Apartment in Golf Del Sur, San Miguel De Abona, Tenerife - 5 Minutes Walk To The Coast, 7 Minutes Walk To Restaurants And Shops, 1/2 Mile From Golf Course

Situated in the south of Tenerife on the Golf Del Sur. A typical Spanish style resort of luxury apartments overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the lush greens of the 27-hole championship golf course. The resort is in the heart of Golf Del Sur, with shops, bars and restaurants only 7 minutes walk away in the San Blas Commercial Centre. The coast path is only 5 minutes walk away along the front of San Miguel village. With frequent, local buses and taxis close to hand, public transport is easy to hand and there is adequate parking if you choose to hire a car whilst on the Island. The two swimming pool areas are a short distance from the front door of the apartment. There are steps leading down to the main pool area and some steps lead up to the top pool. There are no lifts in the complex. A large number of sun loungers are situated in both pool areas. Access to the complex is by key only, so the complex is safe and secure.

About the Owner

We bought our apartment in 2002 and have loved staying there ever since.

However, due to our children being at school we obviously cannot spend as much time there as we would like, so we would like to offer you the chance to use our apartment as a place to relax and chillout or to use as a base for going places.

Our apartment is suitable for young children as it is a ground floor property and there is a great little pool for non swimmers attached to the main pool which is heated all year round.

We hope you enjoy using our apartment as much as we do and look forward to welcoming you to our second home.

Enjoyed our stay. A nice apartment with everything you might need. The owner has put together a really useful information pack, not just about the apartment but also the surrounding area with lots of details of where to visit and where to eat. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent time had by our party.

Myself, my pregnant partner and her mother stayed for ten days and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The facility was great and had everything we needed for a private, quiet relaxing time. Not too far from shops, restaurants and having a nice quiet pool, we made the most of our stay by doing very little but resting and enjoying the sunshine.

Its not a party destination, its a great place for a laid back time and I would recommend to friends and family looking for the same.

Well equipped apartment in an ideal location.

The apartment is in an ideal location, very close to the coast with excellent access to South Tenerife Airport and the motorway which allows you to visit many parts of the island. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable with everything you need. There is range of restaurants, small bars and supermarket all within easy walking distance.

I would recommended a trip up the Teide Cable Car on Spain's highest volcano, however book online in advance as this will save approx.10% if you book from 14.00-16.00 when it usually quieter.

From initial enquiry through to arriving, Rob the owner provided us with loads of information and answered many questions which ensured our holiday ran very smoothly.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and our holiday in Tenerife and I will definitely recommend this to family and friends.

From the Owner

the area is quiet, the neighbours are friendly and welcoming. the apartment is centrally located so that San Blas is a short walk one way and the Marina is not too far away in the opposite direction. Golf Del Sur is not in the "Brits abroad" part of Tenerife, yes it is mostly British tourists who visit, but they are generally families or older people who have come for a quiet break, not partying.

Booking Notes:
we ask for a deposit when booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to travel. We have had to introduce a £50 security deposit due to a lot of damage caused by a minority of previous guests. This will be returned 7 days after the holiday unless our cleaners report a problem. A problem would typically include having to replace items due to theft or severe damage or extra cleaning required due to the apartment requiring a double clean. This is not a punitive charge and we hope will never need to be invoked.

Changeover Day:
Anyday of the week.
Apartment will be ready by 4pm on arrival and you have the use of the apartment until you leave for the airport. We will NOT ask you to vacate at 10am on your final day and we do NOT operate a same day changeover between guests.

The apartment has Wifi included in the price. The patio faces the road so you don't get a sea view, but you do get the sun from lunchtime until sunset looking out over the golf course and it is a quiet and sheltered place to sit out in the afternoon and evening watching people go by and looking out in to the distance. If you like the game of golf and are half decent, then the PGA golf course opposite the apartment is ideal for you too. We do not ask you to leave the apartment at 10am on your final day, unless you have an early plane of course. You are free to stay and use the apartment until you are ready to leave for the airport, even if this is late at night. Our cleaning team will not arrive until the following day. This means you have a relatively stress free final day and can get ready and packed at your own pace, while still enjoying the facilities onsite. Long Term lets - 6 weeks or more £200 per week with no linen changes or with weekly bed linen and towel changes add €10 per person per week(paid locally)

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: We don't charge extra fees to use the safety deposit box/Air Conditioning/electricity/water/washing machine. Free Wifi and digital television including 24 UK channels and many other EU language channels and now Russian Channels too. The wifi works in the whole apartment and on the patio, and you can stream TV to tablets or laptops in the apartment too. Nintendo Wii Games console is available with Wii Sports game disc, but if you want more games feel free to bring your own games. Outside: The complex is a gated community, so only residents, owners and guests have access. There is a vending machine which dispenses drinking water for about 10 cents per litre. This is 50% cheaper than the shops and is very convenient and safe. The apartment patio/terrace has a table and 4 lounging chairs which gets the sun from about lunchtime until sunset everyday. The patio overlooks pleasant, well maintained gardens which shield you from the road which is about 6 ft below the perimeter of the apartment gardens. The Golf course spreads out in front of the apartment. There are two swimming pools, the main one heated all year. There are plenty of sun loungers around both pools and it is rare for the pool to be busy expect July/August, you maybe the only people there or just with one or two others. It is often a very quiet place to be. There are great views out to sea from the pool area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Bed Linen and towels are also provided on arrival. A midstay change of bedding and towels costs €10 per person payable directly to the cleaners
