The villa called the Oasis house, is the best of the best in the marvelous little village called El Sauzal. Everything has been designed to enjoy you most beautiful holiday - for big and small. BBQ and covered terrace to enjoy delicious grills or start the day with a wonderful breakfast outside in our garden, enjoy the tranquility, peace and nature which surrounds you. Your eyes will laugh and your heart will sing from what you will experience being in our Oasis House and sub-tropical garden. Private 24h heated swimming pool, for the pleasure and relaxation in our most beautiful sub-tropical garden, designed to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade under our wonderful palm trees. Enjoy the most amazing views we have of the coastline, the sea and the mountain Teide, Puerto from the distance and even the sunset of the island La Palma. All these three views together, the mountain Teide, the coast line and the sea are rare to get on the island.

Notes on accommodation: All of our rooms, are spacious, have enough closet room, beautifully and uniquely decorated, have amazing views and are abundant of sun light. You will love them all. One of our rooms has also a cot, toys and changing table and if needed more children beds. Outside: The area where our oasis house is placed, is still right in the centre of everything. It is located in El Sauzal, 180m above sea-level. Everything you need for your most convenient, and still being isolated away from noises and humanity, everything you can reach within 5 - 8 minutes drive. Supermarket, farmer's market, shops, bars, restaurants, some beaches, golf area and some villages like La Orotava, and towns, like Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz and La Laguna being just a short drive (15-30 minutes) away from our house. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: We provide linen and towels, changed weekly. checking in time is no later then 4pm, and checking out time is no later then 10am. All depends if we have guests before/after

Simply Wonderful

“Oasis” is a pure delight. The house itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and artistically decorated. Moreover the views from all the rooms and the garden are simply spectacular. We have been to Tenerife several times and although accustomed to wonderful views of both mountains and ocean, we nevertheless felt privileged to feast our eyes on the panorama offered from this property. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, including a large refrigerator and freezer. The Wi-Fi worked very well, although the signal was weak from the upstairs master bedroom (perhaps the only minor “problem”). Although we were unlucky with largely chilly weather, we made good use of the heated swimming pool which kept the promised temperature. What might appear to be a steep road in and out need not worry. The local road and driveway are all well-paved, more than amply wide, and very easily navigated. Visitors will find an abundance of local travel tips and info. The local supermarket is well stocked; it is also possible within 20 minutes to drive to the large Martianaz shopping area and larger supermarket in Puerto de la Cruz, which offers reasonable parking, also while visiting the city. For a brisk daily walk, the garden door by the pool leads to a path through some bushes to the paved road down to the shore. Down below, the several kilometer restored walking paths along the rocky shore are wonderful. This slightly overweight 65-year-old managed the trek up and down several times without heart failure or discomfort. Finally, on a small section of balcony, accessible from the main bathroom and hidden from outside view by a wall of flowers, an outdoor shower with ample hot water provides a perfect means for washing away stress, tension, or the stiffness from a long hike in the mountains. Both the owner and the local caretaker are friendly and responsive. The safety/damage deposit was promptly returned. I can strongly recommend a stay at Oasis House.

Location

Special interest holidays:

It is the perfect place to have complete tranquility, your hideaway to write, read or paint.

Tenerife is for its black sand very known for the healing effects of the heat, as the black sand restores the sun heat longer and if laying on it, you will notice the warms going very deep into your body.

Coast/Beach:

Our house is adjacent on a natural protected area on the coast, which you can enter through our garden gate and allows you to take marvelous walks and swim in the sea. It will take you only 20 minutes to walk down through the wonderful protected aria. Please be aware, that the ocean on a island can be very dangerous, due to the movement.

Travel:

North airport Los Rodeos, just 15 minutes drive away. South airport, Reina Sofia 45 min away.

Further Details:

Centrally located. 180m above sea-level. Everything you need is conveniently placed, yet, isolated away from noises and humanity. Everything is within an 8 minute drive. Supermarket, farmer's market, shops, bars, restaurants, some beaches, golf area and some villages like La Orotava, and towns, like Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz and La Laguna (World heritage site by UNESCO) being just (15-30 minutes) a short drive away.
