Surrounded by farmland, this single gite is in a peaceful location with views to the Roche du Feu. The house is detached and fully equipped for 4- 6 people, with 3 bedrooms, large kitchen and lounge, opening onto a patio with garden furniture, barbeque, and the large garden with space for badminton, or kicking a ball around. A small supermarket, and post office are available in St.Thois (3 km). Chateauneuf du Faou (9.7 km) has two large supermarkets, a regular outdoor market, shops, bars and restaurants; there is also a very pleasant swimming pool, tennis courts, with various water activities on the Canal/ River Aulne. Beaches -North, south and west, are easily reached in 30 minutes- 1 hour. Top quality golf courses at Benodet, Fouesnant, and Brest are accessible within 40 minutes. The historic towns of Quimper, Locronan, Douarnenez, Chateaulin, Concarneau, Huelgoat, Morlaix are 40 mins away. Home grown fresh fruit and vegetables available in season.

Le séjour que nous avons passé a été très agréable : notre hôte a été d'une grande gentillesse et son accueil des plus chaleureux. La maison, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et fonctionnelle, et le jardin aux mille fleurs sont un véritable paradis ! Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de ces quinze jours dans la campagne bretonne.

North, west and south coastal beaches easily accessible by car 30 minutes - 1 hour.


Roscoff port 1 hour 15 mins, St.Malo 2 hours 30 mins. Use of a car is essential.

Airports at Brest (1 hour), Quimper (40 mins), Dinard (2 hours)


Chateauneuf du Faou 9.7km. Quimper, Locronan, Concarneau, Pontaven, Douarnenez, Chateaulin, Huelgoat, Morlaix all within 40-45 mins.

Further Details:

The area has a wealth of easy walks and cycle routes including the canal tow path, with slightly more demanding Roche du Feu (10 Km) and Menez Hom (20 Km) accessible. Brest with its port and Oceanopolis, Roscoff with its fishing port, bustling market and tropical garden are each 1 hour away. Pont Aven with its art museum, galleries and pretty estuary is 40 mins.
