Apartment in Cala D'Or, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - 5 Minute Walk To The Marina

Tastefully decorated ground floor apartment with fenced garden area. Located on outskirts of Cala D'Or, just five minutes from the marina and ten minute walk into main town with shops and restaurants. The apartment is fully air-conditioned, which is a big plus in the summer months.

The apartment is fully equipped with outdoor furniture plus in an outdoor storage box are many items for the children; floats, bats and balls, beach toys, paddling pool. The complex is perfect for families and couples alikel it is not a noisy area so perfect for relaxation with a communal pool onsite if you prefer the pool. Beaches are all within easy reach, but buggies required for young children would be recommended. Safe for young children as only residents are allowed in the complex via keys and key fobs for car entry.

About Maddie Grimes

Apartment is owned by myself and my husband, Simon. We have had the apartment since late 2006 and had much fun furnishing the apartment during 2007 whilst I was pregnant with our daughter, Ellie. We run our own company and due to work commitments we find we are not able to visit the apartment as much as we would like and therefore decided to rent.

Why Maddie Grimes chose Migjorn Region

My husband initially lived in Mallorca when he was younger and enjoyed his time there and so has been holidaying there ever since. Cala D'or we liked particularly as it was close to the airport and does not impact on your holiday time (45mins from Palma) and does not get overcrowded like some other resorts.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is on the ground floor with its own garden and a communal pool area. Although the apartment is part of a complex it is only small but well presented. We are a 5 minute walk from the marina and a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area with a good range of restaurants.

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning. Outside: Garden with property, BBQ, outdoor furniture provided and patio furniture also. Swimming pool is shared on the complex. Utility Room: Washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are all included, with extra should you need to change during the week. Property cleaned once a week on changeover day, therefore if staying for two weeks the property will be cleaned once during two weeks with towels and linen changed.

Lovely apartment close to everything you could need.

Just returned from a relaxing fortnight in this apartment.

Well equipped with everything you need for your stay.

2 bathrooms was really useful with 4 adults.

The apartment is far enough away from the main town to be quiet but near enough to get to everything with or without a car.

Gated community so feels really secure. Lovely pool area.

Also only 1 hour by car from Palma.

Maddie the owner was really helpful from booking right through to our stay.

We love this area and the beautiful beaches so will definitely return.

Excellent experience with young children

This apartment was exactly as described. It doesn't have a view and there is some road noise in one bedroom, but this is reflected in price.

It had everything we needed for our baby and three year old which made for a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed the little pool on the complex which felt safe and well maintained.

Excellent communication from owner and helpful agent locally

Highly recommended

Hire a car and explore the beautiful coast and interior. Wonderful

Various beaches all within easy reach of the apartment.


Palma airport 45 mins drive away. Car hire is recommended but not essential. Taxis are widely available and a little train runs in Cala D'Or and surrounding areas, great for families.

Further Details:

10 minute walk into the main town with shops and restaurants.
