Beautiful cottage, great location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I looked at many cottages for us and our 22 month old daughter to stay in and are so pleased we chose this one!

The cottage is immaculate; it is clean, has lovely decor, and the layout and rooms sizes are great with plenty of room for us and our things. Its really easy to find and has on street parking right outside the door. There is a Co-Op about a 15 minute walk away which was handy and although the cottage is on a long road it was very quiet. The garden is also lovely and peaceful. Marlene and Eric were really helpful when booking the cottage, and even left us some yummy home made muffins and jam to welcome us! They provided a high chair and travel cot so we didn't have to bring ours, and even set the cot up for us and provided linens for it. It was the best travel cot we've used (better than our own!) as the mattress was much thicker than any others I've seen.

The location is great, we went somewhere different each day (we stayed for a week), usually within a 30 minute drive, and there were options for rainy days too. Would particularly recommend the boat trips to see the seals at Morston Quay, and our favourite day put was the Deer Safari which is in Snettisham itself! You can feed the deer by hand!

We had a fantastic week and have already recommended the cottage and area to friends.

A brilliant cottage which we highly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this brilliant cottage many times and have often recommended it to our friends! The property is tastefully and comfortably furnished, with all the facilities you need to make this a real "home-from-home" on the Norfolk coast. As keen wildlife photographers we enjoy touring Britain and have stayed at countless holiday cottages, but this little gem is our favourite bolt-hole when we need a base for touring all the top birdwatching areas of North and Mid Norfolk - only a very short drive from Holme and Titchwell and well-placed for a day at Welney or Cley, in addition to Snettisham beach of course! The cottage is warm in the coldest of Winters and parking is easy right at the front door. The kitchen is very well equipped if you like to stay in and cook, with everything spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Marlene's cup cakes are a welcome part of our arrival, sometimes accompanied by her lovely home-made jam - super little touches which make this very reasonably-priced cottage outstrip lots of its more expensive counterparts! Highly recommended (as long as you don't want to stay when we do !!)

Got to be the best little house in Norfolk

  • 5 of 5

This property really does live up to what it says on the tin. Everything we needed was there and we were fortunate enough to meet the owners as we arrived early.

The property was exceptionaly clean and tidy all we had to do was unpack, plenty of storage space available.

The extra touches proves the thought that has been put into this property, the garden is a little oasis with the same care and thought as the interior.

Marlenes home made buns and jam are to die for. We found it an ideal base for visiting North Norfolk whatever the weather. We will be definnitely visiting again, excellent value for money. .

we loved this cottage!

  • 5 of 5

A very well equipped, spotless cottage which was very welcoming and comfortable .... a real home from home! We loved the garden where there is always a choice of sun or shade, and the birds sang all day long! We explored the lanes and villages on our bikes, and loved our evening ride down to the beach when the tide was in and a friendly seal popped up to play each day!

Fabulous cottage & owners

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here over the easter weekend and very glad we did. Great location for families, lots to do within a short drive. Great local pubs/food and close to a few shops& beaches.

The cottage itself was spotless and really well equipped. The owners left very thoughtful gifts for us and went above and beyond. Will definitely be returning.

Christmas at West Row Cottage

  • 5 of 5

A lovely warm cosy cottage - ideal for a Christmas break. Well equipped & spotlessly clean. Personal touches of homemade jam, mince pies, & chocolates were greatly appreciated.

An excellent place for discovering West Norfolk, some fabulous beaches close by and wonderful walks. Great country pubs.
