Beautiful first floor penthouse apartment with magnificent views and surrounded by mature gardens, with only a short walk to two superb beaches and coves. Fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There are excellent restaurants, bars and two small supermarket within walking distance. Apartment guests have access to a large communal pool and child’s paddling pool. The old town of Albufeira and its Marina, with shops, cafes, bars and water sports are just 5 minutes away by car. Golfers are spoilt for choice with many courses that can be easily accessed.

Water sports, angling and boat trips start from the marina and on Sao Rafael beach, one of the most beautiful on the Algarve, you can rent surf boards, stand-up paddle boards and pedal boats. The Zoomarine and Aqualand theme parks are about 15 minutes drive away. The Algarve Shopping mall in Guia is also about a 20 minute drive.

Our apartment has undoubtedly the best location on this beautiful,quiet development surrounded by colourful, mature gardens and within easy walking distance of lovely beaches and coves. It is an excellent location for many Golf Courses, a modern Marina is just a few minutes drive and there are very good restaurants offering locally caught fish and other specialities within walking distance.

What makes this apartment unique

A beautiful first floor 2 bedroom penthouse, just 150 metres from the beach and a beach bar/restaurant. Superb views of the sea and open heathland from the balcony, terrace, living room and bedrooms.

Anyone for 'sundowners' on our private south/south west facing terrace?

The en-suite bathroom was renewed at the end of 2014 and includes a large walk-in shower.

It is very well equipped, including broadband, comprehensive satellite TV, beach towels, childrens beach toys and two sets of golf clubs in case you would like to try one of the many fabulous golf courses.

It is not surprising that most of our guests return year after year.

Notes on accommodation: Although the apartment is south facing with sun on the terraces throughout the day the property is designed to remain cool in summer and electric radiators are fitted to each room for cooler winter months. High security patio doors and windows are fitted with insect screens and additional security shutters. A safe is provided for the storage of valuables. Airport transfers, discounted golf bookings and welcome food packs can be arranged on request. Outside: Mature gardens around the apartment with car parking close by. Short walk to the condominium's large communal pool, children's paddling pool and guest lounge. The private, main terrace is equipped with a large sun umbrella, table, chairs and two sun loungers. The smaller terrace/balcony is equipped with a table and two chairs. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron/ironing board, clothes drying rack and storage shelves. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen, towels and beach towels are provided and laundered weekly. Apartment cleaned weekly. Other: Storage room contains childrens beach toys, 'cool' bag, 2 sets of gentlemens golf clubs - right handed, high chair, travel cot and fold-up children's bed.

Perfect Family Holiday In A Beautiful Location

This was our first family holiday abroad and our first time travelling independently, booking flights and accommodation separately so we were slightly apprehensive as to whether it would be good as it sounded. We needn't have worried though. From the moment we enquired about the property our minds were put at ease. Tony and Anne had thought of everything - from providing swim towels so we didn't have the extra weight in our cases and beach mats and umbrellas so we didn't have to buy them, to a really thoughtful welcome pack containing all essentials including wine! The kitchen was a home from home with everything you could possibly need and with Tony and Anne living below the apartment for much of the year and Richard, the property manager also living locally on-site, anything we needed we could ask for.

The property was spotlessly clean and we loved the walk-in shower!

The location of the apartment couldn't be more perfect, being one of the last apartments before the stunning Playa des Arrifes beach, so literally a 5 minute walk. A further 5 minute walk took us over the stunning headland to Sao Rafael beach which was our personal favourite and a real treat st sunset. We also had access to a fantastic pool on-site, again about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Sun loungers were always available and the pool was clean and well-maintained.

Feeling a bit sad now we've returned to the UK but very happy that we found Tony and Anne's beautiful apartment because it gave us our first family holiday abroad and provided us with many memories that we'll treasure forever.

A most wonderful apartment

We have visited this property since 2012 spending 9 weeks in total and are going for 5 weeks this year (2016). The owners are most accommodating and very often accessible which can be a great benefit as they live downstairs most of the year. There is no need to shop on the first night as there is a welcome pack. There is advice on places to eat, visit, shop etc. with details sent out before travel including directions to and from the airport. Car parking is very accessible near to the apartment. The recommended restaurants are excellent including good quality fayre and those with tourist menus for as little as 8 euros including wine, starter, mains and sweets. The view is unparalleled whatever others on the complex advertise with 2 patios (one totally private), sun loungers and grassed gardens downstairs giving access to sunshine dawn to dusk!. The cleanliness is immaculate, with the apartment being recently redecorated internally and a refurbished bathroom installed. The kitchen is fully equipped and is short of nothing. There are two excellent beaches within 5 minutes walk. Buses are available at the top of the road. Beach towels and a parasol are provided so no need to take your own! I would, and do, recommend this apartment to family and friends and will continue to use it as long as we are physically able!

Große und schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage mit schönem Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist groß, hell und schön eingerichtet und vor allem auch in der Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht .

Sie liegt in einer ruhigen und grünen Anlage und der Blick von der Terrasse in Richtung Meer hat uns sehr begeistert.

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Entfernung zum Gemeinschaftspool, an dem auch immer viele Leute waren.

Coast/Beach:

The attractive rock and sandy cove, Dos Arrifes is less than a 5 min walk and the larger Sao Rafael beach is less than a 10 min walk. Both beaches have sun umbrellas and loungers for hire, bar/restaurants and lifeguards (high season only). There are also many other excellent coves and beaches within a short drive.

Travel:

Sao Rafael is a 40 minute drive from Faro Airport and 3 hours from Lisbon. Car hire is not essential but is recommended.

Distances:

The popular town of Albufiera is less than a 10 minute drive with shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs and an excellent sandy beach with watersports.

The Marina is a 20 minute walk with bars, cafes, restaurants and the starting point for a variety of boat trips along the attractive coast.

The fishing port of Portamao, Alvor, Monchique, Silves, Vilamoura, Faro and the border with Spain are all less than 1 hours drive.

Further Details:

Landscape and climate combine in the Central Algarve to create a region of all year appeal. Sandy beaches, cliffs, sheltered valleys full of orange groves, vineyards and olive trees, Moorish style houses, brightly painted sardine boats in the harbours and world class golf courses provide something for everyone.

There are two small supermarket within walking distance, several mid sized supermarkets within 10 minutes by car and the huge Algarve Shopping Centre within a 20 minute drive. Banks, Post Offices, Pharmacies etc can all be found in Albufeira.

25% deposit at time of booking. Balance due 6 weeks before departure plus a £150.00 refundable security deposit cheque. The cheque is returned after departure assuming there are no damages to be deducted. Our property management team are fluent English speaking and will meet you at our apartment when you arrive and are available to help you at any time during your stay.

Changeover Day:
Midweek or weekend arrivals and departures are acceptable. Please vacate by 10am and arrive after 3.00pm, unless by prior arrangement, to allow sufficient time for cleaning.

Notes on prices:
