Self catering well equipped 1 bedroom apartment, sleeps 2/4 people. 'Villa da Praia' is a luxurious private, secure, gated complex. It is in an excellent location 300 metres from the beach, 3 mins walk to Alvor centre. It's location provides easy access to a number of top golf courses. The complex has a lovely garden area, which surrounds the 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children.

About Sandra Saville

We are a fifty something couple who fell in love with Alvor several years ago. We now have our own apartment there and would love for you to stay there and see the many delights of Alvor and hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

The good supply of towels-particularly the big bath sheets

The big balcony- great for sitting out for sun bathing and eating, and the views-especially the sun sets, the pool and the sea.

Notes on accommodation: Our apartment is non-smoking and no pets. Personal insurance during your stay is your responsibility. Outside: Two communal pools, one good size for adults and one for children. Apartment is set within a secure private complex with attractive well maintained gardens. Outdoor showers, bathroom facilities adjacent to the swimming pool area. Sun loungers are available poolside and there is a sun umbrella for use round the pool. Large balcony gets the sun from lunchtime till sunset all year round. It overlooks the lovely garden area, which surrounds the 2 swimming pools and has great sea views. Has table and 4 chairs. Secure parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned and towels and linen changed weekly during high season. Other: Balcony with table and 4 chairs. Overlooks pool and has a great sea view.

Coast/Beach:

Alvor’s wonderful sandy beach is 4km long, unspoilt and amongst the best in the world and only 300m from our apartment. It has about half a dozen well placed beach bar/restaurants. Water sports are available at the quite end of the beach and kite surfing is very popular.

Travel:

Faro Airport is a 45 mins drive to Alvor. We can advise on transport to and from the airport on request.

Distances:

300 metres to beach, 3 minutes walk to Alvor centre with bars and restaurants, 15 mins drive to the water park Slide and Splash, 25 mins drive to the fabulous Oceanic Park Zoo Marine, a short taxi ride from nearby Praia de Rocha (we have walked this), 10 mins drive to Portimao and 15 mins drive to Lagos which both have great shopping areas with designer shops and for golf lovers is in close proximity to 12 different golf courses all within 30 mins drive.

Further Details:

Sports: tennis in town, water sports, water park, golf less than 15 mins walk, fishing.

Great for walking holidays, beach relaxation, a winter sun break, good night life (fabulous restaurants and a couple of Alvor centre bars have great live bands). Cycling holidays.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking to confirm reservation. With the balance of 75% to be paid 6 weeks before arrival unless by prior agreement. Payment is by cheque, or bank transfer. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation requests at our own discretion.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is flexible. Check in is after 14:00 hrs on arrival day, and check out is before 10:00. Other arrangements are possible if no other guests are coming in/going out the same day. Our property manager will meet you on arrival.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week/per night in pounds. Deposits are non refundable if your reservation is cancelled. Special offers for long term lets during winter and spring.
