Our luxury apartment is located in the prestigious Queens Gardens complex in the heart of Paphos. The property is arranged around a tranquil and beautifully landscaped courtyard with gardens, lawns, fountains and cupolas and boasts a large communal swimming pool decked with sunbeds and parasols. Walking distance to all amenities, restaurants and bars, archaeological sites, picturesque Paphos harbour and nearest beach, and only 20 minutes from the airport. Tastefully furnished to a particularly high standard, the accommodation is exceptionally comfortable and spacious with air conditioning throughout. On the ground floor is a large living /dining area which extends to a private furnished patio. A marble staircase leads to the first floor bedrooms and a good family bathroom. The first bedroom is a double with a generous veranda overlooking the gardens. The second is a twin with 2 single beds and its own east facing balcony. Dedicated covered car space. Adjacent to the new Paphos Shopping Mall which houses a CinePlex, children's play areas, shops galore, Supermarket for all basic needs and numerous eateries including Wagamma, TGI Fridays, Pizza Hut, KFC, Costa Coffee and Cafe Nero all of which offer WiFi. We can also pick-up a strong signal in our back balcony.

About The Owner

We chose Paphos as 'our place in the sun' as it really is a land for all seasons and importantly for us, easily accessible from UK airports. Along with its super holiday weather, we find Paphos very well catered for tourists. It is a safe, friendly & clean environment, offering a choice of Mediterranean cuisine, clean beaches, great golf courses and excellent location for walking and cycling along the seaside. Queens Gardens is our 'home from home' and we enjoy regular holidays there.

Extremely clean and tidy on arrival, well decorated & in excellent condition. The proximity to the old town, harbour and Tombs of the Kings was excellent with supermarkets, all night bakeries, restaurants & bars all within easy walking distance. Queen's Gardens itself was a pleasurable place to relax with its lovely gardens. The generous sized swimming pool was never too crowded or noisy.

Fabulous relaxing stay

From the moment we booked this apartment, jack contacted us with a prompt confirmation a series of useful information and helped us source a transfer from the airport, greatly appreciated,

We stayed for a week and I must say that this apartment exceeded our expectations. The apartment is very welcoming, very clean and extremely spacious and provided everything that we needed. The pool area is well kept and lots of sun loungers available so always somewhere to relax and the pool itself is a great size. The location of this complex is great as close to bus stops for getting out and about and there are local amenities and the shopping mall near by, it is nice to be a bit inland from the harbour (15 mins walk or 5 min bus ride) as away from the hustle and bustle which was nice for us.

Would definately recommend this apartment to family and friends

Clean and spacious apartment.

During the national holiday period, my family stayed at Mr Jack apartment for one week. All family members were enjoying the time of stay and impressed by the cleanness and tidiness of the property. More importantly, convenient access to all basic facilities such as bus station, kiosk, supermarket and modern mall etc.

Wonderful 'home from home' in a great location!

Very happy with this apartment, very spacious, clean and tidy. We were very pleased with the location, being able to walk easily along the Tombs of the Kings Avenue to the many, many bars and restaurants as well as only a 15 min walk to the Harbourside, where there were many more shops, bars, restaurants and a main bus depot that would allow you to travel easily around the Island. We found the bus between the airport, Harbourside and the Tombs of the Kings Ave extremely easy and cheap to use and didn't use taxis.

The Kings Avenue Mall is a stones throw away and was great to pick up groceries and additionally there were also a couple of 24 hr stores to grab any basics you had forgotten, late at night.

The pool was not the warmest but with the temperature still up between 28-33 degrees in mid September, you needed to get in to cool down! At this time of the year there were ample sunbeds and parasols, not sure how it would work if all residents/guests were present and wanting to sunbathe at the same time. The terrace outside the main bedroom was extremely large containing a sofa and two sunbeds but in Sept the sun didn't actually make it onto that terrace. However, it was warm enough all day and eve to sit out there to relax or have a quiet drink.

Two points to be aware of. One is that the apartment's TV's are basically news channels only so the only alternative would be to bring other electrical devices with pre-loaded films etc. There was also a DVD player in the living room. Second is that there is no WIFI in the apartment. You can pick up some free from the Kings Avenue Mall if you are at the nearest side of the apartment, otherwise we relied on our phone data that is now available to use with free European Roaming. For basic social media, google maps and emails, our data allowance was more than plenty.

Damage deposit was refunded swiftly upon our return. Only the lack of WIFI, TV channels and a slightly chilly pool stopped it being 5 stars, we would have awarded 4.5 stars if it had let us!

We will definitely be returning and must thank the owner Jack, for being so responsive in the whole booking process and then for giving plenty of informative hints and tips and answering further questions very promptly.

Perfect location

Booked our stay just a few days prior to departure. Owner was very quick to respond and offered lots of really helpful advice.

The accommodation is much better than the pictures suggested. Particularly liked the balcony off the main bedroom. The pool was just a short walk away and never too busy.

A very quiet location considering you were in a busy city. The location is excellent. We were there for a week and didn't need a car.

Would definitely return but July / August is hot. Easter or September would be perfect.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We stayed for 2 weeks commencing 8th July 2017. We were very impressed upon entering the apartment, spotlessly clean and very spacious. It had everything you need, like a home from home. The pool area and surrounding grounds were immaculately maintained and there was plenty of sunbeds although I did see a few break when people sat on them but the maintenance guys removed them pretty quickly. Jack the owner was very pleasant to deal with and always replied promptly to any emails.

The location of the apartment is great, right next door to the Kings Avenue shopping mall that sells everything you'll ever need and there are great restaurants close by. Special mention to the Pitstop bar, staff and entertainment amazing.

This wasn't our 1st visit to Paphos and certainly won't be our last.

Only one small point is the lack of wifi in the apartment itself. This is an important consideration for us but may not bother others. I just feel it is a necessity nowdays, but that's just my view and it didn't really spoil an otherwise fantastic stay.

FIRST CLASS

This property has provided our best holiday to date in all our dealings with Owners direct. Firstly the owner Dr Jack Chopra was fantastic in providing us with every piece of information we would need. The booking process was first class in itself.

Although impressed with the photos when booking, we were delighted on arrival to realise the property is actually much bigger & better than the photos show. Every possible requirement was taken care of for us.

Location for eating out, shopping, transport, sightseeing etc was the best.

All in all just first class.

Special interest holidays:

Kato Paphos Archaeological Park is within walking distance with amazing mosaics and accessible excavations.

The Aphrodite Waterpark is a guaranteed great day out for the family.

Coast/Beach:

A 5 minute stroll leads to the blue flag Lighthouse Beach. Here one can join the beautiful coastal path and walk 15 minutes to the Paphos harbour to experience the abundance of lively bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, boat trips, sea sports etc. Coral Bay which boasts excellent sandy beaches is a 20 minute drive away.

Travel:

The property is 20 minutes from Paphos airport and about 1 hour from Larnaca airport.

Regular buses run from just outside Queens Gardens to both the harbour and Old Town and also up along the tourist beaches of Coral Bay.

Car hire is an option rather than a necessity.

1km Lighthouse Beach (Blue Flag), newly laid Coastal Pathway.

2km Archaelogical Park, Tombs of The Kings.

2km Paphos Harbour, Castle, Bars, Cafes, Restaurants.

Further Details:

We will gladly recommend a reliable taxi to 'Meet & Greet' on arrival at the airport and drive you directly to the apartment.

This arrangement will be at cost, payable directly to the driver (approx Euro 30 from Paphos Airport).
