This ground floor, two bedroom, self-catering apartment (with private patio) is called ‘A Stone’s Throw’ for good reason. It is situated on Droskyn Point, a literal stone’s throw from the steps down to North Cornwall’s magnificent 2 mile long Perranporth Beach. It is furnished to a high standard and is well equipped. This apartment is the ideal base for a great Cornish holiday or short break. There is a safe sandy beach at high and low tides with lifeguard service, tidal pool, sand dunes, dramatic cliffs with arches and stacks, decent Atlantic waves for surfers and a popular location for kitesurfing, hang gliding and paragliding. Away from the beach, Perranporth has a fine links golf course and a spectacular section of the South West Coastal Path is literally on the doorstep. A Stone's Throw has the best of both worlds - close to the amenities of Perranporth and also having a sense of being away from it all, with it's uninterrupted views of the beach and coast.

Why Hannah Cowan chose Truro & Falmouth area

We had been looking for a holiday home by a beach for some time when we came across this apartment. It was love at first sight! The stunning view of the beach bowled us over then, and continues to every time we go.

For us it had to be the north Cornish coast because of our love of surfing and body boarding.

What makes this apartment unique

We love it's proximity to the beach - it's perfect for making the most of the sun while it lasts and then retreating when it doesn't! No more battling with the traffic to travel to the beach and staggering down with everything we need for the whole day. We usually park the car when we arrive and there it stays until we're ready (or should I say have) to leave.

There is a private, off the road, parking space to the rear of the apartment (directly behind the kitchen). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, towels and t-towels are provided. If you plan to use the z-bed, please bring your own bedding, as our cleaning and laundry is carried out on the basis of up to four people. Other: Full range of high quality crockery, glassware and cutlery to serve up to eight people.

Excellent Location, well equipped apartment.

Fantastic Location over looking the beach and the sea. Walking distance to centre of Perranporth. A very comfortable apartment with lots of extras, body boards, wind breakers and games for the beach. Games and DVDs in case the weather bad. Well equipped kitchen. Much larger than on the photos . Loved our stay and hoping back.

just perfect

All we can say is that the pictures don`t lie and this apartment has it all, from a beautiful view to being fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay.

The owners have gone out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and even provide milk, tea, coffee etc waiting for you on arrival.

You are just a short walk from the centre of perranporth and all that it offers.

Amazing Views

This really was a lovely place to stay. The views from the living room of Perranporth beach were spectacular. The accommodation itself was very clean, well equipped and modern. The beach was only a short 5 minute walk away. Surfers, body boarders, ramblers and dog walkers can enjoy the beach. I would recommend 'A Stones Throw' to anyone who would like a relaxing break near the sea or who would like more of an athletic holiday taking walks on the beach and surfing in the sea. The owners really have thought of everything and there isn't anything that I can think of that you will be without during your stay. A car may be needed for elderly guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

wonderful views

Great apartment with stunning views over the beach and sea which we could have watched for hours be it from the lounge or from the quite large patio. It had a lovely home from home feeling and was very well equipped throughout from the kitchen to the beach towells and body surfing boards provided. Lots of great walks along the coastal paths and Perranporth is a lovely seaside town with plenty of good places to eat. Would highly recommend this apartment.
