A peaceful Villa apartment occupying the ground floor of a private villa, set in superb lawned gardens and private exclusive swimming pool. Adjacent to the 9th fairway and a mere 450 yards to Javea Golf Clubs driving range, club house with its excellent restaurant and tennis courts. There are superb views of the Montgo and surrounding mountains. Guests can relax by the pool or read in a shady spot in the garden. If you are not into golf or tennis then you can take a walk through the surrounding woods or vineyards and along the paths and lanes that stretch away behind the villa/apartment.

About Barbara and Tony

Barbara and Tony are a couple who live in Spain all year round. Although we live in a completely separate part of the Villa we can still be on hand to help with any queries This is our 7th year with Owners Direct so we are always trying to improve things. We spend most of our time out and about so any guests will see very little of us, but we still be on hand if required.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is located a 10 minutes drive from Javea. The town is split into 3 parts. The Arenal beach is best known for its clean Blue Flag sandy beach with childrens play areas and many sea front restaurants. The Port is still a working harbour where you can watch the locally caught fish being landed as well as a yacht marina. It to has superb waterfront restaurants overlooking the bay. The Old Town of Javea is unspoilt with picturesque streets, churches indoor market and museum.

Travel:

Both Alicante and Valencia airports are about 1 hours drive away. Both have good motorway connections to the E15/AP7 motorway. Public transport is not good but most car hire companies offer a pick up/drop off service at the airport. We recommend the use of a hire car.

Distances:

The village of Benitachell with its supermarket is just 3 minutes drive away but can be walked in 15 minutes. It also has an indoor heated swimming pool for guests considering a winter holiday. In the summer months Benidorm is a 30 minute drive with its water park, theme park, safari park, indoor shopping complex and Benidorm Palace for shows and a meal.

Notes:
Outside: The apartment has its own gated driveway with your own private access, allowing you to come and go as you please. Your private swimming pool has sun loungers, as does your own secluded garden and patio. There is a gas barbecue provided. Utility Room: Washing machine in separate laundry room Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided with the apartment cleaned before arrival. The towels and linen are changed weekly with a light clean. For stays longer than 2 weeks a full clean can be arranged on a fortnightly basis. Other: In winter and on those rare cold evenings there are 5 central heating radiators throughout the apartment at no extra cost.

Peace and Relaxation

My wife and I have just spent a week in this villa apartment, and had the most relaxing time. Barbara and Tony, the English owners of this villa, live upstairs; they are there for help, and advice, if needed, but otherwise we were unaware they were there. They have their own garden and pool on the other side of the villa, so the garden and pool advertised, and photographed, are for the sole use of guests.

The villa is on a small, quiet, urbanisation next to a golf club. Beautiful views all round, especially towards the Montgo mountain. The garden is very private, and has a lovely pool. There is a gas barbecue, and a nice outside eating area with table and chairs. The garden is well cared for with a range of exotic plants and shrubs. We spent our first day just in the garden, relaxing, sunbathing and reading - beautiful. The golf club also has a good restaurant, which is handy if you only want to walk down the road for a meal.

The apartment is compact, but ideal for 2 to 4 adults, with two double bedrooms. Not practical for active children as far too quiet on the urbanisation. There is a very well equipped kitchen, and a comfortable lounge. WiFi is available, and Sky TV with the main UK channels, if you want to watch the TV! Also a washing machine. There is no dishwasher, but this was not a problem for the two of us.

There are a number of supermarkets not too far away, so shopping is not a problem.

The villa is located on the outskirts of Benitachell, and is ideally located for exploring the region. We visited Altea, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, and Denia, all within easy reach. There are excellent sandy beaches at Javea, Arenal, and at Moraira.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just what we needed, peace and quiet. Loved the area, and will hopefully be returning in the future. Would be quite happy just to sit in the garden reading, and swimming for a weeks total relaxation.

I have not awarded 5 stars as no air con, although I understand the owners are considering this, and also no dishwasher. I emphasise, this was not an issue for us. There are a number of electric fans in the apartment and these were adequate for our needs, and, as already advised, a dishwasher was not necessary for us either. However, we were not looking for a 5 star apartment, but I appreciate others would expect these things for 5 stars.
