About the property

Apartment in Edinburgh, Scotland - Close To Bus Routes And Shops

Conveniently located for direct bus routes and with private parking, the property is half-way between the city bypass and city centre, on the south side of Edinburgh. The property overlooks well-maintained gardens containing a pretty stream, the Braid Burn, and is also very handy for Cameron Toll shopping centre, as well as for Edinburgh university, the veterinary school and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. It has one double bedroom with en-suite shower, one single bedroom, a further bathroom, large living room and kitchen with dining table. It is on the second floor (easy stairs) and has full gas central heating, free wireless broadband and flat-screen TV/DVD. It is a well furnished and equipped 'home from home', to which many guests return again and again. Sorry, no pets or children under 10.

About Mary

I have owned this property for 15 years and have enjoyed letting it for holidays. People return again and again and come to Edinburgh for many different reasons. I enjoy the goodwill which the flat generates with people from all over the world.

Mary purchased this apartment in 2000

Why Mary chose Edinburgh

The property is peaceful and quiet, with a stream running through the grounds.

What makes this apartment unique

The property has its own private parking - essential in Edinburgh. It is also close to a useful shopping centre and to lots of bus routes directly into the city centre.

Great stay once again

  • 5 of 5

Because this is my second stay at (and review of) Nether Liberton Appartement,i can't really add something new to my review.Everything went perfectly well, and meanwhile i don't consider myself as a tourist but more as a part time local.

Although i just came home,i really can't wait to return, the sooner the better.

Stay 9th to 16th May 2018

Home from home and lovely to come back to after a busy day sight seeing. The bus service is frequent and bus stops nearby as is the Cameron Toll shopping centre.

It was perfect for us!

What a Gem

  • 5 of 5

I'm so glad i found this Apartment, and had the chance to stay here.Everything went well, from contacting Mary, payment modalities, receiving the key via airmail and of course the stay itself.

The Apartment is really cosy and well equipped with everything you need. And a very convenient feature is the allocated parking space.Maybe worth more than a bucket full of gold in a city like Edinburgh, where the parking attendants are always on patrol.

It felt like being at home from the first moment, and i was really sad that i had to leave after nearly two weeks.

The Bus stop is only a few steps away, with a couple of bus numbers to the city centre.Cameron Toll Shopping Centre (with a large Sainsbury's) is just a three minute walk away, which is quite handy.

Personal conclusion: I can highly recommend Nether Liberton Apartment, and will be happy to return in the nearer future.

Quiet perfection

  • 5 of 5

Perfectly appointed flat, everything you'd need, wonderful location - easy access to many bus routes so you're in the City Centre in 20 minutes or less; shopping centre right around the corner - Sainsbury's (grocery store and more), plus 3 mobile phone stores and 2 banks; easy walk to King's Buildings campus of Uni. of Edinburgh. Guest book shows many repeat stays; we'd come back in a heart beat. We felt right at home.

Excellent accommodation

We rent a lot of places all over the country for short breaks and this one was certainly one of the very best. Absolutely every single thing you could want, spacious and comfortably furnished. This will be our Edinburgh base from now on. Marilyn and Ken
