Disappointing - not as described

Property has stunning views and many positives. However, the description isn’t accurate. Ten people can’t comfortably sleep here. One bedroom is an attic room, in which you can’t fully stand up and is stifling in the heat. The windows in this room are at floor height, really small and have no blinds/curtains. Another room is a single bed with pull out mattress to sleep on the floor. The master bedroom is great, with views and en-suite. The Villa was described as having 4 bathrooms but one of these is just an outdoor shower head next to the pool. This is a Villa for one family with children; definitely not several couples. There is a large lounge area, but unfortunately it’s furnished with garden furniture which is really uncomfortable. The air con didn’t work and we weren’t offered a technician for nine days. This made for an uncomfortable stay; some areas of the Villa were unbearable. The housekeeper did drop off fans but they just circulated the hot air. Despite booking the Villa for 12 nights, no cleaner came mid stay. The housekeeper was available on WhatsApp but we didn’t see her after check-in despite having significant air-con problems. The pool area is lovely with great views. There is a lovely outdoor dining area. Beyond the pool, is little grassed garden area but again that was unusable due to a large hornets nest that hasn’t been tended to. All in all it was a disappointing accommodation.

A wonderful villa

What a wonderful villa set in a spectacular area. The views were just superb. Heavenly. The villa had everything you could need. Frits,the owner was very helpful with booking and advise pre visit and Selene,housekeeper ,was excellent whilst we were there. The area was peaceful with several really good restaurants within walking distance. Well positioned to visit all areas of the lake. Thank you

Lovely spacious villa in a beautiful setting looking over Lake Garda.

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. Very well designed and equipped with plenty of space for our family of 9. It's bigger than it looks with rooms set at different levels. Loved our bedroom looking over the lake, pool and gardens. We all loved the pool and the roof terrace is amazing and set with table and chairs to enjoy the stunning views. Quiet area of the lake but enjoyable short walk to local square by the lake with pretty boats and harbour. Easy to drive to local restaurants and towns along the lake. Housekeeper great and there when needed. Thank you for a special holiday.

Absolutely terrific villa in beautiful setting, the destination is dreamy.

Our family made up of six adults and four children made our way to this Villa renting cars from the airport in Verona. The best route to arrive was taking a car ferry from the east side of Lake Garda to Toscolano Maderno (Salo had major delays due to weight of traffic on narrow roads). The directions to the house were complicated, sat nav not advised by owner. Better instructions and map needed. The housekeeper welcomed us with a prearranged supper - recommended! The house has a roof terrace and brilliant views throughout of Lake Garda. The house had lots of living areas making it possible to be together but also find a quiet spot for a bit of space. Brilliantly equipped kitchen. Air conditioning in all but one of the bedrooms and fan instead making room pleasant to sleep in. Ace pool with outside shower, sun loungers and umbrellas. A strole down the hill (across a busy road to Gargnano)to Yacht club and village shop and a few local restaurants in picturesque square overlooking the Lake. Into Gargnano for bakers and butchers, shopping and restaurants. We visited Italy during a heat wave and during the day we were happy to lounge by the pool keeping cool for most of our time but we did make it out for a boat trip to Lemone which was well worth it and a tour of a local lemon grove. A thoroughly enjoyable week.

Lovely setting on Lake Garda, plenty to do but not too touristy. Beautiful lakeside towns.

Gorgeous villa - modern, stylish and spacious. In a great location. Amazing views across the lake and mountains from the roof terrace.
