Extremely spacious and comfortable, 2 double bedroom, first floor apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), living and dining area, fully fitted kitchen and balcony with magnificent sea views. Five communal swimming pools and two tennis courts. Situated in the Monte Dourado complex which enjoys a lovely hilltop position overlooking the old fishing village of Carvoeiro. It is within easy walking distance (200yards) of the beach and town centre with its shops, bars and restaurants. There are plenty of golf courses within a few miles of Carvoeiro. 45 minute drive to Faro airport.

About The Owner

We live in England and go to Portugal as often as possible. We love the people, the country and the weather. We have made friends with some of the restaurant and bar owners who all make you feel very welcome.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2006

Why The Owner chose Carvoeiro area

We wanted somewhere which was not in a large town and had a distinctly Portuguese charm. No concrete high rises! We wanted to be within easy walking distance of the town and the beach so we could shop, visit restaurants and go to the beach without the need to use a car. The property is only a few minutes walk from the beach and amenities and there are lots of walks in and around the area.

The apartment has magnificent uninterrupted sea views and is the largest 2 bedroom apartment in the complex.

Notes on accommodation: There is a 24 hour reception service. Guests have use of all facilities on the complex which includes tennis courts (pay at reception). Internet access is also available at reception as well as information for car hire, day trips, books, etc. There are also electric heaters in each room. Outside: There are sun loungers by the pool and the apartments are separated by gardens. From the balcony there are magnificent uninterrupted view of the cliffs and the sea. There is a good sized pool (not heated) and a separate toddler pool next to the apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Beach towels are supplied. There is also a maid service and an iron and ironing board. Other: Balcony with table and 4 chairs, 4 seat cushions. Exterior lockable clothes drying area.

Booking Notes:
Please contact us to enquire about bookings. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required within 10 days to confirm a booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. We will also require a £150 damages/breakages deposit with the balance which will be refunded 2 weeks after vacating the apartment should there be no damages/breakages. Payment accepted in sterling or euros.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday or Sunday (preferred) but we will try and be flexible.
Check in time is after 4.00pm unless otherwise pre-arranged. If it is possible to check in earlier we will try and help.
Check out time is by 11.00am on day of departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the apartment per night in £ Sterling (for up to a maximum of 4 persons). Minimum 7 nights. Extra nights are available on a pro-rata basis.
Winter Period: (November, December, January, February, March)
Electricity used is charged for as an extra.
Long stays (8 weeks or more) are charged at £200 per week plus electricity used for a maximum occupancy of 2 persons (supplement of 10% for 3rd and 4th persons).
