Completed in May 2008, Le Jardin Alpin Vaujany, is an outstanding development which comprises of three Chalet style buildings comprising ten superbly equipped apartments and a number of individual luxury chalets. We have the following accommodation available for you to rent: A31, a 2 bedroom apartment that can sleep up to six guests. The location couldn’t be better - only 100 yards from the ski- lift which connects you directly into the huge (and high) Alpe d’Huez. Our apartment comes with 2 bedrooms and a double sofa-bed. The apartment can sleep up to 6. The apartment is also equipped with wi-fi, flat screen TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, four electric hobs and large fridge freezer. Additional facilities include under-floor heating plus additional heaters in each room.

Built in 2008 this apartment consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), one bathroom with shower/bath, separate WC, open plan living space including kitchen and large balcony with stunning view of the mountains. There is a sofa bed in the main living area which converts into a very comfortable double should you require it. The apartment also benefits from 18ft ceilings to give a real sense of space. The apartment is also equipped with Flat Screen TV, Wi-fi, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, four electric hobs and large fridge freezer. Additional facilities include underfloor heating plus additional heaters in each room, Kettle and Toaster. A Cot and High Chair are available on request.

This apartment comes with fresh bed linen provided. Towels are available to hire for £5 per person at the time of booking. Wifi is £15 for the week if required.

We are a family run ski company called Vaujany Ski Co Ltd that operate solely in Vaujany. This lovely property is just one of the many properties that we market in Vaujany on behalf of UK owners. Although we are based in the UK we spend a lot of time in Vaujany and have a great knowledge of the resort and how to make the best of the area both in the Winter and the Summer. We can assist with travel transfers quoting private transfers from airports/train stations, our guests receive discounted ski-hire. We can also advise on ski passes, bike hire, restaurants, food delivery and of course where to ski or ride and when! Thank you for helping us with our accommodation this year. We had a brilliant time. It was the first time our children had gone (they even had boots and skis for Lucy our 2 year old!) and they loved their short runs between the two of us :-)





The apartments worked out really well with our cousins in one and us in the other (yours!). They were both very ideal for children and were lovely to come back home to. And located so close to the swimming pool was brilliant and so we went every day. (The spa was great as well and we had no stiff legs as proof!)





Pip was very nice, efficient and punctual and seems to run the show very well

“A31 was fantastic. One of the best places I've stayed in the alps - handy it had a garage with the amount of bikes and stuff we had. Will book it again for the race next year so just need to wait for the dates to be published but should be around the same time. Will keep in touch re dates.”

lovely apartment close to the ski lifts

My son and I had a great week, not just on the mountain but, swimming, Ice skating & bowling too, Rob & Tash's apartment is a great place to base yourselves for a fun weeks skiing/boarding.

Wonderful apartment

We have stayed at this apartment for a number of years and it never fails to live up to expectations. It is clean, warm and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The french doors open out onto a large balcony where you can watch the snow falling, gaze at the the mountains or dine al fresco (although perhaps not in winter). The customer service is excellent and very friendly from booking, meet and greet and throughout the holiday. Its location is ideal as the village centre, ski station, ice rink, sports centre and restaurants are all within walking distance. I would recommend this accommodation.

Really nice apartment in a great little ski resort. Everything you could hope for in terms of location - right next to the ski lift and really close to the brilliant swimming pool and leisure centre. Easy to book with Rob and Tash and the resort reps were really helpful. Would highly recommend. Great value too...

Great apartment, great location

This is a great apartment in a lovely mountain village. Vaujany is a great place to stay - it is an authentic little French mountain village that has swift, direct access to the massive Alpe D'Huez ski area meaning you get all the KMs of pistes to play on but you are away from the crowds & negatives of ADH. It has a number of bars, eateries, bakeries & a small supermarket. Getting around the steep mountain village is made easy by a covered escalator running from the bottom to the top with multiple access points at different levels - one being a 50m walk away down the quiet road from the apartment (or ski if there has been a dump of snow) that takes you straight to the lift station where you take the huge cable car or smaller bubbles up to the ski area. The apartment is a smart, modern, well equipped place to stay that was very clean and clearly well maintained. There is everything you need for a self catering ski holiday - cooking is not a problem, there is a cafetiere for the all important pre ski morning coffee & a large fridge to keep the food, beer & wine cold. It has 2 bedrooms (double & twin) & a large sofa bed and slept 4 lads comfortably (just a case of quickly making up the sofa bed each evening) so will be suitable for couples, families or small groups. The lounge/kitchen/diner is a decent size (not large but not cramped either) & there is a good size balcony with a view of the mountain. The apartment has a tv and DVD for entertainment or occupying the kids, although the tv is French channels only. A real bonus is the wifi - great for checking the snow forecasts & webcams up on the mountain before heading out each day & skyping the family in the evenings. We had one problem with a frozen pipe (it was very cold with -20c temps during our stay)under the sink during our stay but the in resort contact/manager sorted this promptly & provided a great, personable service. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment/Vaujany as a place to stay. Arsens Bar is good for a quiet beer. Stiefs is another option & does good burgers & bar food. The takeaway pizza place is good. Vaujany is the perfect Alpine Winter and Summer destination: it's a superbly authentic village with quaint old farm buildings nestled in with bars, restaurants and fantastic modern leisure facilities. The lift system is second to none and boasts the fastest elevation gain in the whole resort. That means whether you are ski-ing or mountain biking you can be at the top of the mountain within a few minutes of getting on the super fast 160 man gondola. Throw in the world class ski-ing both on pistes and off piste and it's no wonder that Vaujany is becoming the go to place for those in the know. The village itself is linked from top to bottom by a series of lifts and escalators so getting around is easy and you won't need a car when you are here.

The closest airport is Grenoble, 1 hr 20 mins away. Other easy transfers are Chambery (2 hrs), Lyon (2hr 15) and Geneva (2hr 40). Driving to the property is straightforward and full directions will be provided upon booking.

The property is located in the development called Le Jardin Alpin which is just 100 metres from the ski station, ski school, leisure centre, ice-skating rink, bowling, shops and restaurants. Leave the apartment and two minutes walk later you will be on the lift system and heading up to 2800m to tackle one of the numerous ski runs the resort has to offer. The village itself has recently invested a huge amount of money into the leisure facilities including a superb leisure centre, swimming pool, brand new ice-skating rink, bowling alley and all of this is just a few minutes walk away from the chalet building.
