La Torre, July 2013

Lovely well maintained/clean apartment in a great location, within walking distance of the shops and town centre. The apartment had everything from shopping bags, cool bag to pool side chairs which made our holiday that much easier. Our children loved the wifi, tv and proximity to the pools. The Costa Calida is a lovely place to visit and there are plenty of things to do locally (if you want to) like water park, go carts, markets and fabulous beaches or you can just visit one of the many pools on site. We visited Los Alcazares many times to eat and recommend La Diva, Flavour and Route 66. Thanks to the key holders who were very friendly and easy to contact if needed. I will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We bought the apartment off plan in 2004 when it was still just a great big field and moved in 3 years later in 2007. We bought in this area because of the fabulous weather, the great beaches and the security of a gated community. It's location is ideal, quiet and peaceful but still close enough to towns and cities in the area.

Activity and Interests


The beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor are 15 to 20 minute drive away. The region has one of the greatest yearly number of sunny days, an average temperature of 21º C. The Mar Menor with warm, shallow and calm waters is Europe's largest inland lagoon. With clean beaches and the absence of tides, makes it an excellent location for all adults and children. The nearest is Santiago de la Ribera, a pretty Spanish town with wonderful tapas and fish restaurants along the promenade.


The resort is a 20 minute drive from Murcia San Javier Airport or about 60 minutes from Alicante Airport. Although not essential, because of all the facilities on the resort, a hire car is recommended to fully appreciate this lovely area of Spain.


The nearest town of Roldan, with local shops and excellent bars and restaurants is a 5 minute drive from the resort.The historic cities of Murcia and Cartegena are within 25 minute drive both offering excellent shopping and architectural and cultural heritage and leisure facilities.

Beaches are 20 mins drive. Choice of 2 water parks within 40 mins drive. Conservation zoo within 30 mins drive. Torrevieja is 40 mins drive.

The large and friendly La Torre Golf Resort is a gated community in a peaceful rural location a short distance from the more developed coast. There is an exceptional range of on-site services including the golf course, bars, restaurants, supermarket, bank, beauty salon, swimming pools and tennis courts. The lakeside town centre itself is built in a Mediterranean style, and is a great place for a relaxing drink, a good meal or a refreshing ice-cream in the summer. It's easily possible to have a fantastic holiday here without leaving the resort at all!

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

Booking Notes:
A non refundable £100 deposit is required at the time of booking, with balance due 4 weeks prior to departure. An additional security deposit of £100 will be held to cover against breakage and damage and will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure once the apartment has been checked. A compulsory cleaning charge of 60 euros is payable to our keyholder. The following can be provided for an additional charge (also paid locally)

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible, but guests are requested to vacate the apartment by 10am on the day of departure. A later departure time may be possible although this is dependent on existing bookings, please ask when booking.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week in UK pounds.
Bookings of less than a week can be arranged and charged at £38 per night 1 October to 30 April and £43 per night 1 May to 30 September. Discounts available for bookings of longer than 7 nights. Please ask.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

Outside: The comfortable lounge/dining area looks out onto the balcony, where there is seating for 4 to dine 'al-fresco' and 2 loungers for sitting back and enjoying the sunshine. There are also 4 folding sun-chairs that can be used by the pool-side. Utility Room: Washing machine. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, beach towels and bedlinen are provided. There is a compulsory cleaning charge of 60 Euros, payable locally to the keyholders, who will also meet you on-site and show you around the apartment.
