Our beautiful and spacious villa / townhouse is situated in a safe and peaceful location just a short stroll to the stunning beach, restaurants and cafes / bars. Relax by your own private pool in the back garden, soaking up the sun. There are 3 large bedrooms, dining area, lounge area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Garage and ample parking to the front. Surrounded by historical places of interest such as Obidos and Alcobaca. Other beautiful beaches within close driving distance with various water sports available.

Why The Owner chose São Martinho do Porto

We decided to buy on the Silver Coast for it's authenticity and value for money. When we first visited the area and drove in to Sao Martinho do Porto to view the villa we fell in love with the place. We knew then that even if the villa fell through we would be buying a property there. Everything about the place is idyllic from the beautiful and tranquil bay with it's golden beach to the gorgeously warm (but not too hot) climate. The villa itself is so spacious and the surrounding area peaceful. We love sunbathing by our lovely private pool and then strolling down to the seafront at night to eat in one of the many excellent fresh fish restaurants. The steaks are really nice too! But if you fancy eating in then fire up the barbie, the supermarket is only a short walk away.

What makes this villa unique

There is something for everyone here. The villa itself is conveniently located with good access to all the necessary amenities you would want on holiday. The beach is 10 minutes away or 1 minute by car. But if you prefer then stay by the private pool and have fun splashing around in the sun. Not many villas of this size and price offer a private pool. The large supermarket is 2 minutes walk and there is now a petrol station there to fill up if you need to. If you are looking for a more active holiday then there are several great golf courses within 20 - 30 minutes drive. Alternatively, you can visit the Medieval towns of Obidos and Alcobaca for some real Portuguese culture. The food is mostly fresh fish, caught that day but there are other meat options too as well as Pasta/Pizza houses.

Your villa is great and we would definitely recommend it - the location is super being quite central. The town is welcoming and the people terrific. It is perfect whether you wish to explore further afeild or stick close and just enjoy the town. Notes:
Notes on accommodation: Outside there is seating with garden table and chairs underneath awning. Traditional Portuguese BBQ. The pool has an underwater light and the outside area is a real sun trap. Relaxing atmosphere in both the evening and day. This is a no smoking property. We are also fully licensed locally to rent. Outside: Private Pool, 7x3m with fantastic sun coverage during the day. There is a large patio area with dining table and chairs plus sun loungers including cushions all provided. Ample off road parking outside including private drive. Utility Room: Iron, ironing board, clothes airer and hair dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (not beach) and bed linen included, changed and cleaned weekly. Other: Separate dining area with large glass table and 6 chairs. Separate hallway and plenty of storage both downstairs and upstairs.

Well sited for Central Portugal and Coast

Plenty of room clean and we loved the pool. The supermarket is at the bottom of the road so walking distance if you want. We walked into town about 10 minutes as difficult to park in High season. Plenty of restaurants and its very cheap to eat out. Beach is great, clean sand which gently slopes into water. For sports I rented a bike from Silver coast in the next village. Navare has a small gym. Great for runs/bike. Highlight of the holiday was a tut tut tour of Lisbon. Expensive but a great laugh.

Everything about this place is great - there's loads of room, you can sunbathe either out the front or the back and the whole place is clean and tastily furnished. Location is great too, just a 10 minute walk to the delightful bay of Sao Martinho. The surrounding area is beautiful and there loads to do for everyone.Will definitely be returning!

Una gran estancia. Muy fiel al anuncio grandes habitaciones gran cocina gran salón y una piscina perfecta donde los peques se lo pasaron en grande. Esta muy cerca del supermercado y a diez minutos de la playa. Muchas cosas para ver y muchos sitios cerca para visitar. Sin duda un lugar a repetir.

Travel:

Lisbon airport only 1 hour drive away. Porto 2 hours drive and Faro 3 hours drive. Bus service 5 minutes from Lisbon airport, which will take you right to centre of Sao Martinho do Porto for under 10 euros. Local taxis also available.

Further Details:

Surrounded by historical places of interest such as Obidos and Alcobaca. Other beautiful beaches within close driving distance with various water sports available. There is a sailing school at nearby Foz do Arelho. There is also surfing at Foz do Arelho, Baleal and Peniche.
