need is here. Beds are comfortable and the showers are great. Everest Spice (Indian just down the road) is fab, we went 3 times. "The Lounge" on Carretera Del Guardia is just being redeveloped as a music performance bar along with a restaurant, open by summertime. I would not hesitate to book again. Taxi to Javea/Arenal is 11 euros.

Fantastic villa very comfortable

The local manager was very responsive when we had a technical question. The villa is very well equipped with everything we need.

The garden is beautiful with a lot of fruits in the lemon and orange trees. We squeezed the jus each morning for the breakfast...just amazing to collect fresh fruits in th garden.

We used the heating pool and it It was a wonderful place to swim in. The area is very quiet. From the naya with the sun, you can read and relax, it is calm and that week was so regenerative for us. Thanks for your lovely villa.

Looking forward to our next visit!

As previous owners of this property we were apprehensive about returning and renting our old home - but have no regrets and would return!

Both before, and during our stay, the owner Jean Luc and his agents Westbeck were extremely helpful effectively and promptly dealing with a couple of minor issues.

We and our friends/family that joined us over the 3 weeks thoroughly enjoyed the property and its location - as always!

Although we self catered a little the majority of our gastronomic overindulgence took place in the wealth of excellent Javea restaurants from the superb quality and value at Casa de la Pizza a few hundred metres away, to Michelin star Bon Amb on the outskirts.

Relaxing

We had a very relaxing stay at the villa,which is just what we were looking for from our stay .The heated pool was ideal as it meant we could use it even if the weather was a little overcast.All in All a lovely time was had.
