Beautifully restored and converted watermill situated directly across the lane from the old railway route to Saundersfoot. Now part of the Sustrans network this provides a beautiful foot/cycle path to the beach approximately 15 minutes away. All the charm of it's years but with all the comforts of the current century - warm your feet on the soft stone floor with full underfloor central heating, or just kick back on the stressless recliners and enjoy that book!

About the Owner

We moved to Harvest Mill in 1998 and renovated & converted the three storey building creating what is now The Granary (Property Ref.W280) on the ground floor and our family home on the upper two floors. When Fairview (Property Ref.W206) came on the market 10 years later we were about ready for another project. It's located a short distance down the lane so we're usually on hand if you want any advice etc.

We know some customers will holiday elsewhere but we want to be sure that if you're in our area you'll want to come back and stay with us again.

Our Egypt Apartment (Property Ref. EG91) was created as a home from home in the sun. Whilst we're not able to be there in person to oversee the property we have a good network of support and contacts.

When we found the Mill it was love at first sight, despite the neglect it was clear this was our "destiny". Just across the road is the route of the old railway line to Saundersfoot. It provides a beautiful level and clean walk or cycle down to the beach & pub at Wiseman's Bridge. Pembrokeshire is a wonderful place to live with many varied landscapes and a variety of beaches from huge sandy bays to rugged rocky coves. We hope you choose to stay with us and experience our particular piece of heaven.

The underfloor heating means you'll be cosy and warm and the attention to detail will help you relax and enjoy your holiday. Traffic permitting we're just 2 hours drive from the Severn Crossing but it's like another world!

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: There is a coin operated laundry available next door if required. Outside: There is a small garden area gravelled and planted with a private seating area around one of the original mill stones. This area is suitable for barbecues. The outside area is not contained and the Mill leat runs under the building so some care needs to be taken in that area. Our own children have grown up here and this has not proved a problem for us. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels for use in the property are provided, cleaning before and after your stay is included. The property will be thoroughly prepared before you arrive we do ask that you aim to leave tidy prior to departure. Other: Direct access to drive - parking immediately by property.
