Apartment in Sant Elm, Andratx, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Situated In Mature Gardens On The Waters Edge

This lovely 2 bedroom property is located in a small cove in the charming and unspoilt seaside village of Sant Elm. On entering the property you are immediately struck by the fantastic sea views and the 'sleeping dragon' Island of Dragonera and Pantaleu. The property has been refurbished to give an open, airy and relaxed feel. It has a large terraced area for sunbathing and alfresco dining with an outside gas barbeque. The apartment is very well equipped, fully air-conditioned and has a modernised kitchen with seated bar area. It is set in mature gardens allowing direct access to the sea with crystal clear blue waters ideal for swimming or snorkelling. At the foot of the complex is a terraced area, ideal for sunbathing, adjacent to the rocky shoreline with a bathing platform for sea access. There is also a communal seawater swimming pool but this is temporarily closed at the time of writing. We have a selection of foldaway sunbeds which can be taken down to the waters edge.

The village and public beach with lifeguard are only 5 minutes walk away.

Mallorca's Hidden Jewel

This is a beautiful apartment. The owner's take wonderful pride in it and are very generous in sharing it. There is nothing to add to it that would make it any better than it is. For a family of teenagers it suited us beautifully. The terrace views are spectacular, the cool of the air-conditioning very welcome and the 10 minute walk into the village stunning - funny we never got used to the views, but had to admired what was in front of us every day. Lying on the slip and jumping and snorkelling off the pier are happy memories. Also the pool is lovely. What can I say? We're already booked to go back!.

Comfortable apartment with fantastic views

Very comfortable and well maintained and equipped apartment. Air con in all rooms for a good night's sleep in the hot nights. Views from the balcony are lovely. Short walk to the town centre with good restaurants and beaches nearby. Strongly recommended.

Wonderful well equipped and nice apartment

The apartment is well equipped with kitchen things, plates, knives, nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, air con etc. You can live as at home. More over the apartment is nicely decorated, white and with 2 perfect bathrooms and a spacious terrasse with sea view. The "resort" is great and you can snorkel, swim and sunbathe there or just walk to the public beach. Recommend this apartment.

Location

From the Owner

I have family in Mallorca so we have visited the island regularly for many years and love it's proximity and warm climate. We've always liked the south-west corner of the island and decided on Sant Elm as it remains unspoilt and traditionally Mallorcan, a charming seaside village with wonderful crystal blue Carribean-esque waters,overlooking the Island of Dragonera. This gem has a delightful beach, pedestrianised street and a number of eateries with lovely terraces overlooking the sea. The town of Andratx, port of Andratx and little town of S'Arraco are all nearby and worth a visit. The area is also superb for walking and cycling hobbies which we all like.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

The area is a great base for walkers including the trek to the nature reserve of La Trapa or to the Torre de Cala en Basset. Also ideal for cycling, both road and mountain biking. Enjoyable and challenging routes to nearby town of S'Arraco, Andratx, Es Capdella, Port d'Andratx and Palma.

Coast/Beach:

San Telm has it's own sandy beach with hired sun loungers, parasols and childrens' play area. It is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, some with free wi-fi access, overlooking the Island of Dragonera. The beaches at Camp de Mar, Paguera and Santa Ponsa are a short drive away.

Travel:

30-40 minute transfer time from Palma airport. Car hire recommended.

The property is in a private low rise complex set in mature and private gardens on the waters edge. It is only a short walk from the beach and main village. Entering the property you are struck by the fantastic sea views and the 'sleeping dragon' Island of Dragonera, enjoyed from the large patio area which is ideal for al fresco dining. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a modernised kitchen with bar area to enjoy the seaviews.

Use of communal gardens, direct access to sea. The apartments are situated in mature flowered gardens with pelagonium and Bourgainvilla. The sun comes on to the terrace in the afternoon and stays till sunset. Direct access to the sea is available by walking through the gardens. At the foot of the complex is a terraced area, ideal for sunbathing, adjacent to the rocky shoreline with a bathing platform for sea access. There are steps from the rocks into the sea for swimming and snorkelling. There is also a communal seawater swimming pool but this is temporarily closed at the time of writing.
