The property is adjoining to the main house but is completely self contained with private swimming pool,where can you walk out straight into the pool, and is set in a rural position with a lovely garden which blooms with flowers. The Costa Calida supports 300 days of sunshine and is the best sort after area. The Mar Menor Lagoon is the most popular destination over looking the La Manga strip. There is something for everyone with a fantastic choice of Golf Courses. water sports, horse riding,fishing, quad biking and go-karts, walking and visits to historic cities in the Murcia area. Most airlines fly into Murcia airport (Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2) which is ten mins away by car. We advise you to hire a car during your stay. During July and August there are all night markets, fun fairs and a Circus in town.

I live just 2km from Los Alcazares, Spain with my husband and we have been here for 5 years and love the Mar Menor. There is so many things to do including water sports, boat trips and bars on the sea front. There is also some beautiful restaurants most of them do Menue Del Dia's at a reasonable prices.
This apartment is ajoined to the main house but completely self contained fully furnished with freeview tv and has a 32ft swimming pool. We supply beach towels, baby car seats, cot, Gazebo, sun loungers, and we are right next to a lemon grove for your G & T's while you relax by the pool.
We have La Sierna Golf couse just 1 km away and 2km to the beach.
Most budget airlines come to Murcai and we are just 10mins away. It is always advised to book early.

Ideal for peaceful break
Property was clean, well equipped and as described, location nice and quiet - great for relaxing. Pool was large and great size for swimming. Lorna and Richard both welcomed us and were always available to give us advise on places to eat, visit or shop. They even made sure we had a few bits in ready for breakfast due to our arrival time. Of course the unique selling point is Lassie who we adopted as our own dog for 2 weeks! Such a lovely dog. Everything you need is available here we are already thinking of booking again
Home away from home with sun and relax
Amazing place to relax and spend quality time with your family. Listing description accurate with regards to location and facilities. Property very clean and well maintained. Lorna and Richard perfect owners- always helpful and on site if you need any directions or anything else.

Thank you so very much Lorna and Richard for a perfect holiday. The property had everything that we expected and much more. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area and gardens are simply perfect and extremely peaceful. What wonderful surroundings - I have never seen as many lemons. Although remote it's only 5 minutes drive into the nearest town which has many restaurants to choose from. As for Lassie what a big softy we wish we could have brought her home she's a perfect guard dog! Thank you once again and we hope to see you again at sometime in the future.
Wonderful & perfect holiday
The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Garden and swimming pool big and fantastic. Lorna and Richard very helpful, your directions were so good! Great place for relaxing in the sun but also short drive to the beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants and historic places. Lassie what a gorgeous, kind and loving dog, we miss her a lot. We are already considering booking for the next year.
Quiet and relaxing
The apartment is clean, well equipped and comfortable. Lorna and Richard are the perfect hosts,on hand should you need them but value your privacy. They have lots of good tips regarding the area and nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool is well maintained and heaven on those long, hot sunny days. There is a pretty garden area surrounding the pool perfect for relaxing or soaking up the sun and a gazebo for shade. This is the perfect get away from it all holiday but only a 5 mins car ride to town and all its amenities. Step outside the gates and see row after row of lemon groves or in fields higher up, pick yourself a ripe, juicy melon. Last but not least the wonderful Lassie a good companion, very friendly but never a nuisance. We will be going back again and again.

They welcomed our late arrival with a cold beer and we instantly felt at home.
The annex was spotless, private, providing every comfort and facility you could possibly require.
The enclosed garden and pool were the jewel in the crown, patrolled by Lassie, the wonder dog!
Their local advice and knowledge were invaluable, even taking us to an Indian restaurant for lunch , a first for us !
We would advise a car is necessary ,not least to stock up the cold beers!
As frequent visitors to Los Alcazares for previous holidays, we found our stay the most relaxing we have ever enjoyed and anticipate returning.

“We bought this property because the Costa Calida has the most sunshine hours throughout the year and the location was just right to get to all the shops and the beach. The beach is the most beautiful and has long walks along the front stopping at many beach bars and meeting people. We have now many friends here including spanish who are very friendly people. We are situated in a very quiet village and away from the summer crowds should you wish to relax. We also have many fiesta's and they parade in their costumes up and down the streets with many stalls you can buy anything from then finishing with a fantastic firework display which the Spanish love.”
Activity and Interests
The beach is about 2km from the village and has beautiful walks along the beach front with many beach bars.
We are about a 10 min drive from murcia (san javier) airport it is a must to hire a car. This will enable you to see the area and visits to historical places such as the mud baths and all night markets.
The nearest town Los Alcazares is about 2km and has everything you want including banks, shops, restaurants, on Tuesdays we have in town a market where you can get all your shopping needs at half the cost of the supermarkets. During July and August we have all night markets, fun fairs, and circus in town, also fiesta's which is a parade by the Spanish in full costumes, its spectacular.
Should you need any info on where to go and eat there is a Tourist information situated in the town. Also there is go=karting and quad biking, boat trips, fishing. Also we are not far from Cartagena which is a historical town. During July and Aug there is an all night market, funfair, and circus in town.

“We enjoy living in this small village because we go back to nature we have lemon trees, melons,all growning in the fields, tangerines, lettuce, potatoes, and many more veg, which the local farmers gives permission to pick for your own use. What more can you want to collect on your walks. My brothers who love to play golf found it so easy to just go and play at La Sierna Golf course having many offers on all year round. We would cater for anyone wishing to Rent on a long term or for just a long weekend. So please book early as clients have already said that they would book again next year.”
