Villa in Peyia, Paphos, Cyprus - Private Detached Villa

The property has been appointed to a very high standard. It has solid marble floors on the ground floor and lower level, with a hardwood staircase to the first floor where the bedrooms all have solid wood floors. The property is on 3 floors taking advantage of its position on the hillside having fantastic views from all levels.The ground floor has a large open plan living room with dining kitchen, the living room having a spectacular floor to ceiling window giving fantastic unimpeded views towards the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, hob and oven, all surrounded by a solid granite worktop, additional microwave and toaster. There is also a double bedroom and bathroom on this floor. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom with double bed, and two twin bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities and great seaviews. The Lower level has the 5th bedroom, a twin room and shower room with loo and a large games room. Pool towels are provided.

The Villa is family owned and run and fitted to a high specification as we all use it on a regular basis. We all love the views from the patio and the peaceful environment the Villa is located in as well as the family feel to the villa with its own private pool, outside dining, and its soft seating area. We are property developers in the UK so are experienced in property management and therefore keep our Villa in excellent condition.

Why Jo Ferard chose Peyia

We purchased this property because we wanted a private villa that we could use all year round that would fit all our needs. We wanted something private and the area the villa is located is above the village of Peyia in an exclusive section of very upmarket villas. We purchased the site loving its position on the hillside, and then set about with our builder developing the site. We wanted privacy, great views but also relative closeness to the main tourist areas- restaurants, beach etc. There are no flats or apartments in the area and this attracted us since most of the properties had been purchased not by investors primarily but by people who have fallen in love with the area.

What makes this villa unique

The location is everything and when you arrive one really feels that one has got away. The villa is also very nicely finished but very usable and homely. The property is positioned on a hillside south facing towards the coastline and has fantastic view out towards the bay. The pool is a good size for a small group or family, and is very well managed by a local management team of Carrie and Rod. You can get down to the village of Peyia by walking or by car and there are supermarkets there as well as a bakers, butchers and fish monger, as well as in nearby Chlorakas.

We have stayed in a few villas in the local area, this property is one of the better. The views are fantastic. Suitated in a mainly residential area it's everything you require for a relaxing holiday. Very spacious and comfortable with all bedrooms having a bathroom and comfortable beds. There are several areas around the pool for sunbathing and a covered terrace to chill out of the heat of the day. Altogether just what you need for a wonderful holiday. Would advise car hire is necessary. May 2012

Notes on accommodation: This is a private villa and is presented as so. It is perfect for a larger group or a family. It is in a great location close the attractive village of Peyia which in turn is within 3km of Coral Bay, with its sandy beach. A great area to visit as a whole and you are perfectly positioned to take advantage of all the tourist attractions around the Paphos area. You are close to the historic sites including the Roman mosaics, and the famous Tombs of the Kings. Both Paphos and Coral Bay have many water sports activities available, as well as some great beaches. To the north - a short 25 min drive will take you to the Polis area. Latchi ( Latsi) is particularly worth visiting if you are interested in hiring boats, water skiing etc- and also has a pretty harbour. Peyia is a pretty village located on the hill above Coral Bay and has a real village vibe. Not overdeveloped, you are able to enjoy great traditional food in local tavernas. Peyia Tavern is particularly good. Outside: The main garden area is surrounding the 8m by 4m kidney shaped pool, and has been fully planted out. The pool is lit at night and of course cleaned during your stay. It also has a shower on the poolside. A barbecue is provided on the higher patio level close to the outside table and chairs. You are not overlooked to either side since the private villas are positioned to retain privacy. Utility Room: All necessary cleaning equipment is provided in the cupboard in the kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens are provided. A mid clean is under taken for a 2 week stay and a 2nd clean for a 3 week stay. Cleaning equipment is also provided. The pool is cleaned on a weekly basis. Pool towels are also provided Other: In the lower level with access through French windows to the garden area is the Games Room. In this room you will find a Table Tennis Table, Table Football and small snooker table.

Lovely location weather and views. Very well equiped accomodation clean and everything you would need for a lovely holiday. lots of lovely comfy out door seating in shade or sun. Lovely local reaonable priced restaurants a sort drive away. I would recommend this property to families and friends, can easily accomodate two families or lovely for a girlie break with friends. Fantastic customer service.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Coral Bay offers the best sandy beaches locally and are accessible easily by car from the villa- within 5km. Latchi Harbour is within 20-25mins drive to the north where you can organise boat activities at the harbour front.

Travel:

The villa is situated within 40 mins drive of Paphos International airport. It is easy to get flights to Paphos all year round from all UK airports and others in Europe, with both Easyjet and Jet2 offering flights. Car hire is recommended in order to fully enjoy the ample shopping and night life available in Peyia (5 minutes by car), Coral Bay (10 minutes by car), and Paphos Town Center (20 minutes by car). All three offer a wide selection of water sports, shopping and restaurants.
