Well located 2 bedroom apartment in secure private complex with shared pools and gardens. Located above the picturesque harbour of Calas Fonts, with it's excellent selection of bars and restaurants and just two minutes walk away. Shops and other amenities are all within 5 minutes walk and the city of Mahon is around 30 minutes walk. The property has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, bathroom, well equipped kitchen, utility room, wc, lounge with dining area and balcony with partial sea views. Within the complex there are two good sized swimming pools, terrace areas and gardens.

After visiting Menorca for many years, we fell in love with Es Castell and decided to buy this apartment in 2002. We consider this apartment as our home and have enjoyed many family holidays here as have our extended family and friends. We believe it is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday for both families and couples with everything you need on your doorstep.

Why Christine McCarthy chose Minorca (Menorca)

Our property is a duplex apartment of approximately 100 square meters on the edge of the residential area of Santa Ana. We like the fact its quiet, but is within a few minutes walk of the town and harbour shops, bars and restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

A quiet area with small beach, harbour and town within a few minutes walk.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Menorca has more beaches than all the other Balearic Islands. Although Es Castell does not have a sandy beach, there is a small rocky inlet at Cala Padera with sunbathing terrace (5 to 10 minutes walk). Many more beaches are within 15 minutes drive.

Travel:

Es Castell is around 15 minutes drive/taxi from Mahon airport. A car is not essential because Es Castell has a good bus/taxi service and Mahon is within walking distance.

Distances:

All necessary shops and amenities (supermarkets, banks, internet cafe, chemist, doctors etc.) are within a few minutes walk of the apartment. The harbour of Calas Fonts, featuring numerous bars and restaurants is also within a few minutes walk and the main harbour of Mahon is 5 minutes drive. Larger supermarkets in Mahon and San Louis are around 10 minutes drive.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on 2 levels with the living/kitchen area and wc on the upper (access) level. The bedrooms, bathroom and utility room are on the lower level, accessed via staircase with handrail. No pets allowed. No smoking inside the apartment please. Outside: The apartment complex consists of 2 good sized shared swimming pools, one with children's splash pool. Large sunbathing terrace with outdoor shower and attractive gardens with seating and children's play area. Sunbeds are provided. Utility Room: Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and bathroom towels are included. The apartment is cleaned and ready for your arrival with interim linen change for bookings of 14 nights or more.

Fantastic Apartment

Well equipment Apartment and very clean. Close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The description was exactly like the apartment. Would highly recommend staying here. Hope to return again sometime :)

A non refundable deposit of 25% is taken upon booking and the balance is due no later than 10 weeks before the start of the holiday. A returnable deposit of £100 is required to be paid with the balance of the holiday. This is held by the owner as security against return of keys, breakages or excess cleaning costs.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. Check in time is 2pm. Check out time 10am. It may be possible to negotiate on changeover day outwith the main season.
