The Hayloft is a spacious two-storey barn conversion set in a quiet rural position about a mile inland from Bacton. It is within walking distance of the beach, local shops, pubs and a good takeaway fish and chip shop. Within a few miles of the property is boat hire for the broads, horse-riding, golf and many more beautiful beaches. Cromer is about 12 miles away with its pier, and historic Norwich 15 miles, great for shopping. Norfolk is full of stately homes, churches, nature reserves, good food and pubs, something for everybody.

About Clare Cook

Myself and my partner Iain have owned 'The Hayloft' since 2010, we have rented it out through owners direct and then with hoseasons for the last three years, we spend as much time as we can in Norfolk , as we love the peace and tranquillity .

What makes this barn unique

We spend a lot of time walking , the Bacton woods are beautiful and peaceful . Walking along the beach towards mundsley , the dogs can run free, and you will hardly see a soul- lovely ! Towards Walcott it will take about 3/4 hour walk along the beach , where you can stop for a drink at the poachers pocket or a good meal, or the cafe the kingfisher.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is clean and comfortable as you can see from the photo's, plenty of room for everybody not cramped. Outside: Enclosed westerly facing courtyard garden with patio table and BBQ. Enclosed grassed front garden. Covered parking for one car, plenty of room for more on gravel area. Utility Room: Large tiled area with airing cupboard, tumble drier, washing machine, butler sink, large walk in cupboard for coats etc Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included. The property is cleaned weekly. Other: There is also a travel cot and highchair available for use.

Great location for an active family holiday

The cottage is a lot bigger than it seems in the photo's, with plenty of room for the eight of us, with all the equipment you need - including WiFi, for days out research.

We spent a week there and found lots to do for a families with boys aged 5, 8,9 and 13. The beaches at Sheringham, Cromer and Mundesley, the bigger resort of Great Yarmouth is only 40mins away, with funfairs, adventure golf, and Jump Warehouse (indoor trampolining). We also visited Amazona world, BeWildwood, did a 3 hour canoe from Banks Boats on the broads and the museum of the boards - all are within 30mins drive.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit payable at the time of booking, and the remainder six weeks before the period booked. If booked less than four weeks in advance the full amount is due at the time of booking. All funds must have cleared the bank before taking up occupation.

Familys only, no groups of singles please, we have neighbours to consider. Terms and conditions will be sent out, with receipt of payment which will give further details of the house,this will need to be signed and returned.
