Villa El Albergue is full of character and sits in approximately half an acre (2000 m2) of secluded immaculately tended gardens. The heated swimming pool and surrounding terraces are perfect for that get away holiday. The charming village of Mijas and the beaches of Los Boliches/Fuengirola are 5 minutes away. Numerous golf courses are nearby and within 10 minutes walk there is Lew Hoad's Tennis Club with Tennis and Padel courts, Restaurant, Bar, Pool and Wellness Club which is open to the public. Malaga International airport and Marbella/Puerto Banus are 20-25 minutes drive respectively.

Notes:
Outside: The villa sits in 1/2 an acre (2000m2) of immaculately maintained gardens. The front is laid out in terraces with numerous plants and trees. The rear is mainly laid to lawn with numerous lemon trees, a couple of olive trees and a magnificent fig tree. Please help yourself to the fruit whenever it is ripe (lemons virtually all year round and the figs from late August to the end of September). There is a heated, floodlit pool, 8m x 4m which is surrounded by terraces with an undercover eating area, bar with drinks fridge and built in BBQ. There are 6 very comfortable sunbeds, a couple of parasols and some side tables. The lounge and dining room both lead onto the pool terrace. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble drier, large clothes washing sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are supplied and are changed weekly. Beach towels are not supplied.

Excellent villa , went for the pool heating which was well worth the money , perfect location

Kids loved it , plenty of shade outside as well as being very secluded

Unbelievable villa !!

This villa is absolutely fabulous ! There is literally everything you could think of you need and more . We travelled as a family with our 2 year old son who absolutely loved everything about it. Graham the villa owner was so helpful and very informative and even gave us a courtesy call when we arrived to check everything was ok which we thought was a lovely touch . The welcome folder in the villa was very useful - even a page of where to find what keys you need for which door and where to find switches for lights you need , which was very helpful .

The highlight for us was obviously the outside pool. The gardens front and back are so beautiful and perfectly attended too. The master bedroom was also very beautiful, we were just a little disappointed as we couldn't open the door which lead onto the balcony as the gate was stuck .

The outside fridge in the bar area was very convenient to keep all our drinks cold (the fridge outside we found was much cooler than the one in the kitchen ) . There was even a pump in the outside area to be able to blow all our inflatables up adequately ;)

The TV inside was great with hundreds of English channels however we did find if watching it for a while the signal would go and the screen would just freeze but this was never much of an inconvenience.

The area itself is about 10 mins away from central fuengirola and Mijas (which we knew before we arrived because graham has told us in depth of how to get to these places ) . We didn't see this as a problem as we used the taxi app (all info on these are in the welcome folder) which was amazing - after ordering the taxi through the app the taxi would arrive about 5 mins later and then it is a 5/10 min taxi ride to fuengirola and same to Mijas .

This is a beautiful villa , and graham works very hard to make sure everything is just perfect . We will definitely be looking on returning in the future . Thankyou Graham and your team!

Very relaxing

El Albergue is a very spacious and well maintain Villa. I would recommend to this to anyone (but I won't because I want it for myself). We have rebooked for next year and cant wait to return.

Fab villa

We were looking for a villa near to Mijas where our friends would be staying at their apartment. This villa proved to be a great find, roughly half way between Mijas and Fuengirola, 5 minute drive to Lidl to stock up on food and drink.

The villa itself is surrounded by well tended gardens, plenty of room to park. The property is well secured too.

Facilities, furnishings (indoor and out) are great. Made use of the fridge inside the bar the BBQ and of course the pool. Lovely size and ideal for cooling off and chatting to friends on the plush sun beds located around the edge. Kitchen and utility rooms well equipped.

All in all a great property which helped make our holiday a fab one.

Have recommended the villa to others since our return.

A truly beautiful villa with boutique hotel feel

Everything about the villa was superb. The description and the photos do not do it justice. The layout and facilities are faultless. It was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Our favourite feature was the pool with it's 8 very comfortable sun loungers. The garden provided a welcoming and secluded oasis.

Graham and his management team were first class and so helpful.

When we could bear to drag ourselves away, we visited the white village of Mijas. It has great views, shops, restaurants, bars and donkey taxis.

We loved our holiday here and regard it as the best villa we have ever rented. For a property with all these features, it is very reasonably priced. We have already recommended it to friends.

Fabulous Villa with modern facilities.

This villa is fantastic. Located a 10 min drive from Mijas Pueblo and 10 mins from the beaches of Fuengirola and Benalmadena. Other towns are in easy reach along the costal roads.

Supermarkets and lots of restaurants are also a 10 min drive away. The inside is spacious with a very airy feel. The decor is modern, very clean with a quality finish to all rooms.

The kitchen is a good size with plenty of working space and storage, with a handy utility area at the back.

The outside space is great. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and the temperature was perfect . Our children (aged 4 and 6) loved it. There are 8 very comfortable sun beds, and 3 separate eating places , so what ever time of the day you can sit and relax in the sun.

Graham (the owner) responded quickly to any questions we had prior and during the holiday.

For us, (3 adults and 2 children - age 6 and 4) this villa and holiday was perfect.

The nearest beaches are about 5 minutes away by car.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Malaga which is about 20 minutes away. A car is pretty essential albeit the bus stop is only 150 metres away and goes regularly to Mijas and Fuengirola.

Distances:

Mijas and Fuengirola are both about 5 minutes away by car. Marbella is about 20 -25 minutes away depending on which route you take (motorway or coast road).

Further Details:

There are numerous restaurants within a short distance. A fairly comprehensive list can be obtained on request. For those 'Night-birds' there are many discos and places of entertainment. There are at least 30 golf courses within half an hours drive. Go-karting, Fuengirola aquapark and horse riding are all close by. The recently refurbished Lew Hoad's tennis club is 5 minutes walk away. For those staying during the winter, skiing in the Sierra Nevada is 2 hours drive. Clay pigeon shooting is available in Monda (30 minutes).
