Superbly positioned 2 Bedroom,2 bathroom apartment just yards from pools

Costa esuri is situated next to the Guadiana river, the natural border between Spain and Portugal, on the Costa de la Luz (coast of light), also known as the Spanish Algarve. The area, surrounded by nature reserves with a wealth of bird life, is beautifully unspoilt and usually enjoys over 300 days sunshine a year. This well furnished, air conditioned ground floor apartment is a short distance from the newly refurbished Costa Esuri club house which is under new management. The 18 hole golf course has undergone an extensive maintenance program to bring it up to standard aswell as being close to many other top quality courses in Spain and Portugal. Also in this area are many fantastic, clean, white sandy beaches. This well appointed apartment has private direct access to the communal pool and landscaped garden areas from its south facing sunny patio. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, tv with uk freeview channels/dvd/cd player, selection of dvd's & cd's aswell as satellite internet with unlimited downloads. Air con, which has a warm air option for cooler months, should make this the ideal place in which to holiday. Travel cot, highchair, bed guard and plastic cups/plates are provided free.

A welcome pack at no extra charge consisting of cereal, milk, water, orange juice, eggs and butter is provided. We also supply free of charge all tea, coffee, sugar, any cooking condiments, hand soaps, shower gel, washing powder, dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls.All kitchen tea towels,washing up liquid and kitchen cloths are supplied.

About Kira Mason

My husband and I live in Spain. We originally bought a house in a small village just north of Ayamonte about 3 years ago but loved the area so much that we decided to make our 'holiday home' our permanent one. We moved here because we both enjoy the sun and warmer climate.

We love to meet people and want your stay to be as stress free and comfortable as possible. We welcome your enquiries and are happy for calls during your stay if you have any questions or problems.

Why Kira Mason chose Ayamonte

We bought the apartment at Costa Esuri for its ideal location as a holiday home. We already knew the area from living close by and felt that its proximity to fabulous white sandy beaches, golf courses, water parks and carting made it perfect for a holiday base. Seville is about 90 mins away or head down the Portuguese coast to see the sand sculptures or charming little fishing villages like Cabanas.

Costa Esuri is very easy to get to, being just off the main motorway servicing the Spanish and Portuguese Algarve coast and just on the border between the two countries.

We love the area as it is still unspoilt by high rise hotels and retains its Spanish charm.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is reached via a gated entrance and therefore provides a secure environment for children and adults alike. Parking is next to the apartment, so not far to carry suitcases or shopping!

The property is fitted with smoke alarms and both fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

We also provide, (at no extra cost), a travel cot, high chair and car booster seat if required.

Although a car is recommended, you may just want to stay close to the apartment and pools. Try the BBQ on our terrace, the golf course and golf club for a drink /meal or enjoy the bird life on the nature reserve which is part of the complex. A well stocked shop close by can meet most of your needs.

Notes on accommodation: The owners live only 15 mins away and are on hand if any queries arise. We aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible and have tried to make it 'home from home'. We don't expect you to have to go shopping for household goods on holiday, so all dishcloths, scourers etc and even toilet paper is provided free! Arrangements to meet and greet are made prior to arrival. The apartment is in a secure gated community accessed only by key holders. A secure gate provides access to the communal pools and landscaped garden areas. Both pools can be seen from the terrace. Air-conditioning/warm air heating (at no additional charge for use) provides a temperature controlled environment for your comfort whatever time of the year you visit. Internet access is available via satelleite Outside: The large terrace is fully tiled and can be accessed from both bedrooms, the lounge and utility room. It is south facing, so has the sunshine all day, (although a portico provides some shade), and overlooks the pools and gardens. A parasol, patio table and chairs, sun loungers and small barbecue are provided, together with charcoal. There are also a couple of director's chairs and a beach parasol if you want to enjoy the superb beaches. A cool box and beach towels are provided. Once over the two steps from the terrace, the pools are only a few paces away, so you can cool down on those long, hot, summer days. Parking is only one space away from the main entrance. Key holders only can access this gated community. Utility Room: Off the kitchen, this contains washing machine, iron/ironing board, washing baskets, airer. (Washing powder and softener supplied at no extra cost.) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed & cot linen, bath and beach towels are supplied. Beds & towels are changed weekly. The apartment is cleaned and ready for each new client. A mid stay clean can be provided for an extra charge. Other: The apartment has air-conditioning/warm air heating. Welcome pack at no extra cost - red & white wine bread milk water juice cereal eggs butter and Tea/Coffee/sugar Smoke alarms are fitted and checked. Unique apartment with spectacular views.

Came with my wife and two young children. The apartment is in a quiet location within this old Andalusian town which has so much character with lovely squares surrounded by bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is excellent all facilities at hand plus a lovely swimming pool. Shopping mall within 5 mins. The beauty of this apartment is that it has such a choice of beaches to visit either in Spain or Portugal. Will certainly return

Great Apartment

The Apartment was very clean and well equipped, the pool was only 10 yards from the patio area. Keira and Vincent the owner were very helpful throughout our stay.The local restaurants in Ayamonte and over the border in Portugal were fantastic. We can definitely recommend this apartment and holiday.Thanks to Kira and Vincent we had a wonderful time.

Special interest holidays:

The apartment is the perfect springboard to explore the numerous nature reserves that are teeming with birdlife.


There are numerous white sandy beaches in both Spain and Portugal within 20 - 30 minutes drive of Costa Esuri. Most have ample parking, (although in peak summer it is advisable to go early), and beach bars for drinks, meals and comfort breaks. Sun beds and parasols are also available for hire from the beach attendants for a small daily charge.


Faro, in Portugal, is the nearest airport (only 45 minutes by car on the motorway). Most of the budget and charter airlines fly there from a good selection of UK airports.

Seville airport can also be used, although the drive to Costa Esuri is longer taking 90 mins.

Jerez is about 3 hours away

Car hire is recommended, although a taxi transfer can be arranged at a concessionary rate if required. For information, taxis to Ayamonte, the nearest town, cost 10 euros each way.


Faro, in Portugal is only 45 minutes by car on the motorway

Seville is 90 mins away.

Jerez is about 2 hours drive

Gibraltar is about 3 hours drive

Car hire is recommended. For information, taxis to Ayamonte, the nearest town, cost 10 euros each way.

Beaches are about 20 mins drive - to either Spain or Portugal

Ayamonte is the nearest town with numerous shops, bars and restaurants, aswell as ATM's.

There are numerous supermarkets to choose from. There is a small mini market on Costa Esuri which sells a good range of items including freshly baked bread. A local baker also comes into the complex in the morning and also sells fresh bread.

A 20% non refundable deposit is due upon booking confirmation. A fully refundable deposit of 100 euros will be requested upon arrival to cover lost keys or breakages. A minimum stay of 5 nights or extra nights over and above whole weeks are charged at pro rata rates.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is usually Saturday but this can be flexible. We ask guests to vacate the property by 10am. If taking a late flight, a later check out can be considered depending on subsequent bookings. There is no extra cost for late arrivals.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Part weeks are charged at pro-rata rates. A 20% non refundable deposit is required on booking confirmation.
