To the front and the rear of the property are panoramic sea views to Puerto de Mazarron and the tranquil sandy bay of La Azohia, not forgetting the scenic mountain backdrop. The villa has the holiday WOW factor in abundance. The villa, which directly backs on to a delightful pool area, has three double bedrooms and is fitted with all new modern appliances and Wi-fi. The huge roof top solarium provides a great place for socialising, BBQing or simply relaxing and enjoying the views.

We reside in Jersey in the Channel Islands with our two daughters Alexandra (14) and Zara (13).
I work in the finance industry as an accountant and my wife is a teacher.

We purchased this villa nearly 9 years ago after enjoying a couple of fantastic family holidays in the area.
Quite simply this is a lovely villa in a beautiful location. To the front and the rear of the property are panoramic sea views to Puerto de Mazarron and the tranquil sandy bay of La Azohia, not forgetting the scenic mountain backdrop. The villa has the holiday WOW factor in abundance.
The villa which directly backs on to a delightful pool area, has three double bedrooms and is fitted with all new modern appliances. The huge roof top solarium provides a great place for socialising, BBQing or simply relaxing and enjoying the views.
This area still has a lovely traditional Spanish feel with a growing Northern European influence. Neighbours can be French, Spanish, Scandinavian & Dutc
The villa is just ten minutes walk from the fabulous beach at Isla Plana. For those who prefer the pool open the gate and you are in a beautifully maintained pool area. Please note this development is extremely well managed. Alcohol and load noise are not permitted in the pool area. It is very family orientated. Owners will not take groups eg stag or hen parties.
If you enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of excellent nearby golf courses or walks in fantastic scenery only five minutes drive from the villa. If you are looking for great food in the comfort of the villa we have an excellent bbq.
There are excellent restaurants nearby which we can advise of on booking.
We stayed here for a week in April 2014. The villa was a good size for a family of 4 – 6 in a lovely quiet location. It was very clean and well kept, part of a small complex of about 12 similar properties with a shared pool. The views from the roof terrace were lovely especially the sunsets.
We didn’t walk to the beach which was about 10 minutes away downhill, but used our hire car and drove most places and the local port - Puerto de Mazarron was our favourite spot with several nice restaurants. Cartegena and Lorca are both well worth a visit.
Shaun the owner was great at responding to emails and questions and was very helpful with the bookings and providing lots of useful details of the area.
The only negative point was that there were only 3 chairs for the outside table, and 4 sunbeds which didn’t affect us too much as a family of 4 but would prove annoying for a family of 6! The back garden overlooking the pool was very nice but didn’t have any shade during the day, however there were a couple of beach umbrellas around the pool which you could use.
It would have been nice if the villa had wifi as it’s only when you don’t have it that you realize how much you rely on the internet, so in future we would definitely be looking for a property which offered this as standard. Also some friends stayed at a nearby apartment which included a table-tennis table and bats which would have been a nice addition for our teenagers.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the villa as a great place to stay.
