Wonderful villa ,comfortably furnished,everything you could possibly need,fantastic garden and pool

We had a very happy holiday here in this wonderful villa .it was very relaxing and safe for my 2 year old grandson,even some toys to play with! The villa was clean and contained everything you could possibly need.The beds were comfortable and plenty of bed linen. The garden and pool was great and the views magnificent to the hills and monastery.

We also enjoyed our walks into the town and the market. Lots of local restaurants and bars and we were made most welcome

The owner Jenni was a good communicator giving us directions and easy access to the villa.

A great place for a peaceful holiday!

We will Definately be back

Comfortable home from home

What a lovely home. On edge of Porreres, overlooking countryside. easy walk into centre for cafes and banks etc. Bip supermarket and independent grocer nearby.

Well maintained home with everything you need. Food essentials , oils, seasoning etc. excellent cooking facilities. Great instructions for whole house. Little bits for kiddies too.

Garden area with pool quite private with various sitting areas and plenty of chairs and cushions.

Ideal house for a winter break too. Log burner and lots of heaters, better than home ! Sky TV and a good supply of videos.

Would recommend this home and I hope we get the chance to go back. Ideal for cycling base. We hired Cannondale road bikes from campos, nearby large town.

Jenni is great to deal with. Photos very accurate.

Would recommend Sa Placa in town, carpaccio tuna to die for. Can miquel cafe on corner great for lunch break.

Perfect few days in Porreres

The villa was very functional and well equipped and the pool area grand however outside furniture a little tired.

In general a great place with loads of nice touches.

A beautiful home to stay in to explore Mallorca

The property is within walking distance of a lovely Spanish square with a good choice of restaurants. It is equipt with everything you could possibly need. A lovely pool area with sunbeds, parasol and a fantastic BBQ looking out to the mountains. Very good seating inside if needed and three excellent bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipt for all indoor cooking. Parking on drive. The villa is secure.I thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Lovely Villa, nice area, good owner.

We booked up late for a bit of winter sun whilst the kids were on mid-term break from school. The owner could not have been more helpful.

The villa is 20-25 minutes driver from Palma airport, its almost in the middle of everything and everywhere. The Town of Porreres has banks, bakery's, supermarkets and restaurants all within walking distance of the Villa. Local eateries ranger from the cheap to the mid range. We ate handsomely at the nearest restaurant for £60 for 4 with 3 starters, 4 mains, 3 sweets, 4 beers & a coffee. The Town centre has 5 or 6 more bars and eateries. We ate at one of those establishments which was a little bit more expensive, but still worth it.

The property has ample space and amenities. The bedrooms are all large and airy. The property is reasonably modern, with all mod cons. You don't need to drag sacks of clothes with you as there is a washing machine, clothes line and ironing equipment.

There are two full bathrooms with powerful showers and a downstairs toilet.

The property has a fully functioning wood-burner, which was easy to use in the winter evenings when it can get a wee bit chilly.

The patio area is large and looks out towards the mountains in the distance. The pool is clean and is of a good size. There are some citrus trees in the yard, complete with fruit.

All in all, a gem.

From the Owner

I bought this property when I retired as I already had a holiday apartment in Porreres. I loved the town, the people and the area so wanted to spend my retirement here. It is typically Mallorcine, with very few tourists, and remains the same all year round. Convenient for Palma, the coast and the airport. I have now returned to UK for family reasons, but would like others to enjoy this area as I do.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended


The nearest beach of Sa Rapita with beautiful sand and a marina - a 15 mins drive away, with Es Trenc 20mins drive away. The east coast beaches including the award winning Calla Mondrago, are 30 - 40 mins drive.


Porreres is 20 min drive due east from Palma airport. Car hire is recommended.


The property is a 10 min walk from the town centre, with the nearest supermarket 5mins walk away. Campos is 7mins drive due south, and Montuiri 7 mins due north. The beautiful, historic city of Palma is 25 mins, and the 2nd city Manacor is 20 mins. Nowhere on the island is more than an hour's drive away.

Further Details:

Porreres has several supermarkets, banks, P.O., bakers, greengrocers, bars and restaurants. It a typical Mallorca town, with few tourists and very friendly, local people. There is a weekly market every Tuesday. The local fiestas are celebrated here in style. This area is very popular with cyclists with cycle routes and quiet roads. Bikes can be kept in the property's secure garage.

The property has the convenience of being in a town with all its facilities within walking distance. It is a modern property suitable for rentals both in the summer and the winter. The pool and garden are maintained by a local company. The property is suitable for children with cot, high chair and buggy provided. The property is heated so is suitable for winter lets. The windows and outside doors are double glazed. The property is suitable for children with cots, high chair, buggy and a few toys provided. Sky+ box has recently been installed. WiFi access. The rear garden has a large patio with an outdoor dining area covered by a pergola. There is a swimming pool surrounded by non-slip tiles, a gravelled area and a mature garden, with views over almond trees to Mont Sion Sanctuary. The pool dimensions are 7metres by 3metres, depth 0.8 metres gradually increasing to 1.4 metres, and is cleaned and maintained once a week. There is a brick built BBQ, and an outdoor shower. Utility Room: Washing machine, sink, hot water heater,water softener, iron and ironing board, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (not beach towels) and linen are included.
