The apartment has been tastefully decorated by the artist owner. 2 double bedrooms with wardrobe space, 2 bathrooms with shower, w/c and bidet, a comfortable living room, kitchen corner and private, secluded garden. The home features tv, dvd and dining for 4 inside of alfresco. Further details outdoors: a lovely sheltered garden perfect for alfresco dining-the perfect place for a romantic meal or family occasion. What can be said about Venice that hasn't already been written? Many places have tried and failed to imitate it but nothing in truth compares. Venice is formed by a series of islands separated by the lagoons where a hoard of bountiful history awaits. From the rialto bridge, to the gondoliers, St Mark's Square, Doge's palace to Harry's bar Venice will excite and inspire in equal measure. Whether you visit in the winter's mist or summer sun Venice enjoys its position as a kind of floating city an revels in its reputation as arguably the most romantic place on earth.
We have recently returned from our week break in Venice.
The accommodation was perfect. Deborah could not have been more helpful and hospitable. I would highly recommend the apartment to another family. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire flat was furnished beautifully and very comfortably. My two girls (7and 10) loved their little room which opened onto the charming garden.
The area was ideal, beautiful but out of the main tourist hot spots. With some good advice from our hosts we were able to eat well on a budget and avoid the long queues for big attractions.
Thanks for your help in finding this great place. I will be recommending it to friends and family

Deborah was amazing & told us where to to eat, the best food at the markets etc The apartment was better than imagined, the rooms were spacious & the beds very comfortable. We hope to travel to Venice next year as we will definitely stay there again!

We booked this home earlier this month together with two other apartments in Castello. This was our pick of the three. Deborah, who met us on arrival, was a sheer delight. Great host, informative tips and available whenever we needed her. The apartment has been really well kitted out and it was just a shame the weather in November was not kind enough to use the garden. If we return in the summer we will make use of it. The area is what i would consider authentic as there are locals in the main milling about in the pedestrianised streets, a daily food market, mini markets, restaurants, bars without the tourist masses. That said we could hope on the ferry to Salute across the water or to St Marks Square by foot in 10 minutes flat. If you want to see Venice through the eyes of a local i would give Deborah a call, you could do far worse! Thank you once more for all your kindness throughout our stay.
We enjoyed our short time in Venice, at Apartmento Giardino. Giardino has modern amenities within a historic setting. It is located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, just short walk away from the busy tourist areas of Venice . The residence itself is well appointed with a lovely, quiet shaded garden, within which you can relax comfortably after a day's touring.
Our hostess Deborah was extremely helpful and provided much needed guidance on what to see, where to eat and what to avoid. She was very gracious, approachable and accommodating. Our Thanks to Deborah for the wonderful hospitality and lively chats.
The property is a traditional Venetian apartment with a lovely secluded garden - most unusual for Venice. The owner is extraordinarily helpful and has an encyclopedic knowledge of Venice. Highly recommended!
We had the most wonderful stay at your home and truly fell in love with Venice. We loved our apartment and cannot thank Deborah enough for her hospitality in meeting us and giving us so much good advice about the Castello area we were located in and Venice in general. The location was ideal, just a few vaporetto stops away from Piazza San Marco yet well away from the ‘madding crowd’. With its lovely little garden courtyard it was a very quiet and welcoming place to return to and enjoy a glass or two of Prosecco after a hectic day sight-seeing.
The apartment was very comfortable – although small the kitchen was the best set up of all the apartments we had been in during our month in Italy. The beds were super comfortable and we appreciated the care Deborah had taken to keep the apartment cool and insect free, very important as the weather was quite warm. And we did make good use of the interesting array of books and CDs on the shelves! Add to this the beautiful artworks on the walls and surfaces and we felt we were in an apartment with real character and warmth.
I have already recommended your apartment to others, by the way, and I know my cousin Clemence has too! Whilst best suited to a couple to enjoy the upstairs bedroom, spacious bathroom, kitchen and living room, the downstairs bedroom with its double bed and its own small bathroom was fine for me and could suit a second couple or another adult or teenager.
Kind regards and special best wishes to Deborah - Christine
