Attractive and welcoming two-bedroom apartment overlooking beautifully maintained gardens. Sleeps 4 very comfortably and there is a sofa bed in the second bedroom which can accommodate a further person. New kitchen recently installed. Apartment redecorated within the last nine months - i.e. November 2013. Fully air-conditioned / heating with individual controls in each room. Underground secure parking. 24-hour security. Just a few minutes' walk to the beach through the gardens with access via a security straight on to the promenade. There is a very pretty promenade walkway past frontline villas, gardens and beach bars. The bustling town of Puerto Banus is a five-minute walk from the apartment yet Andalucia del Mar is a haven of tranquility. Marbella and its famous Orange Square is a ten-minute drive away where there are plentiful restaurants and the opportunity to take in a Flamenco show.

About the Owner

I live in England with my new husband and son. I love spending time in Spain as I feel so at home with its people and culture - a place in which to relax and unwind. The apartment is a wonderfully relaxing refuge - home from home. However, its location means that it is easy to discover other parts of Spain within a comfortable timeframe; e.g. the drive to Granada takes about three hours, as does the drive to Cordoba. Seville is approximately two hours away. There are lovely Spanish towns to visit, just a short drive away, such as Benahavis, Manilva, Casares, Cartama and Pizarra.

Great apartment in perfect location

This is a lovely apartment. Has everything you could need. Comfy beds, spacious lounge, great balconies in gated complex with gorgeous gardens and 2 pools.

Perfect location right next to beach and only 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

Sandie the owner is very helpful and sorted the only issue we had which was with the front door lock immediately and with no inconvenience to ourselves

Would highly recommend and will definitely return

Perfect apartment close to the beach

As soon as we received the comprehensive details on how to get into the apartment from Sandie we felt we had chosen the right place to stay. The apartment is on the first floor overlooking the lovely grounds with a pool in close proximity to the apartment and just a short walk away is the beach.

The apartment was furnished extremely well and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a meal, although the hob was an experience to understand but we managed it in the end!

The location is very near Puerto Banus - just a short walk away and with many restaurants that catered for all tastes. If you are taking children I would recommend Jack's which has been in the centre for many years and the food is always good.

Tramp bar & restaurant on the beach is open daily until about 7pm, I would recommend the fried whitebait which is amazing.

There are many supermarkets, one very near the apartment Super Col which stocks everything, otherwise you may need to get in a car to go to the larger supermarkets including Aldi & Lidl for good quality fruit & veg.

Constructive criticism - the front door leading into the apartment block has a door that slams so loud that if anyone came in late the whole apartment knew about it. Perhaps the door could have a mechanism added that allows it to close silently?

We took my elderly mother with us on this trip and there was no slip mat for the baths so she was a little apprehensive in taking a shower.

This place is perfect and we are hoping to book again for next year.

we have just returned from our wonderful holiday...feeling so lucky to have found this beautiful apartment. our first impressions were such a welcoming feel with everything we could possibly have needed right there. we settled in immediately and totally relaxed, the garden views are so pretty and very well kept as were both pools on the complex. The apartment has the luxury of three balconies which was wonderful as you have the choice of morning coffee & breakfast in the sunshine or a relaxing glass of wine on the other side of the apartment watching the evening sun go down. Another thing we enjoyed about the complex was the peaceful evenings everywhere became respectfully quiet from midnight so we all got good sleep... the beds are exceptionally comfortable too! its ideally situated just a two minute walk through the gardens to the security gate and you are out onto the paved promenade and onto the beach front & wow! what a fabulous view! a ten minute stroll in the glorious sunshine brings you into the port of Puerto banus, with its dazzling yachts, classic cars, top designer shops, bars & amazing restaurants...just so much to see and do & not forgetting at the top of our list was the view from the top of the harbour looking at the so pretty, typically andalucian buildings with the mountains in the background...just beautiful. This apartment is in the perfect spot for peace, relaxation & tranquillity and only a 10 minute stroll into the buzzing jet set lifestyle if that's what you are looking for. The owners could not have been more helpful in giving us directions from Malaga airport taking us directly to the apartment with our hire car and upon arrival the security guards were equally helpful in taking us to our apartment & directing us to the secure underground parking. A huge thankyou to the owners for allowing us to share their beautiful apartment we had a wonderful time & would love to visit there again in the future.

Ideal location to relax and re-charge batteries.

After several visits over the years I am happy to confirm that the environment has maintained its high standards. The location is ideal for a quiet stay but is only a short walk to the centre of Puerto Banus. The owner provides 100% service even down to arranging taxi pickup at the airport. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well appointed on the first floor of its block, serviced by a lift which also gives access to the underground car park. The gardens are well laid out with two pools and are daily maintained to show ground standards. A very short walk through the gardens accesses the beach via a private, secured gate. Just outside is the Ocean Club with very large pool surrounded by relaxing sofas and providing great meals and cocktails. The sea front walk of about 800 yards leads to the first of many bars and restaurants of which my favourites are "GOLD" and "Puicaro". Follow around the headland for a short way to find the marina and lots more places to eat. I would commend this property to everyone, especially as the entire area is kind to people who may need assisted access. There is no need to go down any steps.

Amazing property seriously cannot rave about it enough will never stay anywhere else again!!!!!!

Anyone considering booking their stay in Porto Banus I would urge you to book your stay here,the apartment is ideally located just a short walk to the port and nightlife and right on the beach in the other direction. The owner Sandie made the booking process so easy and was such a lovely lady to deal with it really was a pleasure. The apartment itself is gorgeous and so well equipped that it truly felt like a home from home.There were 5 of us who stayed and the apartment was perfect and could've easily accommodated a few more guests comfortably. Having made a tradition of our annual girly weekend to Marbella for the last 5 years I can honestly say that I will never again look for accommodation Sandie will always be my first port of call. All in all I would give my entire booking experience and stay 10 out of 10 and look forward to returning as soon as possible. Thank you so much Sandie.!!!!!!! X

Great apartment!

I stayed at this apartment last week for 5 nights with 3 other friends and would definitely recommend this to family and friends. The location is in a perfect spot, with everything a short walk away and Ocean Beach club at the back door!

Couldn't fault this apartment, it was spotless when we arrive, 2 large bedrooms and a large living room and the kitchen equipped with all you need. Plenty of sun loungers in the garden area, and 2 decent size pools.

Special thanks to Sandie's for answering all our questions beforehand and being very accommodating.

We are already looking to book to come back next year!

From the Owner

The property was purchased in 2004. In fact we had rented the apartment for several years from the previous owner and felt at home straight away. Although Puerto Banus boasts beautiful beaches, wonderful restaurants and bars - not forgetting the nightlife - and has something to suit all ages, you don't have to travel very far inland or further along the coast to find unspoilt villages and incredible scenery. A visit to Ronda is not to be missed; nor is a trip into the hills to visit Competa. Puerto Banus is just 35 minutes from Malaga airport and Malaga itself is an interesting city. For art lovers there is the Picasso Museum;for those who like to hike and explore there is Antequerra, Three Dolmens, El Chorro Gorge and Bobastro and Torqal de Antequera, to name just a few areas of interest. Granada and Cordoba are an easy drive away with all the history and culture that those beautiful cities have to offer.

The beach and beach bars are just a few minutes' walk away. There are many beautiful beaches along the coast no more than a 15 minute drive away - from those that are quiet and off the beaten track to those providing entertainment and water sports. The beach accessed by Andalucia del Mar residents is a family beach and particularly safe for children; yet just a little further along is the Ocean Club for a more sophisticated beach experience.


Malaga and Gibraltar airports are 40 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended (there are so many places to explore) but not essential as local taxi fares are reasonable and the Port and Marina are an easy walk. There are local buses to Marbella, San Pedro et cetera.


Marbella is a 10 minute drive and San Pedro 5 to 10 minutes away. The old and beautiful fortress town of Ronda is an hour's drive away. Gibraltar is a 40-minute drive with Algeciras less than an hour's drive away with its port and ferries to Tangiers and Ceuta. Cities such as Cordoba, Seville and Granada are a two-hour plus drive. Just a short drive away into the hills can be found the Malaga lake district, which is a haven of tranquility and stunning scenery.

Further Details:

Puerto Banus is famous for its smart Port and night life, but it also offers family entertainment, including water sports and safe beaches watched over and patrolled by lifeguards. There is an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Puerto Banus is a shopper's paradise with many designer shops. There are several supermarkets close by, including the Hipercor within the department store El Corte Ingles. The regular Saturday morning market is held in and around the Bullring. Marbella is a short drive away with its quaint cobbled streets, Orange Square, marina and market place. San Pedro is worth a visit for its fish restaurants, pretty squares and Thursday morning market. El Torcal Park Nature Reserve is known for its unusual limestone rock formations and is located about 30 km north of Málaga city in the direction of Antequera. Ronda is a must to visit at any time of year and holds different festivals throughout the year; but the best known Ronda festival is the 'Feria Goyesca de Pedro Romero' which takes place during the first week of September every year when there is a procession of horse drawn carriages through the streets of Ronda with everyone dressed in 18th century Goyesque costumes. The town of Monda is a typical Spanish town with its white-washed houses clinging to the side of the hill and is only a 25-minute drive from Puerto Banus. For those who enjoy venturing up into the hills the delightful town of Competa is a wonderful day out; the drive is exhilarating and the views are wonderful. Malaga boasts the new Picasso museum, as well as being home to some breathtaking architecture. For those interested in water activities the Torremolinos and Mijas water parks are approx 20 mins' drive away.

The apartment is in an enviable location. It is just a two- minute walk through beautifully maintained gardens to the beach; and the Port itself is less than a ten minute walk away. The property is in easy walking distance of the shops, bars and restaurants. However, although the apartment is so near to so much that is going on it is still a haven of tranquillity. For those with a car there is secure underground parking, with a lift up to the apartment. The development has two swimming pools. There is also 24-hour security. For golf lovers there are many and varied golf courses from which to choose, just a short drive away. San Pedro is a short drive away with its colourful Thursday morning market; and Marbella is a 15 minute drive, with its quaint squares and cobbled streets. It boasts wonderful shops and restaurants and a live flamenco bar.
