Apartment in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Comfortable Apartment in a Peaceful Location. Only 3 min walk to Beach. Bus stop, Bar/Cafe 2 min

On a quiet complex of privately owned apartments, set in mature gardens, shared pool, gym and tennis court. This ground floor apartment is in the most secluded, tranquil part of the complex. With two internal bedrooms - 1 twin and 1 double, kitchen, and large lounge/diner. Comfortable furniture, and more than ample storage for four people. To the front, off of the lounge/diner, is a separate door and full width patio doors leading into a pretty, well planted, private garden, including a patio with furniture. Surrounding the garden is an open, fenced and gated pergola. The apartment also has the added benefit of underused, secure gated steps, directly opposite, leading to the side street - Has the feel of a private entrance. Main entrance to complex has a ramp for wheelchairs etc. Below is Wifi access and gym. The large pool and children's pool is in the centre of the complex. Gym and tennis court cannot be seen from very pretty, well maintained, fenced, quiet pool area.

Renters Beware!!

This unit is tired, dated and unclean! The beds are old and uncomfortable particularly long term, the kitchen is so ill equipped we had to buy things and/or borrow from neighbours. The bathroom has mildew in the shower and the towel rings are rusty. We were told there had recently been water damage to he kitchen but found out it had happened months before and never been fixed.

Our big issue is that we found out from renters in identical units that we paid more than double what they did. We emailed the owner about the cost on numerous occasions...she failed to address the issue. This owner has no idea what "customer service" is. Once she's received payment she doesn't care! Shame on you!

Very clean comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. in a quiet area of complex. No view but pleasant patio and garden.

Host welcoming and available for any queries via email. .

Corralejo Main Street, port and good choice of restaurants about 30 minute pleasant stroll either via shops or beach. Dunes very near in opposite direction.

Ate in few nights. Supermarket and local shopping centre near apartment. Slightly limited with no oven and serving bowls for salad etc. Barbeques not allowed.

Outside area great for eating out and welcome shade if too hot in sun. Complex and Pool good with plenty of sun beds. Internet access in area with tables and chairs by gym.

An enjoyable week away and certainly will rent apartment again.

Local quiet beach: 3min walk. National park: 2min walk. Dunes area start: 7min walk. Wide Saharan type dunes: 30min walk or short bus ride from bus stop 3mins from apartment. Town centre beaches: 20min walk, or stroll along the unbroken, varied coastline. Continue on for 5min to harbour area and old town. Corralejo has an awesome coastline. A slow stroll from the dunes in the south to the Bristol area, past the harbour to the north (a surfers favourite) is a must. Watersports heaven!


Fuerteventura airport approx 20 miles. There's a bus service (change once). Hopper busses bookable door-to-door. Plenty of taxis, hire a car/jeep at airport/in town. Well marked route. Car not necessary to enjoy Corralejo. If you do hire, I recommend a jeep: Breathtaking views, on near empty roads, including great off-roading, or day trip: Start early, east coast, south. Visit Castillo, Pozo Negro, zoo, Sotovento. Home via equally scenic western side. Round trip appx 135miles. Fuel reasonable. Literally hundreds of bars/ restaurants.


Many towns, village, beaches, and places of interest to visit - All a pleasant driving experience, on very good, clearly marked, near empty roads., With little or no traffic lights! Buses are frequent, inexpensive, and have regular interlinking services to main towns. By road, the island is over 85miles long, and more than 13miles at widest point.

Further Details:

Siesta is generally observed on the Island: closing for lunch, then reopening arount 5pm, though many banks and offices do not open in the evening. Buy drinking water in shops; local water is desalinated. Buy UHT milk. Bus services are good and a comfortable, enjoyable experience. Taxis are reasonable and abundant but ask the destination price before getting in - Around 2.70 euros. Supermarket, shops/v good craft market in nearby shopping centre. Best for choice of restaurants/shops/bars in main street and side roads, in town. The water park is at the south end of town, 15min walk from apartment. A frequent ferry service to Lanzarote, taking 40mins, operates from the harbour, or take the glass bottomed boat., Or day trip to Lobos Island. There are beach bars/restaurants along the town beaches. Bus service, or 15min drive to El Cotillo, on the West coast is a must, but to really appreciate the location, hire a jeep or book a 4hr off road buggy trip, around the amazing north west coastline, and discover many unexpected bays and lagoons. With kite surfing on the flat area of dunes, surfing near the harbour, and along the west coast, hang gliding in Cotillo and Sotovento, and board sailing in Sotovento, there is plenty for the adventurous and spectators alike. There is also a regular market. There is a 'Mini Train' (wally trolley) trip which operates from the centre of town, that provides a basic, round trip tour of Corralejo, which can be useful in getting your bearings. All eating tastes are catered for. For carnivores, I personally recommend Poco Loco's, in the middle of the main street. Veg is not a priority, and very basic; order meat. There is live music in many cafes/bars. At end of main street, in the old town there is the music square, surrounded by bars/eateries.

There is a booking deposit of £100, which becomes a security deposit, which is refundable after your return form your holiday. The apartment is considered booked on clearance of booking deposit. The total price of your rental is due two calendar months before your arrival date. Many guests wish to overstay - If the apartment is available, we can negotiate that. Don't be afraid to ask.
This is a NO SMOKING apartment, though you may smoke in the garden, away from the apartment and other guests.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible, as there are now many more flights to the Island. You are expected to vacate your apartment before 10am on departure day., And you may occupy after 2pm on arrival day. This is to enable servicing between guest rentals.

Notes on prices:
Prices same all year round @ £295pw
Price per night £50, minimum stay 4 nights. Longer than 2 weeks stay, negotiable price. Same prices during school holidays. There is no extra charge for a child requiring a travel cot, which will be supplied, free of charge. Can provide an inflatable bed for one extra paying guest. Water and electric are included in the price of rental, but we do ask guests not to be wasteful, as we like to keep rental prices reasonable. There is a £100 refundable booking/security deposit, on top of the total price. Refundable after you check out, on satisfactory inspection of apartment. NOTE: Bed linen for travel cot is not provided.

  • Notes on accommodation: Location: Quiet residential area; not suitable for partying. No pets allowed. Smoking NOT allowed inside apartment, or in communal areas. There are ashtrays which may be used in the private garden only, and well away from the apartment entrance, and other guests. Cot(own linen)/highchair provided. Parking available in side street. Outside: To the front of the apartment there is a peaceful, gated, private garden: tastefully planted, Canarian style, including mature trees. There is also a patio area with patio furniture. Apartment is located in the most secluded area of a tranquil, well kept complex. There are also many communal areas: wifi, large pool, gym, tennis court, and lovely mature gardens. There are secure, gated entrances to the complex, one of which is very conveniently near to the apartment. Parking is allowed on the road, just up a flight of steps from the apartment, for those not needing to use the ramp. The pool area is never crowded, even in mid summer. For tennis, you will need your own racquets. The children's pool is very popular. Pool fenced for safety. B-B-Q's not allowed. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly change of linen. Towels, bed linen, tea towels, and beach/pool towels are provided. There is a washing machine, airer, iron & ironing board for personal laundry, plus a broom, mop and bucket etc. Apartment is cleaned before your arrival.
