About the property

Apartment in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK - Within Tenby Town Walls 2 Minutes Walk From The Beach, Shops And Restaurants

We have owned this apartment since 2004 and have enjoyed all our family holidays here since. It is our favourite place to be all year round! Arranged across two floors, the hallway leads to 2 bedrooms and the main bathroom. Ahead there is a large bright living/ dining/ kitchen room where you can relax, eat and spend time gazing at the comings and goings in the harbour and pace your day with the changing tide. Upstairs is bedroom three with en suite shower room. The apartment has a light, fresh feeling, recently refurbished with modern fittings and furniture. It is well equipped for cooking at home, has a selection of books and DVDs for the odd rainy day (!) and plenty of storage for clothes. The location is very central but remarkably quiet because it faces the sea, not the town. At the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast path, there is no more central a place to base yourselves - cafes, bars, restaurants and three beautiful sandy beaches are a short walk away.

About Sue and Ian Orsman

We, Sue and Ian Orsman, live in Richmond, Surrey (West London) with our two daughters, Seren (20) and Caitlin (16). We bought this apartment in 2004 and since then have spent every summer holiday there. For the last four years we have also spent Christmas and New Year there where we had 14 people for lunch and open house for 30 for the Boxing Day Swim! We hope you enjoy the views, the relaxing atmosphere in the flat and the quirky town of Tenby as much as we do.

Why Sue and Ian Orsman chose Pembroke, Tenby, Saundersfoot & The South Coast

We bought the apartment in 2004 in order to spend our family holidays here. Ian is Pembrokeshire born and bred. He grew up in Lamphey just outside Pembroke so this is 'coming home' for him. Ian's parents, brother and family still live in Pembroke and regularly visit and stay with us in the apartment.

What makes this apartment unique

It is an ideal holiday for us because everything is there. If the sun shines, we live on the beach and don't leave Tenby. If it's not a beach day, we walk or we get out in a boat over to Caldy or fishing. Anything that keeps us close to the sea. When it rains, it's an excuse to stay in and do nothing but read books, play cards and watch films. The Hope and Anchor has hosted us on many a rainy evening! We are pretty spontaneous people and with Tenby weather you have to be. Most of all, we love to sit in the flat and watch the weather change - we live by the weather and the tide. We watch the clouds clear and then hot foot it down to the beach - and when the chill sets in, we are back for a cup of tea and those books!

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view!

The apartment is light and airy and directly overlooks the harbour. Although it is central to everything, it is extremely peaceful. It has everything on the doorstep so no car is necessary. A lovely place to relax and unwind.

Great apartment

Our stay here was really great. The view is to die for, the flat is in a top location for the shops and bars, the accommodation has everything you could want. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. We hope to be back!

A lovely apartment with stunning views

Fabulous apartment for three generations. Well appointed, well equipped and spotless. The beds are really comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The views are simply wonderful - it's the best spot in town, near the shops, restaurants, beaches and boat trips. With so much to do in Tenby we rarely want to drive anywhere else so even parking a few minutes walk away is no problem. We shall certainly want to book again.

A lovely comfortable, well equipped apartment with stunning views. Perfect location for town centre and beaches. The views are so good it does make for some later starts in the morning as tearing yourself away is hard! We hope to return and would highly recommend.

This property was exactly as described on the website. It was very comfortable with everything you need for a family week. The location makes for a very relaxing week, we hardly went out in the car as everything you need is on the doorstep, beaches, shops, and restaurants.
