Cottage in Dornie, Nr. Kyle of Lochalsh, Scottish Highlands - Peaceful 10 Minutes Walk To Facilities (Shop, Pub, Etc)

Modernised, detached, 3 bedroomed cottage on South shore of Loch Long in Dornie. 10 minutes walk on quiet shoreside road to shop, pub, restaurant and Eilean Donan castle. Only 9 miles to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye bridge. Kyle has a railway station, supermarket, doctors surgery, swimming pool, tourist information and a range of shops, pubs, hotels etc. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, bathroom and separate shower room. A large well equipped kitchen off open-plan dining/living room with a large bay window overlooking the loch and towards Skye to the West. An excellent location for walking, cycling, canoeing etc and for exploring this part of Wester Ross and Skye.

We love this place. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. We have made beautiful walks on Skye and in Lochalsh. This is certainly a place to visit again.

The views are beautiful and the cleanliness is spotless. Hotel and Pub both have good food and are both dog friendly.

Cottage on loch

Dornie a wonderful location,ideal for Skye and the Highlands. Accommodation very good,well thought out and equipped. Pub 10mins walk,food good and a warm reception cannot say the same about the hotel. Went on boat trip from Portree saw the sea eagles,amazing- took the sea plane around Skye well worth the cost.
