Ground Floor Apartment in Caleta de Fuste. 2 bedrooms 1 sofa bed sleeps 6.

A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment situated on the original golf course in the quiet residential area of Las Rocas. Just 10 minutes drive from the airport. The all-year round good weather means you can use the apartment as a base from which to explore the fantastic beaches and golf courses around the island or just relax with a good book by the pool. You can be collected at the airport or met at the apartment. You will then be shown round and have everything explained to you. If you have any problems or questions we have a team in place to ensure that you have a trouble and stress free holiday.

We now have Internet TV and Broadband installed at the property. Allowing you to watch BBC, ITV, C4, 5, Dave, Quest, CBS and other UK channels plus a whole host of other programmes. There is also a DVD player (please bring your own DVD's). We have a selection of books that have been left by guests available for you to read.

About The Owner

Hi, we are Tracie and Graeme Vaughan, living in Kent. We visited most of the Canary Islands over the last 20 years with our then young children. We had been looking to buy somewhere for a while and when we visited Fuerteventura we decided that we liked the quietness and safety of ther area and bought our apartment on Las Rocas. We don't play golf....yet, but....

We love the island, the all year weather and the new friends we are making.

It's just a fantastic place to have a great time for people of all ages.

Just to let you know we have a great time. Kept forgetting that it wasn't just our pool! Most we saw around it were 4 other families...The free bus into town or the shops and beach was brilliant and we'd love to book up again for next year!



Wow! What a relaxing time we had.

This was the first time we've been away that hasn't been a package deal so we were a bit worried at first. It was better than we had expected! My wife is already talking about coming out again in March with her friends.

Your apartment in Fuerteventura is really lovely! Everything that we needed was there,the pool area was lovely and very well kept! We totaly chilled out for the whole two weeks and even got our exercise in by walking every night to the town to have our dinner, we would love to go again next year.

Notes on accommodation: The climate is so good that most accommodation has no heating built in. There are fans available for hire for the summer months. Wireless Internet access is available for hire locally. The apartment is very secure with a wall safe provided and secure iron gates and parking. There is security provided by the community and vehicles patrol the area during the day and night, ensuring that all is well. Outside: There 65 sq metres of astro turf to front garden. The rear garden is black pecan. There are 4 white sunbeds available and a black fabric fold up one. Also an outside garden table and chairs, BBQ and wicker sofa for the alfresco life. There are 2 unheated communal pools, 50 metres walk away. One very shallow for young children and the other for adults and older children. Access is gained only by electronic card and is therefore very peaceful. This area has showers, toilets and sun loungers. There is a secure car parking space in the front garden and also off street parking. Utility Room: Storage area fitted with twin washing lines and a fold up drying stand. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, linen and hairdryer are all provided. There is a washing machine and a washing line provided. If staying for more than a week, arrangements can be made for linen to be changed if required. Other: Baby travel cot can be provided. No linen. Tall fan is supplied.

In need of a makeover and a reliable and higher speed internet

When booking this apartment we made it clear to the owner that a priority for us was a TV with English channels but we had to rely on a neighbor with the appropriate technical skills to set up the TV. Due to poor internet speeds we could only get BBC channels and the programmes kept freezing.. We have emailed the owner twice to ask for compensation for the lack of a TV, there has been no response so far.

Owner's Response: I have had no correspondence from these guests. I state in my property description that the TV is via Streaming Media. I do not live on the island so am unable to assist guests personally, but my friend who is also more streaming savvy than me, was happy to assist the guests with the problem. Although I pay for High Speed Broadband the supply on the Golf Course is not what we're used to in the UK. In recent months new companies have been offering higher speeds via WiFi. But I have not been back to look into changing this. Not sure why you think it needs a make over. The photos of the apartment are current and are not misleading. It may not be to your taste but you can see what it's like from the photos.

Great location and nicely appointed apartment. Would definitely stay here again in future. Graham was very prompt in his replies in particular as this was a very last minute booking late at night.

Ideally central in resort, great outdoor space near communal pool.

Excellent two bed ground floor apartment near communal pool with great outdoor space. We found it very quiet and peaceful (february). Ideal for us as we needed a base near the capital where we could shop to furnish a property further along the coast. A stones throw from the bars and restaurants and good beaches. Ten minutes from the airport and around thirty minutes to the northern resort of Corralejo with its fantastic dunes/beaches. Must add that we found the best Indian restaurant we've been to abroad. Description and photo's were totally indicative of the apartment and spotless on arrival. Over all a very pleasant stay, thanks Graeme.

Spacious and Well Equipped

ARRIVED AT MIDNIGHT AFTER A LONG FLIGHT DELAY but Sue was waiting to greet us with a smile.

Woke next morning to appreciate the apartment in daylight large front laid to astro turf and rear garden complete with 4 loungers also a large alfresco dining area great for BBQ's

Inside a well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer -washing machine-cooker and hob connected to an outdoor area with a secure gate to rear garden

The two bedrooms are twin rooms with large wardrobes and patio doors to the gardens .The master has a safe and patio doors to the outside dining area .

The lounge area has a dining table for 6 TV with all English channels and excellent wifi connection .Car hire is essential for exploring but there is a free courtesy bus in the area to the local shopping area but we did not use as had car and taxis very reasonable .

The pool area very clean and well maintained on all our visits we felt it was our personal area other than the odd swimmer our a family group .

In conclusion the complex is safe quiet and extremely relaxing the ingredients for a relaxing holiday---Thanks again Graham/Sue ...ENJOY

Special interest holidays:

There are diving schools, wind surfing schools, tennis courts and three world class golf courses. Fuerteventura holds the annual World championship windsurfing competition every year and as such attracts many people from across the world to enjoy the fantastic climate. Kite flying competitions are also held here.


The nearest beach is a 15 minute walk away, or a five minute free bus ride. Fuerteventura is widely acknowledged to have the best beaches outside of the Caribbean. Beaches at El Cotillo, The Dunes, Costa Calma and Jandia are amongst the best in the world and can be accesed either by car or by public transport.


Flights are available from most UK airports and Monarch, Ryanair and Easyjet all fly to Puerto de Resario.

Transfers takes just 10 minutes. Car hire is not necessary unless you wish to explore the island. There are taxis readily available and the bus services is very cheap and reliable.

Alternative, we can arrange for our representative to meet you at the airport and give you a personal service.


Caleta is less than 5 minutes by car or bus. There is an international choice of all kinds of restaurant and the food is excellent and good value. The local market on a Saturday is well worth a visit, where you can buy all types of watches, jewelery, clothing. You get to haggle and it's great fun.

Further Details:

The Atlantico centre is 5 minutes away. There is an excellent supermarket, shops, McDonalds, bars, cinema, bowling alley and bank all in this development, which fronts on to the sea.

Further along into the resort of Caleta are all the bars and restaurants you could wish for as well as a myriad of shops and boutiques.
