Apartment in Llafranc, Costa Brava, Spain - Peaceful Location Sitting On The Hillside Above Llafranc, Only 10 Mins Walk To The Beach (2 By Car!)

This is a rare opportunity to find such a superb modern apartment to rent in a beautiful part of the world. Approximately 120 square metres in total its also rare to find such a large apartment offering plenty of space for up to 7 guests in 4 bedrooms. Two of the rooms are en-suite whilst the other 2 share a luxurious family bathroom with shower, bidet, bath, heated towel rail and WC.

In 2016 we refurnished the apartment with very stylish and expensive new furniture and bought really comfortable quality new mattresses for all the beds.

The apartment block itself only has 6 residential units so a real sense of pride prevails.

The apartment is immaculately maintained by our local agent, Pere.

About The Owner

I am a 46 year old businessman living in the north of England. 5 years ago we totally refurbished this apartment at considerable expense for the benefit of our family only.

To help with the growing burden of school fees I have finally succumbed to the idea of letting out this 5 star apartment.

We just hope that the people lucky enough to rent out this apartment will give it the love and care we have given it over the past 5 years.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2004

Why The Owner chose Baix Emporda

One visit to Llafranc and you will be hooked! Somehow the Costa Brava is the least well known of all the Spanish Costas undeservedly so. Costa Brava translated means "rugged coast" and this aptly describes this fabulous part of the world with its countless small bays and beaches, fishing ports. Not a "resort" in sight it proudly protects its cultural heritage.

Llafranc oozes understated style and proper casual living.

What makes this apartment unique

We absolutely love visiting the apartment in all seasons. as much as we love the open doors and windows in the summer we equally love curling up with a glass of wine with the heating on in the winter looking out to sea. It's a view you can never tire of.

Outside: The property has communal gardens and a shared pool (there are only 6 apartments in the block). Our apartment is unique amongst the others by having its own private terrace suitable for al fresco eating and sunbathing! There is a large dining table outdoors which when extended can seat at least 10! Utility Room: Combined washing machine and tumble dryer. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels provided. Guests must bring own beach towels. Bedlinen is provided. Other: Large balcony areas surround the front of the apartment with a large alfresco terrace for dining with views over the bay of Llafranc. Steps leading off the terrace give immediate access to the swimming pool.

A wonderful place

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this apartment at the end of the season. The apartment and the location were gorgeous in late autumn, I can only imagine that they are spectacular in the summer. Llafranc was everything we'd hoped for; beautiful beach, lovely little town that had a great choice of cafes and restaurants, pretty walks around to the next beach or along the headland. The apartment itself exceeded expectations - everything was catered for and was top drawer with every comfort thought of. The layout works exceptionally well with plenty of private bedroom/bathroom space combined with a great, spacious open plan living/dining kitchen area that is very sociable (even for the cook) and benefits from truly wonderful views of the coastline. We loved having breakfast with dreamy views out to sea. Whilst it was too cold for us to use the pool during our stay, the great layout would mean that you could happily keep an eye on swimmers either from the lounge area, terrace or the pool area itself. A really wonderful apartment in a great location - very helpful and communicative owner too - thank you Tim! My only wish is that we are able return - I don't often say that about a holiday location!
