Sleeps 12, fantastic views, easy walk to the Beach & St Enodoc Golf Course with large, private garden

Gullrockone combines totally luxury with all the ingredients necessary for the perfect family holiday in Cornwall. It has a spacious feel to it that can accommodate 12 people very comfortably. It is located in the heart of Rock but set back from Rock Road to ensure total privacy. A large, secure garden is one of the main attractions to this wonderful house and guests are invited to bring dogs by agreement. There is both a TV/cinema room and separate sitting room to ensure that small children or noisy teenagers can disappear when they need to!

The house has plasma TVs, an aqua tv, a wii consul, Sky HD, bluray and a SONOS music system. The kitchen has been well equipped with bi-fold doors that fold back to reveal fantastic views over the Camel Estuary. There is an outside decked area with bbq and table & chairs.

All our bedrooms have luxurious bedlinen, goose down duvets and pillows and complimentary bathroom accessories. The master bathroom also has a steam room.

Gullrockone offers off street parking for 2 to 3 cars, a great garage area with wet suit drying cupboards which leads into the shower room and utility room making beach to house super easy.

Easy distance to local shops including a butcher, bakery, fishmonger, deli and The Mariners Pub which now serves delicious food by Nathan Outlaw. There are other bars, cafes & restaurants an easy walk away and a regular ferry that goes from Rock Beach to Padstow.

About The Owner

We live in Hampshire with our four children and have enjoyed a lifetime of holidays in Cornwall. We have both been regular visitors to Rock over the last twenty years and then had the opportunity to buy a house there.

We love all that Cornwall has to offer from sailing, surfing and water sports to golf, walks and a fantastic array of great pubs and restaurants. It really is the perfect family holiday.

Gullrockone offers the perfect combination of being ideally situated with wonderful views overlooking the Camel Estuary whilst offering luxurious privacy within its spacious interior and large landscaped garden.

Special interest holidays:

Rock has become a very popular holiday destination due to the huge amount of activities it has to offer. Whether you are a water sports enthusiast, beach lover, foodie, golf fanatic, walker, keen sailor or avid fisherman, Rock can offer exactly what you are after. There really is no better British family holiday.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is a few minutes walk away, situated overlooking the Camel Estuary and a water taxi ride away from Padstow.

Travel:

Newquay Airport is only 25 minutes away with direct flights into London Gatwick and City Airport. The train runs from Bodmin Parkway to London and is only 30 minutes drive from the house.

Distances:

There is a very good local butcher, fishmonger, grocery store, bakery and delicatessen a couple of miles up the road.

To book Gull Rock One, please contact the owner to check on availability. On completion of our booking form and receipt of a 30% deposit the required dates are secured. The balance of payment is then due 6 weeks before arrival.

Changeover Day:
Thursday is our changeover day with access from 4.30pm and guests are asked to leave at 10am.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: Gull Rock One offers luxurious accommodation with all the creature comforts that one could ask for. All the bedrooms have sprung mattresses with goose down duvets and pillows, Egyptian cotton bedlinen and Branche d'Olive bath accessories in every bathroom. There are also beach towels provided for the Summer months. There is wifi access throughout the house, n'espresso pods and full log baskets and a complimentary welcome hamper on your arrival. Outside: The house has half an acre of landscaped garden which is totally secure. It is predominantly lawn and the house also comes with all weather wicker chairs with cream cushions a large teak outside table and a Weber barbecue for your use. There is sufficient parking for three cars and a large garage fitted out with wet suit drying cupboards, storage space and a large temperature controlled drinks fridge. Utility Room: Miele washing machine & tumble drier. Clothes airer, laundry basket. Brabantia ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: White Egyptian cotton bedlinen and cream/beige towels are inclusive in letting Gull Rock One. These are changed on a weekly basis. Other: Gull Rock One is fully 'specked' out, the sitting room has a 46" flat screen television, bluray player and iPod docking station that can be heard throughout the house music system.
