Apartment in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Centrally Located And Convenient For Shops And Restaurants With The Beach In Front

This spacious, first floor apartment is on the sea front and has splendid sea views, situated just across from the sandy beach and close to the centre and shops. At the front of the property the large (approx 30m2) furnished balcony overlooks the beach and harbour and is ideal for sunbathing, dining or just watching the world go by. The apartment itself consists of three twin bedrooms; one at the front of the property with terrace doors leading to the balcony and two at the rear. There are two complete bathrooms with bath and overhead shower; one of them en-suite. A fully fitted kitchen is complete with an electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, breakfast table and washing machine. There is also large terrace at the rear. Finally the bright lounge-diner has satellite television and opens onto the front balcony. Fully air-conditioned throughout. Wonderful family apartment with all amenities close at hand.

Excellent, 1st Class

The property has an outstanding location and the facilities are excellent. Very close to the beach and within easy reach of some very good restuarants. Cannot recommend this property highly enough. We will definitely go again and are planning a return next year.Listing was very accurate and property very clean. Property Manager took care of our every need and the customer service was first class.

Wonderful holiday

Although we were only two people in this very spacious appartment we felt comfy and at home. Superb location, the view from the balcony was superb, we have only been home for one day and we are missing the place already. Peurto Pollensa is in our opinion the best location on the island and we will certainly be returning.

Just returned from a 1 week stay at this apartment and we will be booking for 2 weeks next year!

This is a v spacious apartment with a huge terrace that makes you feel it’s on the beach and is accessed from the front bedroom and living room.

Lovely views of the sea, boats, marina etc.. Extremely convenient location (pop downstairs for your fresh bread each morning) and just a step from the sandy beach which is perfect for children. Also a short stroll along the front to all the restaurants in the pedestrian area. There are also restaurants just below the apartment.

I agree with the previous review that it’s a little old fashioned inside and quite basic, but that’s fine for a hot/ beach holiday when most of your time is outside - perhaps adding a hairdryer would be an advantage!

However, the air conditioning was very efficient and the beds comfortable - also 2 large bathrooms. Plenty of room for 6 (although we were 4) and a large enclosed terrace to the rear with access from both rear bedrooms.

All in all, this has been the easiest and most relaxing beach holiday with 2 young children we have had to date and the apartment has been perfect for us.

Superb Apartment

We have just returned from our 3rd holiday in this wonderful apartment and will shortly be booking for next year. It is ideally situated right opposite the beach and marina and the views are incredibly beautiful. The apartment is huge with a very large balcony for relaxing on. The furnishings are quite old fashioned but this adds to the charm. It is spotlessly clean on arrival. Everything is within very easy reach, including supermarkets, shops of every description, the taxi rank and bus stops. Highly recommend Cafe 1919 for coffee and snacks, Jokers for meals overlooking the sea and Tribeca Restaurant for special treats (open evenings only). Rafael and Kelly who manage the apartment are always helpful and available should you need any information. Highly recommend this property.

Central placering med stor skøn terrasse

Stor lejlighed med stor terrasse med den skønneste udsigt over havnen og stranden.

Dejligt centralt og gå afstand til alt

Lejligheden var lidt nusset og kunne godt have tålt en bedre rengøring især i køkkenet...- vi fik skiftet linned og håndklæder efter 1 uge, hvor de søde damer også lige gjorde toiletterne rene, hvilket opvejer det en smule.

Køkkenet er dårligt udstyret i forhold til hvis man skal lave mad til 6 pers... Vi var 5 og der var én stor pande og adskillige gryder, bestik var der også mangel på samt ordentlige skæreknive. Skærebræt var det et af, og denne var var knækket midtpå ....

Så en opgradering af køkkenet ville være et stort plus. Samt en gas-grill på terrassen ville også være et plus

Coast/Beach:

The wide south sandy beach is located immediately in front of the apartment. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and water sports are available.

Travel:

Palma airport is only a 40 minute drive away. Puerto Pollensa can be reached by taxi (approx 70 euros each way, we can book this for you), bus (either public or transfer service) or hire car.

Distances:

The apartment is located in the centre of Puerto Pollensa where there is a good choice of shops and restaurants. Both Pollensa and Alcudia old towns can easily be reached by bike (can be hired locally), car or bus (10 minutes).

The sedate holiday resort of Puerto Pollensa stretches along a sheltered horseshoe-shaped bay lined with sandy beaches, set against the backdrop of the Boquer mountain range on the north coast of Mallorca. The resort has grown up around the scenic fishing port that serves the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa, situated a few miles inland. Described as a laid bake resort Puerto Pollensa attracts families and couples. Cafes, restaurants and tourist shops line the promenade along with some elegant hotels, which overlook the wide sandy beach and the bay, dotted with the colourful sails of yachts. Puerto Pollensa is very adequately supplied with shops and boutiques catering to the tourist trade and holidaymakers will enjoy a spot of shopping. In addition the local markets delight shoppers in Mallorca, and one of the liveliest and biggest takes place every Sunday in the church square in the Pollensa old town. Market day in Puerto Pollensa itself is Wednesdays, when stalls are set up in the Church Square. Puerto Pollensa is renowned for hosting some of the best fish restaurants on Mallorca. While this is undoubtedly so, there is also a wide selection of restaurants catering to all tastes, from the best of British to pizza, Chinese, the local tapas and even Indian.Puerto Pollensa offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and pavement cafes. Catering for all tastes and budgets.

Puerto Pollensa offers all the usual watersports enjoyed by holidaymakers. Glass bottom boat trips are available. There are also opportunities for hiking along walking trails in the surrounding hills and scenic mountains. Sightseeing in the port itself and the neighbouring old town, particularly on foot, is an interesting option. Excursions to the lighthouse at Cap Formentor, along a hair-raising but beautiful drive, are popular, also trips to other places of interest on Mallorca. Generally, though, most visitors come to Puerto Pollensa purely for relaxation on the magnificent beaches.
