Apartment in Parque de Corcovada, Albufeira, Central Algarve - Parque De Corcovada Is Situated A Short Walk From The Strip With Bars And Restaurants

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment to comfortably sleep 4 people with superior fold away beds with mattresses to sleep a further 2 persons in the lounge if necessary. There is an en-suite with toilet, bath/shower, sink and bidet attached to the main bedroom and a separate toilet/shower bathroom adjacent to the second bedroom. The lounge contains two sofas, one to seat 3 and the other 2 people. The television has all UK channels and converts to a smart TV for emails etc with a very good Wi-Fi system. There is also a DVD player which may be useful to entertain young children. The kitchen is fully furnished with all crockery and utensils which may be needed and has a table with 6 chairs. The large terrace which contains a glass table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers overlooks both the children's pool and main pool.

We had a lovely holiday, the apartment has everything that you need, it was cleaned ready for us and well maintained.Pool was just outside,,lovely and peacefull. Good customer care was provided from the minute we booked this apartment. I would recomemend this property to anyone that likes a lovely aparment with everything in it that makes your holiday complete. The only down side was the state of the pavements they are awful, too high, no flat kerbs to crossover, parents were lifting pushchairs so they could get on, not suitable for a dissabled person on a motability scooter or wheelchair, ,a lot of the resturants had steps upto them again not suitable no ramp access . Portugal needs to be more dissabled friendly.

Fantastic apartment - already planning return visit!

Property's facilities are excellent - two bathrooms with hairdryers in each one. Kitchen cooking facilities are brilliant - has everything and more that you need. Could easily make a Sunday dinner if need too all the saucepans utensils and good oven there. Even a dishwasher!

Apartment very secure and my 3 year old twins were very safe in the apartment and complex.

Had a fantastic holiday and hope to return next year...

THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY EVER ♡♡♡

I would like to thank Hazel and Lawrence for a fantastic apartment for me and my family to stay in. My girls had a ball and are looking to go back next year only it has to be longer. The apartment was fantastic as I could make the family meals and still be able to watch the girls at the pool. I was hands down the best holiday we have been on. A thousand thanks and will be in touch shortly to rebook.

Excellent apartment, fantastic location, 5*

I don't normally post holiday reviews but had to comment on the fantastic holiday my husband, 3 children and I experienced on our first visit to Portugal and in particular our stay in this fabulous apartment - I hated to come home ! We loved everything about the area (except for the condition of the pavements which are all treacherous!); the 30'+ temp, the warm evening breeze, lovely food reasonably priced, the friendly & hospitable locals, family atmosphere, the Oldtown -there wasn't a thing to dislike!

The apartment was very clean, large and spacious and our family (incl 9,14,& 16 yr olds) never got 'cabin fever' which has happened us in other apts!.

It is one of the best situated in the apt block, 30 steps to the pool, I counted !

We opened the patio doors in the morning and only closed them at bedtime or when going out, it really was like living in/outdoors and it was great not having to lock up to go to the pool. The patio was a real suntrap in the mornings, shaded in the afternoon which was lovely if you wanted a break from the strong sun.

9yr old played football on the grass, teens were happy with the good wifi coverage and smart tv. Pool was always fun and great atmosphere around it. 30 mins comfortable walk to Oldtown, taxi home <€7, 10 mins to Strip - worth a visit. Oura Beach, 20 mins. Supermarkets & some lovely good value restaurants nearby on road leading to beach. Defnitely don't need a car.

What topped it all was being in Oldtown the night Portugal won Euro 2016. The atmosphere was electric - being part of the celebrations will be a lovely family memory to have in years to come.

Negatives ?? It wasn't one for me, but only one UK charger/adapter so the iphones/ipods had to wait in a q to get charged!!

Would love to return to Albuferia again and would def check availability of this apt if we do.

Superb!

Excellent apartments and perfect for a young family like us, as it was ground floor and right next to the pool. We could still do our cooking/making snacks while watching the kids play happily right next to us. So It was great not having to pack everything up & lock up the apartment just to go to the pool for the day - we had everything on our doorstep, yet still private with a small dividing wall & little bushes around the patio. We were very impressed with how secure the apartments were as all the doors/windows had automatic shutters you close down when you go out and going to bed. The pools were great and cleaned regularly. We didn't know what to expect not having stayed in apartments but everything we needed was there for cooking and cleaning and it was spotless, Tv with all the channels which thd kids loved & in a nice quiet location. Just across the road from the complex is the dubliner bar/restaurant which does amazing food! So handy if you dont want to go far, or somewhere handy to end the evening as its so close. Also has a little park out the back, - perfect for a cheeky cocktail while the kids are busy! Can't fault the place. We are definitely planning on going back as soon as possible! Perfect 1st family holiday for us!

A delightful apartment

My husband (who has limited mobility) and I booked this spacious apartment for a long winter break. We were delighted with the apartment, it was exactly as described on the website, and had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen, good wi fi and more TV channels than I have ever seen.

Parking is available outside the front of the apartment and the pools are opposite the patio opening off the kitchen and living room. Electric window shutters mean the apartment is very secure.

Hazel was very helpful and able to answer all my many questions. Marta who manages the apartment in Albufeira was also very helpful and always available when needed.

Restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance.

I would highly recommend Hazel's apartment and we are returning for a second stay in May.

Location

From the Owner

The Algarve is our favourite place to be even in the winter time. The people are so friendly and helpful and most speak very good English. Cleanliness in the restaurants / bars are well above standard for holiday resorts and we very rarely find grubby/dirty amenities. Our long term plan will be to spend the winter months at our apartment when we finally retire so that we can escape the cold and wet weather of Northern Ireland.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro at 38 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Praira de Santa Eulalia at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Zoo Marine is located a 15 minute taxi/car ride from the apartment and is a very popular day out for families. It has many shows including dolphins, tropical birds and sea lions. There are also lakes, gardens, swimming pools and amusements.

The Aqua Park is also situated within a short distance from Parque de Corcovada.

Coast/Beach:

The closest beaches to Parque de Corcovada are Praia de Santa Eulalia or Praia da Oura which are 1km away. There are also beaches located at the Old Town of Albufeira.

Travel:

Faro Airport is a 40 minute drive. Airport transfers can be arranged at an approximate cost of 60 euros return for up to 4 people.
