Looking for something different to the regular rental apartments? We thoughtfully renovated this apartment with the primary aim of using it for us and our family. We're also happy to share and would love you to enjoy it! It's fully equipped with everything you need for a stress-free break (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, etc) along with all the extras that family life bring (DVD TV, travel cot, comfortable bedding, fluffy towels, etc).

Essential to us all, we also offer free WIFI to keep you connected during your stay.

Our apartment is ideally located within a small residence in Meribel Village within a short walk of the chairlift. Being on the top floor, it's considerably more spacious that your regular apartments along with allocated parking and ski locker. The small balcony enjoys uninterrupted south-west views over the Meribel valley and is perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day's skiing. What are you waiting for!

Why Georgie Hopkins chose Les Allues

Having worked in the Meribel valley a number of years ago, we have visited regularly and know the area well. There truly is nowhere better for both winter sports and summer fun!

Meribel Village itself is a great location which offers a relaxing break, while still having easy & quick access to the town centre through the free bus service. You can be completely self-sufficient with the fantastic bakery, supermarket, bar, restaurant and ski hire. There is also the fast Golf chairlift from the centre of Village (5 mins walk from the apartment) which takes you directly to the Altiport area of Meribel and you can ski back to Meribel Village on greens and blue runs throughout the whole season.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment was completely refurbished to a high standard in October 2010 and we've maintained it carefully since then. Unlike other properties in Meribel Village, it is within a small residence of around 14 apartments, most of which are owner-occupied.

Being on the top (second) floor, the apartment has a significantly larger floor area than most 2 bed apartments (around 60m compared to 35m) and is fully equipped with comfortable beds, bedding and linen for for a truly relaxing break.

The south-west aspect offers stunning, sunny views across the Meribel valley which can be enjoyed from the balcony (ideally with a glass of wine in your hand!).

There is convenient allocated parking space directly outside the property along with a spacious ski locker on the lower ground floor.

Georgie's apartment was perfect for our family get together in Meribel. It's a beautiful place with everything you could ask for as a home from home. Great access to Village and the Golf skilift. Easy to get into Meribel Centre by bus. Georgie was the perfect host, providing all the information we needed before we arrived and easily contactable during our stay for any questions. Thank you for sharing your lovely home! We really hope to be able to stay again on future visits to 3 Valleys.

Great apartment

We spent a month in this lovely apartment. It is a short walk to the centre of the village for the ski shop, restaurant, bar and Golf lift. So the location is great and there are stunning views over the valley from the kitchen and balcony.

Meribel Village is less busy than the main town but it connects well for skiing and it is a short trip by bus or car.

Great location, beautifully appointed, fab views

We’ve stayed here twice now and have stayed in umpteen ski apartments over the years. This is one of the best. Granted there are only two of us in our party and we like space and this delivers. The apartment is well furnished and modern with a great eye for detail. It’s clean, neat and uncluttered. It’s also light and airy with lovely views over the valley at the rear.

The heating is excellent, the bathroom with full size bath and shower is spotless, spacious and warm.

Highly recommended.

Beautfilful, peaceful and perfectly positioned

This is our second visit to La Grande Casse and we absolutely love this apartment. The owners keep it in immaculate condition and provide lots of high quality items including DVD's, games etc ... it is brilliantly laid out, very spacious and has stunning views across the Meribel valley. I highly recommend this apartment which represents tremendous value for money - thank you Georgie.

Fabulous apartment & a perfect location

Stunning apartment, warm, cosy and very well equipped. Really comfy beds. Amazing views from the balcony and so central - less than a 5 minute walk to the lifts. We had a fantastic holiday and I would highly recommend staying in Meribel Villages. Thanks Georgie & Simon - hopefully we will be back next year!

Nice little apartment in a good location

Apartment as described, well equipped, good location. Bakery in the village is very nice if a little expensive, but well worth it. Good access to golf chairlift and the rest of the resort.

Staying in comfort enjoying the end of season snow

Simon and Georgie's apartment in Grande Casse was as decribed-spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, efficient plumbing and heating, a great view from the balcony, and a choice of 1000 piece jigsaws for bad weather. It was everything we expected and we will happily recommend and rebook if we return to Meribel.

Alternatively, Meribel Village is approx 600 miles from the channel ports. The journey is served by good motorways and takes around 8 hours, excluding breaks.

There is a very efficient and reliable free bus service which links all areas of the Meribel valley throughout the season so a car in resort is not essential.

Meribel Village is served by a fantastic bakery, ski hire, supermarket, restaurant and bar. Should you wish to venture further, Meribel is just 2km away and easily accessible using the free bus service where you will find a wider range of shops and restaurants along with ice rink and Olympic pool.

Childcare and ski school can easily be arranged through the ESF in Meribel.

Changeover Day:
We have scheduled the apartment on weekly rentals with Saturday as the changeover day however, if it suits other bookings, we will consider alternative changeover days and shorter/longer stays. Please just contact us with your specific requirements.

Notes on prices:
RENTAL PERIODS: We offer bookings from Saturday to Saturday and our rental prices are listed for this. Unfortunately Owners Direct do not allow the end date and start dates to be the same so it appears that the booking ends on Friday but this is in fact the last overnight with departure on the Saturday morning.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
