Situated in a peaceful valley commanding views of rolling Marche countryside 15 minutes walk into a medieval hill town boasting 3 restaurants, bars, shops and stunning architecture Casa Collina provides spacious high quality comfortable accommodation for up to 14 people. Each of the 6 bedrooms has a private bathroom. The reception areas are spacious and generously furnished. The large, lawn garden surrounding the house is well stocked and beautifully maintained. The 12 x 6 m pool with Roman steps is on a southfacing terrace just below the house, well in view but safely apart. Loggia provides shade along with a vine covered loggia above which connects with a kitchen providing a perfect place for long lunches in the shade. A large well equipped kitchen, a washing machine/utility room, a snooker table and internet access via on dongle all go towards ensuring a perfectly relaxed, stress free environment in which to chill out and enjoy this exceptional family holiday house and location.

Sant angelo in Pontano 5 minute drive. 3 restaurants, 3 bars, 3 churches, medieval architecture, lots of bells ringing and a bustling place full of local Italians. Shops are excellent for a small place. monthly market and several festas in the summer.

Macerata - the provincial city is an immaculate walled town with top notch boutiques and some excellent restaurants. A magnificent open air opera season takes place in July in an ancient outdoor arena.

Local food & wine is excellent.

We provide a personally written restaurant guide to the area which we publish and distribute each year for visitors to this area.

The local village has a small good supermarket, good wine stock, there are 2 vegetable shops, 2 butchers, chemist, and an ATM that takes foreign cards.

The bars make superb coffee and serve cold beers and excellent wine by the glass. Its a lovely place to walk to for your morning coffee and pastry to pick up your bread from the bakery, have a gorgeous gelati and buy your buy ingredients from the local butcher as the meat is all locally bred and fed on the sweet pastures surrounding the village.

There are many many other hill towns and places of interest.

We will provide you with all the necessary help and information.

  • Notes on accommodation: The generous accommodation was newly completed in 2009. Out of season the house is used as an agriturismo and therefore provides spacious and private accommodation. but the house has been designed as a private house and has the atmosphere and cosiness of a personal home. Built to keep the interior cool in the hot summer months the house provides a cool haven from the sometimes ferocious summer sun each room has shutters, high ceilings and cool terracotta tiles on the floor with room fans. fully heated it is a wonderful winter house. Comfortable and warm the beds, mattresses and pillows are all new and top quality. The 2nd floor designed to act as a childrens open plan sleeping area was a great success this year. The bedrooms are all designed to be comfortable, private and independent. No interconnecting doors or rooms. This year there were two kitchens to use the main one connects to the sitting room and leads out to the pool terrace. The 2nd is useful for poolside dining. Outside: A long drive way leads to the parking area and a vegetable garden. sufficient parking for 8 cars. The lawned garden gently declines towards the pool. The pool terrace is paved, southfacing with lovely views of the march countryside and a famous medieval hill town. The location is very quiet with no immediate neighbors or dogs , although please be aware this is a rural area and therefore a farming area. the pool is 12 x 7 m with roman steps and a baby pool attached. The terrace receives the sun all day and shade is provided by a canvas loggia and umbrellas. Sun chairs and garden furniture are not in short supply. Just above the pool a vine covered loggia connecting to a kitchen provides a wonderful dining spot for long pool side lunches and dinners.Barbe provided. The garden is beautifully presented, the flat lawn areas are perfect for ball games. walk up the white road to a brilliant well renowned restaurant a 10 minute walk or another 10 mins or less gets you to the hill town. Utility Room: In a garage area behind the house housing a washing machine, sink, shower etc. Outside washing line. Iron and board provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly if staying two weeks or more with change of linen and towels. Other: A large dining room with ample table and chairs to seat a large number but also can be made more intimate for smaller groups. Full Wifi
