Completed in January 2011. Four self-catering holiday cottages located in the picturesque village of Henham in North West Essex. The nineteenth century stables are located in the front yard of our working arable farm and have been lovingly restored offering modern facilities in a traditional setting. The farm has belonged to our family since 1902 and is mainly arable, we have conservation grade status and crops grown are wheat, oats, barley and oilseed rape. Additionally there is a small herd of Dexter cattle and a few chickens. Other old farm buildings are now used by Saffron Brewery, a micro brewery brewing beer available at the local pub and the Saffron Ice Cream Company which is available in the village shop or at the door! The Stables are single storey with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Accommodation comprises of an open plan living room/kitchen/dining room and still on the ground floor but up a few steps are the bedrooms and bathrooms.
A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to book and the balance six weeks before the holiday please.
Changeover day is flexible.
