About the property

Overlooking Torrox white village Costa del Sol

The villa situated in the countryside near to Torrox Pueblo.(1.6 kls) It enjoys a peaceful setting with fantastic views towards the Almijara mountain range, and close enough to find the excitement of the coast.The coast (costa) is approximately 6 kilometers away by road,there is a promenade which has around 40/45 eating places,lovely to strole along have a beer and people watch,a taxi service is available and there is a bus service to the village and back to the costa,,taxi available also . Much closer is our beautiful friendly village there are several small but adequate supermarkets with fresh produce daily,closed Sunday except bread /cake shop untill 4pm there are bars and nice restaurants with a center fountain where children play in the warmer nights.

about 10 kilometers is Nerja a well known tourist centre with lots of safe walking and more shops than you can shake a stick at ,and the choice for eating is excellent for young and old rich or not so.Children are welcome in all of bars and restaurants except where gambling takes place.

My wife and I fell in love with Torrox while visiting friends in 1996 and we were introduced to this villa which was for sale and eventually purchased it. We have spent so many excellent times with friends (some made here) and visiting friends and family.When we retired we decided to do some travelling to Canada, America, cruising and such, but still return home here.

There is so much to see and do ,places of great interest beautiful country so close with wonderful lakes.

Superb break with lovely hosts

We had an excellent time during our 12 day stay. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and the terrace area is excellent for the morning sun and private wth fantastic views. It is an easy drive up the track to tranquility and bliss and taxis drive up regularly from Torrox about 5 to 10 minutes away. The pool is warm and clean and the surrounding area is private and secluded with the sun until late in the evening.The best part however is that you get to meet David and Janet, 2 of the nicest and most friendly but discreet people you could hope to meet.We feel we have made new and valued friends and will be seeing them again next year.

We Really Enjoyed It

Second year for us. Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Excellent views. Relaxing however if you want to appreciate the surrounding areas there is plenty to do. Torrox is a beautiful town. Pleny of places to eat & not expensive. The beach is beautiful especially when you drive towards Nerja. What can I say we will be going again.

There is local shops in the village where all basic items are available. For larger supermarkets there are 4 within 500 metres of each on the Torrox costa (coast)the village is 2 k's the coast 6k's.
