cosy, comfortable, well-equipped cottage in peaceful courtyard setting

  • 5 of 5

We booked this cottage for four days in late August. I was doing a long Charity walk and so we were very restricted with our time. We enjoyed the cottage so much, we booked it again recently, for a week, so that we could do a bit more exploring in a more relaxed manner..

We had a lovely week, going to Sandringham twice, once on foot as the cottage is so near.

Wonderful, with it's abundance of walks and other facilities.

We drove to Hunstanton, less than ten miles away, and did some bracing beach walks, followed by lunch at the beach cafe near Old Hunstanton.

Then, if one drives along the coastal A149, there are several interesting stop-off places, as far as Sheringham and Cromer. Altogether lots to occupy one's time and then back to our welcoming cottage.

Well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage. Well situated for the Norfolk Coast, bird watching and other attractions. Warm and welcoming to come home to after a day out in the cold. Highly recommended.

Old Hall Cottage is ideally situated to be able to explore this beautiful part of Norfolk. Countryside and coast are both nearby and Sandringham Estate is within walking distance. It is comfortable and well equipped, well furnished with a super sleigh bed and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. I would certainly recommend it.

Perfect Break

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed for a week, aided by near perfect weather. Very well appointed cottage and in a quiet location. If you want to leave the car at home, there is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. Nothing negative at all to say and we would certainly book up again in the future and would highly recommend it. We know the area well and all the places we like to visit are within an easy drive. Avoid Snettisham beach - nothing there unless you've got children but amenities are much better at Heacham.

Lovely retreat

  • 5 of 5

Set in a secluded, quiet courtyard in the lovely village of Dersingham, this cosy little cottage is well equipped and very comfortable.

The beautiful Sandringham Estate is a two minute drive around the corner.

We were only able to stay for three nights but would have happily stayed the week.

Would highly recommend this property for a couple or, like us, a mum and daughter wanting a bit of time together.

We hope to come back again soon.
