We live with our children, and our 3 year old pet rough collie. We both work, but spend most of our holidays in France and Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with these countries.

It was just like getting a cuddle from you both.The tray set with treats was such a lovely touch, and the way the apartment was presented was just delightful.It is indeed exactly as described - the view, the balcony, the rooms - all superbly comfortable.Location.Perfect.We had an idea of the situation of the apartment, sometimes descriptions can be deceptive not on this occasion. Ideal for Shops, Restaurants, Cafe etc, Beach and Port a pleasant stroll away.The Pool. Superb-lots of loungers and space to stretch out we stay in hotels for overnights, use apartments for longer stays.Yours was one of the best we have stayed in.Being disabled, location is important to us - will have no idea that the surrounding parks, gardens, Port etc are all on one level, no hills.it must be very difficult to let it out-we know if it belonged to us, we would spend most of our time there.Norrie,Linda Inglis.2011

Notes on accommodation: Thermostatically controlled, electric heaters in each room. We have included beach towels to enable travellers with the low cost airlines to minimise their baggage. Outside: Astoundingly beautiful. The apartment is set in secure private beautifully landscaped grounds with a large, probably the best swimming pool facility for miles and children’s play area. It is surrounded by a spacious terrace with sun loungers. Mature olive and palm trees, and many shrubs enhance the Mediterranean feel. Only a short 10 minute walk from miles of sandy beaches, apartment offers views of the Pyrenees and Canigou.The car park is secured by electronic gates. The keys include a remote control. A shortcut by secure side gate gets you to local shops in a minutes! Kiddies playground and a boules area is part of the complex. Utility Room: All cleaning apparatus including Vacuum cleaner, brush, cloths and cleaning agents are supplied. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All top quality bed linen, hand towels , bath towels and bath robes are provided for each guest with a weekly change. Beach towels per guest are also included. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. Other: The stunning balcony includes table/6 chairs in dining area, large umbrellla.A high quality gas BBQ.will assist with your alfresco dining. The lounge area includes cane furniture, table and 4 chairs as you relax with wine,& watch the incredible sunset.

tranquil location

The apartment is in a lovely location with a shopping complex downstairs. As we traveled out of season some of these were closed, but there were still enough open to cater for our needs, especially warm croissants for breakfast! Strolling around the marina and down to the beach was quiet and relaxing. There is a huge balcony with great views from both the living room & bedroom. The other towns north and south of St Cyprien all well worth a trip and very easy to drive to. Miles of sandy beaches with seafront restaurants and cafes were fantastic.

It was brilliant that there were "store cupboard" goodies and washing up liquid etc all provided - that is a massive plus point!!

A final note to say that Marie & Paddy were lovely to deal with during booking etc and provided a lot of useful information about the surrounding area.

Relaxing location.

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped apartment. Great views from balcony. Convenient for shops and restaurants. Secure car parking. Swimming pool was a bonus. Jardin de Plantes was beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Paddy & Marie on site; the perfect hosts, and very welcoming. We would happily return.

Great location

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. The secure complex with its own pool was great to come back to after a day site seeing. The beach is a short walk away and if you feel a little more energetic,then an evening stroll to st Cyprien is well worth it. There is a different restaurant to try every night. If you just want to sit and relax the large veranda at the apartment is great to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine purchased from the local shops. Indeed the small complex next to the apartment has everything you need, butcher, baker, restaurant, supermarket and lovely fresh fruit and veg. The owner of the bakery is a great character, just typical for everyone they have a good rapport and really make you welcome. Thank you Marie and Paddy for letting us stay in your lovely apartment. We are looking to book again next year.

Just Perfect

From the warm welcome and treats on our arrival to the day we left, everything was just perfect! The apartment is impeccable and equipped to the highest standard. You will want for nothing. Location is also ideal, tranquil but with shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The 15 minute walk to the port area and beaches is a delight along the marinas. The beautiful Jardin des Plantes is also only a short walk and highly recommended. I never tired of looking at the view from the terrace across the marina and out to the Med. Saint Cyprien is an ideal location for exploring up and down the coast and into the mountains. Also ideal for dog owners as the beach at Laguna was dog friendly. Thank you again Marie and Paddy for a wonderful stay.

View Splendour

We had such a wonderful holiday staying at this apartment, we returned to do it all over again!!! The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring the coast and countryside of this beautiful region and the local beaches, and St Cyp Centre are a stones-throw away. The beautiful Park and Gardens are just opposite and this also boasts a terrific Sports Centre. The Shops and Restaurants just adjacent to the Apartment are accessed via the gate at the side of the property with groceries, newspapers all available, or have a delicious meal or just join the locals for a coffee or glass of wine here. But what really made us come back was the Apartment, so comfortable and well equipped with the Swimming Pool the Icing on the Cake. It was sheer bliss to sit on the huge balcony - we had most of our meals there in the sun enjoying the lovely views over the Marina. We visited many local villages and towns, Perpignan, beautiful Collioure and Carcassonne, ventured in to Spain but it was always lovely to return "Home" to our Balcony and a glass of Wine.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday in season but we will be happy to discuss other days and times in medium and low seasons. Arrival is 4pm with departure at 11 am on the day you leave. Flexible where possible, to facilitate pricing of low cost airlines.
