We bought this property in June 2014 as we felt there simply was no better spot to have a holiday home in the Lake District. Spacious, versatile, private, great views, full of charm and character, loads of good walks from the doorstep and a great pub a short distance away. The village is nestled in a picturesque setting at the foot of Blencathra and has amenities including children's play facilities. This is our own holiday home and has had a full refurbishment making it a comfortable, clean and relaxing environment whatever the weather!

Non returnable booking fee (part of rental price) of £200 for both apartments, £100 for the Barn and £100 for the Byre to secure the booking. Balance due in cleared funds 4 weeks before arrival date. Conditions of booking apply. A contents deposit will be taken and refunded following departure save in the event of damage beyond fair wear and tear. Families and couples only please - no hen or stag parties!

Rental prices quoted are based on 6 people (Barn) and 2 people (Byre) for a minimum of 3 days. A discount will normally be offered for smaller parties and a surcharge may apply for larger groups. A significant discount will be offered if both the Barn and the Byre are rented together. Over New Year, only a booking of the whole property will be accepted. Please ask the owner for the best price for your needs. Dogs are charged at £20 per week.
