Duplex Apartment in Cala Ferrera - Peaceful Location, 1 Minute To The Beach

Sleeps 5/6. 2 bedroom duplex. This duplex apartment has 2 bedrooms downstairs with a separate bathroom. It is furnished with Mallorcan furniture and has 2 large balconies with views to the sea and pool. Going up a set of spiral stairs (there is 1 gate at the top of the stairs for safety) large lounge, dining area, separate kitchen, shower room and large balcony with views of the swimming pool, gardens, Cala Ferrera beach, and sea. Shared pool, gardens and patio. Air-conditioned. The beach is in front of the property approx 1 min away. The apartment overlooks the Cala Ferrera Beach. It´s a very quiet resort and at the same time it´s close to all amenities, bars, shops etc. Cala D'or town centre is a 10 minute walk away. Ideal for families with children and groups of friends, because of the safety of the beaches. There are another 2 beaches 5 minutes away walking: Cala Serena and Cala Esmeralda.

We met in apartment No. 206 on a very clean and well furnished apartment. That the apartment is on two floors (upper floor with kitchen, dining room, open living room with balcony and toilet and a lower floor with two bedrooms and bathroom with toilet) was our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 7, 4 and 2 years), very accommodating. Also, the rapid access to the pool (to be cleaned daily) for the stairs from the balcony of the lower level and the proximity to the sea (1 minute) have very convinced. We would definitely go back into the apartment, especially since the price was right. Recommended only. The landlady was very friendly and straightforward, the towels are changed every 3 days was very helpful. Restaurants and shops are nearby, but better located in Cala d'Or about 5 minutes.

Lovely views from 2 large balconies

This a very spacious & well appointed 2 bedroomed apartment set in mature gardens. Easily the best apartment we have stayed in. 2 large seabird balconies, each equipped with sun beds table & chairs. The bonus of air conditioning in the bedrooms as well as the lounge area was appreciated. Lovely modern bathroom downstairs & a decent sized shower room upstairs. Our host Rubi was very friendly & helpful. All amenities within easy walking distance & close access to the beach. We are already planning our next visit.

Very nice, well appointed appartment.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here with our two children (5 & 3) in September. The apartment was well equipped, clean, spacious with very nice balconies. The pool was lovely, never too busy and a welcome respite from the midday heat! Would echo others and suggest Cala Serena as the better of the two very close beaches. Would also recommend Restaurant Cala Ferrera. Communication with Rubi was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Lovely apartment, well maintained and very clean

The apartment was well equipped and clean. Rubi was very helpful although her English is limited (our Spanish is non existent!). The WiFi was a bit erratic but was reasonable when working.

The swimming pool was well maintained and kept very clean. It was though, very busy and we often felt unable to go for a swim when we would have liked to. To be fair, this is not surprising considering we stayed here in peak season. The garden was well maintained.

The beaches were very close but very small, we preferred Cala Serena, the smaller of the two within walking distance.

Lovely apartment

The apartment is just like it says ,spacious,clean and well equipped.we enjoyed our 4 day stay very much.lovely beach in front of apartment but even better smaller one few minutes walk away.cala serena beach.Rubi is lovely and very helpful.

Very comfortable

The apartment was very clean and spacious. There is little else you could want. There is a lot of steps but well worth it to a lovely beach. Restaurant over the road is very good and there is a supermarket 10 mins away. Rubi is very helpful and one of the best apartments we have stayed in to date, I am sure we will be back!

Lovely apartment in a nice area

The apartment and facilities available are great, exactly as described. It's spacious and very well equipped. The service provided by Rubi was excellent, accommodating a late night arrival and very prompt in dealing with any queries. It's in a great location, very close to the beach, a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Overall we were very impressed and it gave us a great base for a fantastic holiday

I've bought this apartment because I liked this zone a lot. It's an ideal place for enjoy of the calm and at the same time have everything close. It's a beautiful place because it has beautiful sea views and it is surrounded by pine trees. It is a small and very quiet complex. It has two quiet beaches close to the complex. People from a lot of countries come to my apartment.

Special interest holidays:

Close to the apartment you'll find water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports centre, scuba diving, shopping areas and a restaurant.

Coast/Beach:

There is a beach in front of the apartment. 1 min. walkin.The beach is nice small bay which is very safe for children. Fishing off rocks on the beach.

Travel:

The airport is 50km from the apartment. I would recommend you hire a car.

Car hire is not essential around the small town, Only if you want to visit the island.

Distances:

Manacor 20km. Caves of Drach 25km. Felanitx 13km.

Further Details:

Cala D'Or is pretty little town with lots of shops and restaurants with every type of cuisine from Spanish to Thai. A wide variety of shops catering for everyone, also nearer is Cala Ferrera where there also a wide variety of shops and bars. The apartment is 10 minutes walking to centre Cala D´or. Cala Ferrera. The area is make up of Calas (coves) Cala Ferrera, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Serena with sandy beaches and beautiful clear blue sea. Cala Ferrera is a great location for everyone. The Sunday morning market at Felanitx is recognised as being one of the best in Majorca. Also the fruit and produce markets at nearby Santanyi every Wednesday and Saturday mornings. A local bus can take you into Palma for the day and local car hire/money exchange places can organise trips to many of Mallorca's attractions. A day out to Aqualand one of the islands water parks is a great day for the children and adults alike.
